Unfortunately, we have so many cases and deaths here in this country and throughout Europe that we can better grasp of the "fatality rate."  The sample size is quite large, now.  But your point on total deaths is spot on.  These pricks in China will hide this information

Do you realize that USA has 10x the population of Canada even though you are geographically larger? And that New York airports have the largest percentage of international flights in the world? Much easier to manage an undesirable rural country than one where everyone wants to come to. Sure we have the resources to fix this, but it will take time. 

Toronto is a good comp to New York if you compare per capita...we are doing far better than even the local experts predicted early on...Canadians tend to be more proactive, Americans like to shoot their guns in a more reactive instinct. (Although we have our own issues now with gangs smuggling guns from USA far too easily)

Yeah because its his fault people are dying over a virus made in China. This morning, I read everywhere it is also his fault 6 million lost their jobs last week. Oh how funny, the left is pleading for Trump to continue the lockdown instead of opening the economy, which he did, but then when jobs are lost, for obvious reasons, its his fault? Im sick and tired of people blaming others for their problems but never trying to fix their own. I understand this problem is bigger than just one person but how does it help anyone to yell and blame the government in a time when we all need to unite?

Left and media will always start with the premise and the conclusion that “Trump is at fault” and go from there.  

Of course, everything became Trump’s fault as soon as it quit becoming Bush’s fault.

The national shortage of N95 respirator masks can be traced back to 2009 after the H1N1 swine flu pandemic, when the Obama administration was advised to replenish a national stockpile but did not, according to reports from Bloomberg News and the Los Angeles Times.

The point was:  no matter what Trump does he gets ‘blame’; no matter what he gets no ‘credit’ by the Left/Media.  I.E. — travel ban reaction or hospital ship, economy, unemployment numbers or anything else.  If things go well — Left/Media spin it to be credited to something or someone else.  If things go poorly (no matter the reason) — Left/Media quickly blame Trump.  

Yes, whether you like him or not, Media did the same with Bush.  That was about the time you could see it so blatantly — the advent of 24-hour cable news and internet.  Not so much with Reagan or Nixon because of the ever-changing dynamics.  

Mall you have to do is contrast it with Left/Media spin with Obama or Clinton.  

You have to be level with the credit if you are freely blaming a president just because he is in office.   

The point is still the same:  they take the position ‘Trump is at fault’ and build their case from there.  Not very open-minded by the ‘open-minded’ proponents on the Left.  

That's how I look at it too, Raiders.  Like the impeachment effort.  They (media and Dems) were set on impeaching Trump from the first few days in office.  The method ?  No one knew, but they would find one, and the Ukrainian nonsense became their tool.  It's a game of connect the dots with them.  Arrive at a conclusion, then try to connect the dots from start to finish (conclusion).

The impeachment nonsense went through January. The democrats wasted time of hundreds of politicians to focus on their scam instead of worrying about the Coronavirus. On the last day of the same January, Trump banned all travel to China, the first major great step he took to try and protect our country. What did liberals do too respond to that? They called it a move of a racist where Trump was doing it just to ban off a certain type of people. What are those same stupid liberals saying now? They are asking why Trump did not do it earlier or do more. These people are scary. They are bipolar and turn back and forth just to blame a certain person. Remember this line right here and understand this when a liberal tells you Trump is a failure. Since day 1 of office, the left has tried to impeach him and every day they strive not to work with him to make this country better, but try to bring him down. That right there is pure evil. But they will look you in the face and tell you that Trump is the criminal. 

Rush, I have yet to figure out why the media is so centered on defeating Trump. I myself am not the biggest Trump supporter but I do the smart thing, I try to support the President because he is a Republican. The media is the biggest threat in our country and the people on this site are a clear picture of how dems work. They make threads on threads of bashing Trump, but if you or I go in there and say something back, they will bully us into saying we are being political and have it all wrong.  

Phillip, they just hate Trump more than they love this country.  That's how I look at it..   It is a sad state of affairs in this country when in a crisis we have today,  we can't come together as a nation, and unilaterally accept that China is the source of today's pandemic, and China acted irresponsibly from the start.  (Is Italy blaming its leaders for acting too slowly  ??  A terrible bit of irony is that they were the first and most aggressive country in Europe to close off Chinese Flights.. they still got hit hard).    

I don't know if you're familiar with Mark Levin, but may I suggest a  book , "Unfreedom of the Press" that will open your eyes on the absurdity that is the media. 

Not sure it is Trump they hate as much as simply any Republican.  Trump just happens to be less diplomatic when they attack him than previous Republicans.  They are not used to getting fired back on in return (even harder than they fired) and this really infuriates them.  

It sure the hell does infuriate them, and then they go nuts.
