I don't have much time for a write up, I was actually going to sit out this game, but I found a sneaky play that has some value. So I decided to come on here and post it. I do have a big play on the next match though.
In short, Spain is going to win this game. No doubts there. The question is by how many and the amount of goals they might score. But Cape Verde is no real walkover, even though their name is unknown. They used to be a Spanish province so there is a lot of carry over there and they won 6 out of their 7 qualifying matches as well as both their most recent friendlies. Spain will FOR SURE control possession but I think that Cape Verde might actually be a bit stronger than they imagine, and they do have a tendency to playing down to their opponents.
The only play I see value in is Cape Verde scoring. You know that Spain will, I don't want to guess just how many, and I also know that Cape Verde is really strong against European opponents, winning five and drawing 7. They have also scored in their last 5 games and Spain have also given up goals in 3 out of 5 non home affairs. Plus 14 out of Spain's 17 last games produced over 2.5 goals. Sure, they might win 3-0 or 4-0, but I see little value there. My play will be a sneaky one so tread carefully...]
YES BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (SPAIN/CAPE VERDE) +150
Funny enough, just taking Cape Verde to go over 0.5 goals is +135 so there is a gap there too. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...

Cape Verde is good. Quick passing, fast change of possession and attack. Realize Spain is the real deal, but this line reflects historical biases.
Cape +2.5 goals is a lock. Alternate +1.5 also. But go heavy on the underrated and not well understood Africans. Cape might have top to bottom the fastest players on the pitch of any team here.

Damn wonder what the odds were for no score at all
they were very good and kicking myself for taking this shot. I knew down to my very bones that Spain would have troubles and play down to competition. But did NOT think they would be shut out at least to this point in the game.
I lost next to nothing on this play and had no juice so I'll happily move on and on to my BIG PLAY to recover plus pad my pockets.
Be back shortly waiting on the official lineups.

the only reason I played it was that there had not been a 0-0 draw yet, I figured we were due for one. I would have played this before the game started but I was not home to bet it.

I see this next game playing out very very similar to the game last night between Sweden and Tunisia. I see no way that Belgium does not win this game other than they have gone 1-3 all time vs. Egypt, whom the play today.
But Egypt has NEVER won a World Cup game and the Pharos will be up against it today. In my opinion, Jeremy Doku is as good a winger as there is in the world right now. The Egyptians will neither have the speed nor answer to keep him in check and he could be a sneaky good option to get on the scoresheet. Moreover, the Belgians have a fully fit Romelu Lukaku who can enter in the 2nd half if need be and give them the type of experience and goal scoring prowess they might be seeking.
The game is being played in Seattle and I think that is a real advantage for Belgium as they will not need to navigate some outlandish heat. They will also be well represented as they always are in the Cup. Belgium have also scored 4+ goals in seven of their last eight win and given that Egypt have never won, unless you see a draw, I think they will score here much like Sweden did. In their last 4 games, Belgium have thrashed Tunisia (5-0), Croatia (2-0 and in Croatia), and the United States (5-2). They also drew with Mexico in Mexico. All are better than Egypt, maybe with the exception being Tunisia.
Only one thing on my mind and not going to turn my head in any other direction. The Belgians will want to come out strong and I expect that will happen. Play at your own risk...
BELGIUM FH (+110)...BIG PLAY!!!: Egypt have only ever led one game at the World Cup. The FH line for total goals is juiced all the way to -240 for OVER . Meaning they expect a FH goal, but yet Egypt is a big underdog in the FH. This is yet another gift line imo and you could even try a TT over for Belgium for the FH
BELGIUM OVER 1.5 TT (-145): I think if they need more firepower they have lukaku on the bench and 2 goals when they have been regularly scoring more than 4 in wins is something oof very doable thing.
I'd love to smash this game more but I will sit with these two plays. A draw would be a tough result and Egypt have actually drawn quite a few games but we can still also win our plays if that happens. Etiher way, should be an entertaining game and I expect to see a lot of Mo Salah. Hoping I see even more of Jeremy Doku. As always tail or fade, good luck to all...

@Puckhandler Nice. I had the draw in the Ecuador match yesterday but lost that in the last few minutes lol. I had the under in this Spain match so glad we both hit!
I had that same draw in the last leg of a parlay paying me a bit over 10K. And I didn't wager thousands on the parlay so that should tell you it was multiple legs and losing in that final minute still doesn't sit well with me.
Also now that I posted the play I want to update some housekeeping...
YES BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (SPAIN/CAPE VERDE) +150
Happily was one of the smallest plays I made but unhappily- as I wrote above- I was gonna sit the game out entirely. That's how it goes sometimes. Hope everyone had a better AM than me, at least on the wagering front.
Updated Record:. 16-4 (BIG PLAY: 5-1)
Enjoy the game(s)...
