I say that all the time, the dems and far left rather see this country burn then see Trump for another 4 years.

I can understand if you disagree with his character, or disagree with his policy/stance. That is 100% acceptable. But the stuff they say is so irrational that nonbiased mental health experts would believe they have an issue. People are put on heavy drugs when their minds go crazy and they start thinking irrationally. And all this irrational talk about Trump and the repubs in a way fits that criteria.

I mean all these people after 4 years still see him as "a threat to this country" and that he is "dangerous to the public". I mean come on, you may not like the dude, but do not act like he is some killer that is out to get us. He has done some good too.

What I think sucks the most really is that you cannot talk with any of them. Literally the media pushes away any thoughts if you are not on the far left.

Yeah 100%. Never has anyone fought back against their socialist views and media judgement. Trump is ready to do that and even it is not presidential, I like it. Because the left are bullies, but the worst type of bullies. The Bullies who bully others but act like they did nothing at all wrong.

Just got into an argument with a friend from nyc.  I posted a picture from yesterday of a crowded subway car with the caption: "how many more people need to die before they shut the subway down"

Now I understand the people that live in nyc are f*cked, they make too much money to be eligible for the stimulus so they feel the need to go to work.  They rely on the subway to get to work.  She started making excuses that people that work at the hospital or grocery stores won't be able to get to work.  I told her if that was her true concern I am sure rides could be provided for them.  In other countries (and the US too?) people volunteer to take people to their essential jobs. I also pointed out:

There are 500+ MTA employees positive for COVID, including the MTA Chairman. Another 3,000 are under mandatory quarantine. On top of that, about 2,000 employees have been calling out sick daily (these may represent individuals sick with other illnesses, individuals sick with COVID but unable to get a test or people just staying home out of concern).

    ...fell on deaf ears.

Why hasnt Andrew Cuomo shut down the subway? That would be the "red pill" moment for everyone to understand stay the fuk at home.

This is why Cuomo is a govenor and not a leader...hes got no balls to make the right move when absolutely necessary.

Meanwhile the Govenor of Georgia just got wind of sliced bread, calling it the best invention since...

I also pointed out:  There are 500+ MTA employees positive for COVID, including the MTA Chairman.

Residents don't want it shut down, they are already pissed it is operating at a reduced schedule, maybe to appease the voters?  He recognizes it will cripple the economy even further, but I agree with you, letting both the subway and buses run is only making the situation worse they are the two hotspots of contagion.

You can read their sentiment here:

I considered stirring the pot, but not worth the hassle.

Dems are already sure he is their next president. I did not see him do anything special, just heard him plead for help from others every day. He had nice daily press conferences with already known info, the same one Trump has but only Trump gets bashed for his.

The one thing that everybody keeps missing is the point that there are no easy answers. Every attempt to do something right may actually be wrong.

To completely shut down public and private transportation anywhere is a recipe for disaster. My son flies planes for Republic Airways (a regional). He has the option of sitting on his behind for 50% pay or staying on the schedule for 100%. He chose the latter because he knows how important it is to have transportation readily available when needed. Good son.

Yes I do but the media was still heavily on the left. It is more about the nature of the people. The left are soft people who are worried about gender and race cards.

Obvious lack of leadership.  In televised press briefings, hypocrite Trump doesn't follow social distancing recommended for everyone.  No one should be within 6 feet of someone else.  Instead Trump tries to be in the picture as much as possible.  He is doing more harm than good by encouraging people to ignore ways of slowing spread of infection.

I'm just wondering how deadly COVID-19 is when it cant even kill these 90+ year olds?

This is the list from a search of 100 year olds who surivived covid-19. Remember it isn't that hard because 85% of 80+ year olds survive.

    survivors list:

    104 year veteran

    103 year old woman

    101 year old man

    90 year old woman

    99 year old grandmother

    102 year old woman

    100 year old chinese man

    96 year old Denver woman

The question is....just how much over-hyping is going on by the media?

We also know the spread rate of Covid-19 isn't nearly what it has been portrayed. Covid-19 SR of 2.2 while the seasonal flu is 1.3.

Seasonal flu deaths in the US peaked at about 24K around MARCH 7TH and COVID-19 with now a full months more advantage in time is at around 9k.

Hypothetically, if we could normalize the SR'S between seasonal flu and COVID-19 the death rate difference between seasonal flu and COVID-19 would increase!

It is even ____very questionable___ to whether COVID-19 can stay suspended for even a short amount of time unlike the media blasting that the virus droplets are defying gravity for 30 minutes.

I hope everyone here at Covers realize that baseball is the next sport to cancel their season. If you listen to the doctors you can't even think about any sports till at least August and maybe later. I think that if baseball can't play at least 90 games and have fans in the seats the clubs will vote not to have a season. The NFL will play but college football is looking at an eight game season. Forget the NBA playing games in July this virus will still be killing people so they won't even try to play the playoffs. NHL and NBA will start their 2021-2022 seasons most likely in October. Horse Racing will never recover because the Kentucky Derby will not be run in September. The country and the world will be in a worldwide depression millions will be without jobs and world stock markets will collapse. Banks will stop lending unless interest rates can go to over 20 percent which will crash the housing market. Hopefully I'm talking out of my ass and all my words are BS. Let us Pray!

Don't worry! Dear Leader and Son-in-Law have it!

    Trump as Titanic Captain:

    1. "There is no Iceberg, It's a hoax"

    2. "We won’t hit the iceberg"

    3. "We barley touched the iceberg"

    4. "Nobody could have seen the iceberg"

    5. "It was the previous captains fault"

    6. "Their deaths means my plan worked"

    7. "I’m the best captain EVER!"

Pretty sure he addressed this and its the same reason why public transport is running here in AZ. Without public transport how do the health workers get to their jobs exactly? The answer isnt that car traffic is down so just drive to work..that is ok for people who have those means but MANY in NY do not own a personal car so their only means of transport is bus or subway. The dummy gov down here who has been MEGA slow at doing most everything made those comments many times. Public transport run at lower levels schedule wise is how health workers can get to and from work. A better solution would be to have only health workers allowed with a special card and nobody else but that is likely not really plausible unless you want to turn things into a police state and have an armed guard at every single stop and location...

    Excuse me, @JeromeAdamsMD
but this is NOT our "Pearl Harbor moment." Pearl Harbor was a sneak attack. We had zero warning. You, #Trump and the administration were warned as early as Jan 3. Yet in March he still called it a "democrat hoax". Shameful…People can see his lies and narcissism are killing people! The bodies are piling up on 5th Ave!
