To bad raiders and his democrats just voted to not pass the virus relief bill. But wait, Raider does not understand this? Why? Maybe the GOP could try to not be so obvious about just helping companies instead of the employees.

You think so? Well why are you democrats putting things in the corona bill like new windmills? new union laws? more college debt forgiveness? new voting reforms?

Really disgusting that people would put their agenda into a bill that is needed at such a horrific time. People should remember this moment forever and understand that those radical leftists are ruining peoples lives...

I agree Phillip.. the left needs to be exposed for their own selfish interests ( same day voter registration), when so many people need help and are already out of work

its honestly one of the worst things I have ever seen. They agreed on a bill, then pulled out last second. And then wrote their own bill where most of the stuff has nothing to do with the current situation. This is not even democrat vs republican, this is just stupidity. But we know this from the democrats. They enjoy seeing our country fail. They enjoy seeing people not being able to succeed. They enjoy bashing leadership that works daily to improve this country. Trump will change the future of politics. Democrats are now focused more one how you hair looks or how rude you or instead of what policy you can offer.

So true,  Phililip.. well put.  State representative Pelosi should accept a lot of the responsibility.   She's an absolute embarrassment to our state,  among many others.   paint_help

Bill Gates TED Talk 2015

The next outbreak? We're not ready

In 2014, the world avoided a global outbreak of Ebola, thanks to thousands of selfless health workers -- plus, frankly, some very good luck. In hindsight, we know what we should have done better. So, now's the time, Bill Gates suggests, to put all our good ideas into practice, from scenario planning to vaccine research to health worker training. As he says, "There's no need to panic ... but we need to get going."

Your right but this scenario is just absurd. We are in horrible times and a party decides to do this? Who can support these people?

I have a cousin who is a musician and has been supported by his parents most of his life. We had a conversation one day where I listened to his socialistic views politely. I made the statement "If we recreate the Garden of Eden today there will always be a percentage of people who won't help with the health of the crop, but will want an equal share of the harvest. What is fair about that?" Crickets. But he still supports Bernie Sanders because he still wants something for nothing. Just too afraid to admit it.

Oh of course. They throw out things like "free college", "no debt", "extra monthly income of $2000 a month". But they all fail to see it is not that easy. People need to realize nothing is one-sided. There is always a second side. I think of it as a circle. A process that never ends. But those people think free college can just be made with a snap of a finger. Those people fail to see reality and it is ruining America. What is even more crazy as that at a time when people actually need more money and benefits, the dems throw in a bunch of crap about windmills and airplane emissions which makes the bill unsignable. These people never make any sense.

It is called negotiation.

Everything the democrats tried to put in this bill was to protect the economic interest of the working class community, the ordinary American, today and TOMORROW..  Stop listening to the POWER, turn off FOX Lies, seek some truth and begin to advocate one another.

This post is NOT TRUE.  The democrats NEVER agreed on the bill WRITTEN BY the Corporate Lobby.  The republicans refused to support democratic input from the onset.  After this "sham" bill for the Corps was shared with the Democrats, the people started pushing back.  I stand with the people and fuck these non taxpaying Corporations.  From what I read here they have a lot of you right where they want you.

What do you think of the $500 billion dollar slush fund for Corporations and their cronies, with no questions asked for 6 months AND the only oversight coming from one who will have his hand in the jar?  This is in the Corporate lobby relief bill put forth by the Republicans.  You know all in the support of the American worker, the ordinary man or women!

Do you understand what the corps do? They are a major part of our economy and employ millions of Americans. American is a capitalist state. Corporations are what America is. Sorry but that is just that. So why would it not make sense to keep them running and pumping up our economy and not firing people. Because I will say this right now, this corona might be bad, but the possible 30% unemployment rate by the end of the year will ruin America for years to come. You also state that dems put stuff into the bill to only help people. HOW?? Windmills and voting reforms? JFK Arts institute budget increase? I know you Dems want corporations to end and socialism to sprout, but you guys really do not understand what will happen to this country if major corporations are struggling.

It is more important to keep people employed by funding corps than to fund the unemployment sector so that then the unemployed can get money. This is smart thinking. Quite stupid for dems to go the other way.

On Fox News Lies last night Tucker Carlson interviewed Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick

The Lt. Governor contends our senior citizens are willing to die to save our economy, save our country.

The last question Tucker asked Mr. Patrick

"There is something that would be worse than dying?

Mr. Patrick, "yeah"

So line them up, all you Trump supporters, all the Fox Lies cult, get your grandparents out there its time for the sacrifice.  Trump needs his hotels open NOW!

He did not mean literally die. And he is right. No one wants to see anyone die. But another few months of this quartine with no business the economy will be so so bad for years to come that people will literally die from it. This is something dems do not understand.
