The # of Americans who have passed due to COVID – 19 has almost doubled in the past 2 days, to nearly 950.

    66k infected.

Yet today Trump spoke to our country, congratulating himself, lying, and attacking the media.

Let us remember that on January 21, 2016, Trump took to the rally podium and told us the nation is in crisis ….   “I alone can fix it.”

Only to turnaround on March 14, 2020 and tell the American people at war “No I don’t take responsibility at all.”

Yes I remember January 21 of 2016, the corona was big time at that day, right? Or something else?

    https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/25/trump-coronavirus-national-security-council-149285

The outgoing Obama team gave the Trump team a pandemic playbook. If they’d followed it, the guidance questions would have led them, for instance, to stockpile masks & gowns, critical equipment now in short supply. But they ignored that guidance.

Trump & administration have ignored many suggestions and warnings. To prove what? That they don’t know what they’re doing? They don’t care about most people? The rules don’t apply to them?

You are proving day after day to be the dumbest person on here. I am actually starting to feel truly sad for you. It is deeply concerning to me at this point, mostly because I know a lot of America is like you. I think it is really sad to blame a global pandemic on one man who does not have as much power as you think. I think it is also sad that your brainwashed to think the worst. Trump is daily trying to provide better good during this virus and if you think he can do better, fair, but to not mention all the good he has done is just ignorant

The WHO's originally death rate percentage of 3.4 in China was grossly exaggerated. You have to remember that when that number came out they were only testing the worse cases. As more testing has become available they dropped the death rate to 1.4 percent and as even more people are being tested as well as all the asymptomatic people who have the virus and dont even know it that number is going to plummet even further too a number lower than the regular flu. Yes its horrible that the elderly are the most vulnerable but that's been the case for centuries with thousands of infections diseases. The way the  media has caused mass hysteria and panic is completely inexcusable. I urge all people to take a deep breath, please think rationally and put things into perspective. And please stop believing everything the mainstream media and government is telling you. I'm gonna say this one time YOUR GOVERNMENT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AND WELLBEING. If they did they'd be telling you how to eat right and strengthen your immune systems. Instead they're putting chemicals into your food supply and supersizing all your fast food orders. Who the hell needs a 100 oz. Soft drink. A nation of healthy Citizens isn't profitable they poison you with fast food until you get diabetes and heart disease ( Which is the real epidemic) Then they sell you prescription drugs for big profits as you wither away your last remaining years. People aren't dying from this virus they're dying from weakened immune systems. I'm seeing people literally sanitizing their hands after everything they touch. The immune system needs to be strengthened to work properly. Yes alcohol kills all the bad bacteria but it also kills all the good bacteria are bodies have as well. We are full of trillions of microscopic GOOD bacteria that work in tandem with our immune systems to fight off disease. All your doing by oversanitizing is weakening your immune systems and leaving yourselves more vulnerable to disease. Same reason why people who take large courses of antibiotics are chronically I'll they have killed the bad bacteria but also have killed trillions of GOOD guys. I encourage everyone to go down to their public libraries ( If their still open) and grab some books on infectious diseases and the human anatomy and start forming your opinions on authors who are objective instead of mass media who always have an agenda. The worst thing you can do is isolate with CNN or fox news on loop it will make it seem like the boogeyman is around every corner when in actuality it's not the case. People have been dying all around the world from thousands of infections diseases for years (most of which are more deadly than this) and life has gone on we will get through this. wash your hands cough into your elbow ( Things we all should be doing anyways) and remember the death toll from this is extremely low.Your far more likely to die in a car accident or any of the other thousands of things that can kill us on any given day lol. Put some thought into the real epidemics heart disease, diabetes the opioid crisis and the hundreds of thousands of deaths from tobacco and alcohol just a little perspective. And go out and lick a telephone pole! Build up that immune system! Good luck everyone !

So, now UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has it.. As if all the deaths around the world attributed to the Chinese Virus wasn't enough, what will the response from the international community be if a head of state from some country actually dies.   There should be a special hell to pay for the Chinese that acted so irresponsible from the beginning.  There is blood on your hands president Xi.

We keep hearing a lot from everyone about what the true mortality rate (or death rate) is of this virus.  Understandably, many people may show no symptoms but are carriers of the disease, thus they are never counted... Omitting these individuals from the pool increases the mortality rate because they are not counted..   What concerns me are the healthy doctors/nurses that die from the disease trying to help others.   Would this be news any other year when we talk about the seasonal flu ?  To me, it does seem to be more lethal, and we already know that it is more contagious than the season flu.

That is not a good combination.

With the Chinese Communist Party hiding the true death tally in their country, we will never know the true fatality rate...they refuse to include up to the 21 million uncounted deaths since February an_light

    No

"Healthy young child goes to doctor, gets pumped with massive shot of many vaccines, doesn't feel good and changes - AUTISM. Many such cases!"

    well maybe

The German newspaper Welt am Sonntag reports that President Trump sought to pay a German biopharmaceutical company to develop a coronavirus vaccine in the United States, with the proviso that the product would be “only for the United States,” according to a German government source. The German Health Ministry has confirmed the report.

    still waiting

On February 25, Trump promised that a vaccine would be available soon. “Now they have it, they have studied it, they know very much, in fact, we’re very close to a vaccine,”

I got no problems with the names(from people on covers),i do it to when its deserved(hence the idiot statement). But from the president,it just shows his pre-puberty mentality,he thinks he's mr. tough guy.Did you hear what he said last night about how he wont call the govs of Michigan and Washington, cause they are not nice to him(aka-not kissing his a**).The president of the United States dont care enough to make a call about people in 2 of his states, cause their governors wont say he is doing a great job.He is like a teenage little girl throwing a hissy fit,if someone doesnt agree with them,i guess thats how you get, when you've cried(and sued)and (ran from a war, with bone spurs),everytime things dont go your way.Its ALWAYS someone else's fault,or someone is always picking on poor wittle donnie.Like when the reporter asked him if he takes responsibility for when they closed the epidemic disease agency."No i dont take responsibilty for it,hey Tony do you know anything about who closed that department"?

So it would make you feel better if Trump took responsibility for the virus?

"I am Donald Trump, and I take responsibility for this virus that is from China but is my fault". Does that make you feel good?

Just an outsider hear to your north but it does seem to me your leadership is really dropping the ball on this one.

When this is all said and done, there will be plenty of lessons to be learned.  For starters, and perhaps most importantly, we need to shut down all international travel for a period of time when there is a case of Chinese Flu again (of course U.S. citizens allowed to come back home under quarantine).. Trump took criticism for implementing a travel ban on China, but I think the lesson going forward is to completely wall off the country for a period of time until a local epidemic subsides.    This talk of not being prepared by not having enough ventilators, doctors, etc. is not the issue.  You are already behind the curve when you are worrying about these valuable resources.  The travel ban step is extreme in times of crisis, but better insures a country will not have a severe outbreak.

And for the umpteenth time,  the World Health Organization is an absolute joke.  Nothing more than a political body that provides no leadership skills, and simply reports what is happening (and who also criticized Trump's China ban).  We need an international health body that can provide leadership in times of crisis.  The U.S. should have fund another dollar to this fraud.
