Your Opinion on where Stephen Curry will get drafted

Single handidly has beat these 3 teams on his own. He has been criticized for being small etc

 

In your opinion where does he get drafted?

 

top 10 pick?

middle 1st round?late 1st round?

2nd round?

first thought, 2nd round high pick, but i don't know shit about the draft. if he is the mvp of the final four, stats say he will suck.

i'd say early in the 1st round...why wouldnt the clippers take him?

Not uncommon to see smallish players like this dominate college ball for a 2 - 3 week stretch.  reminds me of Ben Gordon and others like him that are scorers in (height wise) point guard bodies.  those players always get stuck in the point guard role in the NBA.  needs a little bit more bulk too.  DEFINITELY NOT A TOP 10 PICK

Curry won't come out yet, He's still too small and not strong enough. One more year will do wonders for him! He'll bulk up and get that NBA strength he needs.

Once that happens, easy Lotto Pick. The kid is the best player day in and day out!

I'm proud to say for 2 years he has been my favorite player

he should def. stay one more year and bulk up a bit.  hes not short at all, just too skinny.  if he stays and plays just as well, he should go 1st round easily.

But he definitely needs to tone up and build some muscles.

Wasn't Kobe Bryant just as slender?

He is only a sophomore, why would he even leave early?  His Dad is Dell Curry, I'm sure they're probably loaded, I would think Stephen would get the full college experience.

I think someone takes a shot at him late first round. If Daequan Cook and Aaron Brooks are 1st rounders, I would say Curry certainly is. He'll have to look good in the pre-draft camps a year from now though.

I doubt he goes in the first round. He'll stay all four years of school though, and it depends how the next two years of his collegiate career go. He's not a prototype NBA player though, so no way he's a lottery pick.

nbadraft.net doesn't have him getting drafted at all, and I think they assume everybody comes out. He needs to get stronger if he wants to have an NBA career.

He reminds me of Eddie House with that ridiculously quick release. There is no way he can play in the NBA right now, he couldn't guard anyone.

i really like the kid but no way he's ready for the NBA, can you imagine him trying to drive on someone like Tim Duncan, Marcus Camby, etc... he would get his head swatted off his shoulders. he needs to bulk up. He needs AT LEAST 1 more year at davidson, if not 2.
 
IF he did go in the draft this year, I could see him going in the 2nd or 3rd, then spending 2 or 3 years in the D-league.... much better for him to stay at Davidson.

2009 NBA Mock Draft

Just checked and he's a projected late 1st rounder in next year's draft.

1st overall pick is projected to be some kid going to USC..Demar DeRozan. Anyone seen this kid play? They compare him to Vince Carter.

-Chase- - Demar DeRozan is one of the most electrifying scorers coming into college basketball next year, along with Tyreke Evans, who hasn't committed anywhere yet.

I read somewhere that he shot 81% from the floor this year.  He averaged 29.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 3.0 steals and shot 89% on two-point shots, 53% from the arc, and 72% from the line.

Who do you think the best NBA player out of Kansas was?  From what I know... I say Paul Pierce.

Those numbers are nuts, even for high school. This is two straight years USC got the number one overall prospect (OJ Mayo was highest rated coming into this year). Tim Floyd's doing a good job there.
