Your Opinion on where Stephen Curry will get drafted

He's a lottery pick if he comes out this year.    

 

 

Ever heard of Ray Allen, or Michael Redd or even his father Dell.   

hell stay at davidson for at least another year or 2 then hell be probably a late first rounder and i expect to see him hang around the nba and be a decent not great player.

he could come out this year and be a lotto pick. throughout history there's been many players whose stock went through the roof after a great run in the tournament. marcus fizer.... ed o'bannon.... jerome moiso. nba busts yes but they were not 1st rd sure things until after their tournament performance.

 

curry may or may not be a bust, you never know with shooters. but to say he won't be a lotto pick is not knowing the nba draft history.

 

 

again with the size? every top program passed on his because of his "size" and now regret it. nba wouldn't make that same mistake.

 

but look at all the small fries that were drafted in the lotto (under 6'5") just in the past few years:

paul #4

deron williams #3

ben gordon #3 

devon harris #5

wade #5

hinrich #7

tj ford #8

 

 

if he were a forward or center, then yeah. but it doesnt matter if you're a guard. do you think redick, paul, hinrich, ford are bulky? they don't need to be due to their playing position.

 

if nba is sold that he'll be a star, then they'll draft him. if not, they won't. will have nothing to do with his frame or bulk.

 

 

 

Curry mark my words will not be a good NBA player and a think scouts will recognize this he will not go early.... A remarkable college talent though just I dont see him as a standout NBA player

He has 2 years to develop yet. Ask this question 2 years frm now.

he wont enter this year.  remember his dad is an nba veteran and a good voice of reason.

He will not get drafted this year & he will stay at least 1 more year at Davidson(no rush to leave family has money and he can get better staying).  This kid is only scratching the surface.  You talk about his size(6'3" & 185 lbs) but the kid has the heart which grants him 2 more inches.  I have read other post that say he would be sub-par at a big school (please dude is a starter on any ncaa squad).  He will play in the nba but will have to find his nitch like many guys do that do not have the raw size of a nba player and will have to add at least 10-15 lbs of muscle.  Now will he be an all star in the nba(only time will tell).  I compare him to a Reggie Miller with his built (miller was 6'7" though).  He is on of the puriest shooter I have seen in a while and has a very quick release.  I wish him the best of luck and hope that he does not get any injures and will be nice to see him next year in ncaa.  Still mad at the poor play call by the coach for davidson last night.  no way he should have brought the ball up the court.  They have a good point guard in Richards and yes curry would have been double teamed no matter what but drop the ball inside then (only down 2 not three) or could have got an open shot for Barr(dude can stroke it).  Maybe the coach was thinking screw the tie and lets go for the win cuz they were bound for destiny but then again I would have played for the tie. 

curry's stock will only go down. he's a sure lotto pick if he comes out this year. look at mike conley jr, he parlayed a great tournament performance to a lotto pick (4th overall).  

 

by staying he could end up like roy hibbert.... he would've been a lotto pick had he come out last season due to his performance vs. oden. but now he may not even go in the 1st rd. same with chris lofton, he's no longer a 1st rd pick.

 

the whole frame and bulk is overrated. if you're a guard with talent, they'll draft you. as it's been proven with with chris paul (6' 183lbs) and conley jr (6'1" 175lbs) and many others. even kevin durant  was drafted #2 overall because of his talent and potential even though he couldn't benchpress 175 pounds. 

  

his team will be back next year this isnt a george mason that is losing a whole team.  theyll lose a couple players but he still has a good cast coming back.  they may not make the elite 8 but theyll win there conference again almost 100% for sure.  so i would say hell have another year in the spotlight at least.

Everyone is caught up in the Curry hype....which is the EXACT reason why he should come out this year. Will he be a lottery pick this year?  Hell no. The comparison to Conley having a great tourney, which he parlayed to a high pick, but he's a true point guard. Conley is not even close to being a point guard in the NBA.

 

What Curry did was remarkable, but lets be real people, but he won't affect a stellar career in the league. At best, he'll be a good role player.

 

Kind of similar to Tyler Hansbrough. EVeryones in love with him, and talking about how he's the best player in college. Is he the best? Sure, he's the best college basketball player right now, but he's nowhere the skill level of Beasley. There's a reason why Hansbrough is not projected to be in the top 20. And he's a legit 6'9 250lbs. Its not like he's a tweener. Hansbrough could have a career like Eduardo Najera
