Use the Polymarket promo code COVERS and get a $20 trading bonus today, with the Polymarket US app now available to eligible mobile users. I've already claimed the offer by depositing $10 via Apple Pay, and still regularly use Polymarket.
After thoroughly testing the Polymarket US app and bonus offering, I'll explain everything you need to know about the Polymarket promo code, how to get your bonus, and more about Polymarket, which promotes itself as the world’s largest prediction market, in 2026.
Deposit $10, Get $20 Bonus
Quick verdict: My overall thoughts on the Polymarket promo code offer
The Polymarket promo code offer is one of the most valuable prediction market bonuses available right now because it gives you bankroll to test the app and place plenty of trades without committing too much of your own funds. I can get a similar amount of trading options with the $20, if not more, than on some other prediction market platforms.
I find Polymarket the fastest platform and more news-driven than many competitors like Kalshi, and the $20 trading bonus is especially useful if you want to try several markets instead of putting everything into one outcome.
I also like that Polymarket is not limited to sports. Once I’m inside the app, I can move between politics, crypto, culture, global news, and sports markets, which makes the bonus feel more flexible than a standard sportsbook-style welcome offer.
For me, the most important things are:
- Exclusive code: The current Polymarket US welcome offer uses promo code COVERS, which is separate from Polymarket US referral codes and other referral-code programs associated with Polymarket’s international products.
- Bonus value: $20 is a decent starting point for a prediction market app, especially if you want to spread your trades across multiple outcomes.
- Today's market variety: Polymarket is built for more than sports, with markets tied to politics, crypto, entertainment, economics, and breaking news. Today’s sports slate features the New York Yankees vs. Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Mariners vs. Milwaukee Brewers, and Los Angeles Angels vs. Houston Astros in MLB, with other notable matchups including the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Tampa Bay Rays and Atlanta Braves vs. Chicago White Sox. Check Polymarket for the latest available contracts, as markets can change throughout the day.
- Mobile-first access: The U.S. app is now available on iOS and Android, but the best signup path is still through your mobile device.
- Best fit: I like this offer most for users who want a fast-moving prediction market app with strong liquidity and plenty of non-sports markets.

What’s the best Polymarket bonus?
The best Polymarket bonus right now is the Deposit $10, Get $20 Bonus available with our exclusive Polymarket promo code COVERS.
I like this offer because it gave me a useful starting bankroll without making the signup process feel heavy. I only needed to deposit $10 to qualify for the $20 bonus, which made it easy to test Polymarket’s core experience before committing more of my own money.
For me, the value is not just the headline bonus amount. It is the flexibility. I can use the bonus to explore different types of markets, like sports, politics, crypto, culture, global news, or major economic events, instead of being locked into one sportsbook-style promo or one specific bet type.
My recommendation is that the Polymarket welcome bonus is ideal for learning how prediction markets work, trying a few real-world event contracts, and getting comfortable with “Yes” or “No” trading before scaling up.
Polymarket clicked for me once I stopped treating it like a sportsbook with different odds. The main market feed feels more like a live newsroom with prices attached: sports, politics, crypto, culture, and breaking news all fighting for attention. That makes the bonus more useful because I’m not forced into one bet; I can actually shop the board and find a market I understand.
Polymarket promo code history
Older Polymarket partner promotions included a Deposit $20, Get $50 Bonus during July 2026, which is why users may still see $50 Polymarket promo references in search results. Partner offers could overlap and vary by campaign, so there was not necessarily one platform-wide date when every $50 promotion changed to the current offer. The current COVERS promotion is Deposit $10, Get $20 Bonus.
| Offer period | Polymarket welcome offer | Status |
|---|---|---|
| August 2026 | Deposit $10, Get $20 Bonus | Current COVERS offer |
| July 2026 | Deposit $20, Get $50 Bonus | Older partner offer confirmed active during July 2026 |
If you’re searching for a Polymarket $50 promo code, that older offer is not the current COVERS promotion. The current new-user offer is Deposit $10, Get $20 Bonus with promo code COVERS. Always check the current campaign terms because Polymarket partner promotions can vary.

Polymarket promo code terms and conditions
My first step to claiming the Polymarket welcome bonus was entering the exclusive Polymarket promo code COVERS when prompted at sign-up. Once I added the code, the rest of the registration process took under five minutes, and the bonus requirements were easy to follow.
You only need to deposit $10 to unlock the $20 bonus, which makes this one of the lower-commitment offers in the prediction market space. After my deposit was available, I had enough flexibility to test a few different markets instead of putting everything into one trade.
Once Polymarket US confirmed that the deposit satisfied the applicable campaign requirements, the bonus funds were credited to my account and ready to use as trading collateral. That gave me a useful starting bankroll to explore Polymarket’s sports, politics, crypto, culture, and breaking news markets without risking much of my own money upfront.
Eligibility: This offer is available to new Polymarket users who meet the minimum age requirement and are located in a jurisdiction where Polymarket is authorized to operate.
Promo codes: I entered the Polymarket promo code COVERS during registration to unlock the welcome offer.
Minimum deposits: A minimum deposit of $10 is required to qualify for the $20 reward.
Qualifying action: The current deposit incentive is based on making the applicable qualifying deposit. Polymarket US currently lists Campaign A as deposit at least $10 and receive $20. A separate qualifying trade is not listed as a condition for receiving the deposit incentive credit.
Trading requirements: Polymarket US does not list a 1x playthrough requirement for the current Deposit Incentive Program. Instead, incentive funds must be used as trading collateral before they can be withdrawn and may become withdrawable after they are released through position settlement or liquidation.
Market restrictions: The current public Deposit Incentive Program documentation does not list category-specific market exclusions. Applicable campaign terms and Polymarket US rules still apply.
Expiry date: No fixed end date is listed in the current public campaign details. Polymarket US may modify, suspend, or terminate an incentive campaign on a prospective basis.
Withdrawals: Incentive funds cannot be withdrawn immediately. They must first be used as trading collateral and released through position settlement or liquidation before they may become withdrawable. I recommend checking the bonus status in your account before requesting a withdrawal. It took me just over 4 hours to receive my first withdrawal.
I’d use the $20 bonus to test a few NFL futures markets without risking my own deposit. For example, I could trade on the Ravens to win the AFC, or the Rams to win the 2027 Super Bowl. If one of my predictions hits, the profit is added to my account balance. If it misses, I’ve used the promotional funds to learn how Polymarket works instead of losing my own money.
How to claim the bonus on Polymarket?
Read my step-by-step guide below to learn how to claim and use the Polymarket promo code first-time welcome bonus today:
Register
To begin, visit the Polymarket US app via our link, click the 'Sign Up' button, and enter the Polymarket promo code COVERS. I registered using my Google account in literally 30 seconds. Polymarket US also supports signup with an Apple ID.
Polymarket US requires users to choose a username, provide their full name, date of birth, and residential address, and complete identity verification before depositing funds or trading. Most users are verified automatically, although Polymarket may request a government-issued ID and selfie check if additional KYC verification is needed.
Deposit funds
The next step is to add funds to start trading. Once my Polymarket US account was verified, I could open the deposit section and choose from the available U.S. funding methods, which currently include debit card, bank transfer (ACH), and wire transfer.
With my account live, I clicked the deposit button, selected my payment method, and confirmed the payment. I had to deposit at least $10 to qualify for the Polymarket first-time trading bonus.
Start trading
Next, I can start trading event contracts on sports, politics, economics, world news, pop culture, award shows, and more.
Now it was time to choose whichever event I prefer, select my outcome, add the amount I want to trade, and confirm the transaction. My options include 'LeBron James next team' and 'Who will be the next President of the United States?' I can monitor the event and sell my position before settlement if I want to exit early, or I can wait for the market to be resolved.
Withdraw earnings
Once my funds were eligible for withdrawal, I went to the withdrawal section of my Polymarket US account, entered the amount I wanted to withdraw, and confirmed the request. Unlike the international Polymarket product, Polymarket US does not require users to enter a crypto wallet address for a standard withdrawal.
Polymarket US generally requires withdrawals to return to the same funding source used for the original deposit. Deposited funds also need to fully clear before they can be withdrawn, even if Polymarket has already made them available as buying power. If multiple funding methods were used, Polymarket US applies first-in, first-out withdrawal rules.

Polymarket politics and referendum markets
Politics is still Polymarket’s heavyweight division. These markets move with polling, headlines, speeches, court rulings, and viral moments, which makes the app feel more like a live sentiment board than a standard betting product. I use these markets to read the room first, then decide whether the price is worth trading.

Is Polymarket legal?
Yes, Polymarket is legal and has returned to the U.S. market after being fined and barred in 2022 for operating without registration. Polymarket resolved its regulatory issues by acquiring QCEX, whose affiliate QCX LLC is a licensed derivatives exchange. Because QCX LLC is officially registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Polymarket can operate its U.S. prediction market under federal regulatory oversight.
Polymarket is available to eligible users in many U.S. jurisdictions, offering New York prediction markets, California prediction markets, Texas prediction markets, Georgia prediction markets, and Florida prediction markets, among others. Availability and promotional eligibility can vary by jurisdiction, so users should confirm their eligibility before signing up or trading. Polymarket is not subject to the same state-by-state licensing framework that applies to online sports betting apps and social or sweepstakes casinos.
Where is the Polymarket promo available?
Polymarket promo eligibility is not the same as general platform availability. As of Aug. 20, 2026, current partner sources agree that the welcome offer is unavailable in Arizona, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, and Ohio. Current partner sources conflict on New Jersey, with some listing it as eligible and others listing it as excluded. Because promotional eligibility can vary by campaign and change over time, check the current COVERS offer terms and your location before signing up.
| Promo availability | Jurisdictions | Last checked |
|---|---|---|
| Not available | Arizona, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Ohio | Aug. 20, 2026 |
| Conflicting partner reporting | New Jersey | Aug. 20, 2026 |
| Available | Other supported U.S. jurisdictions, subject to current COVERS offer terms, location, and eligibility | Aug. 20, 2026 |
- Regulatory compliance: Polymarket is a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and is therefore regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), which has authority over federal trading laws.
- Auditing and security: Polymarket holds SOC 2 Type II compliance and uses SSL encryption, protecting your data.
Christian Stringer, Prediction Markets Editor
What is Polymarket?
Polymarket U.S. is a CFTC-regulated Designated Contract Market (DCM) operated by QCX LLC, where real-world events are turned into tradable markets. In short, prediction market apps like Polymarket let me trade event contracts based on whether a real-world outcome will occur.
Instead of betting against an oddsmaker, I can buy or sell contracts whose prices are determined by activity among market participants. Prices change as supply, demand, and new information affect what traders are willing to pay. A contract that ultimately settles in my favor pays according to the market’s settlement rules, but I can also sell a position before resolution if I want to exit earlier.
Topics range widely, from politics to tech, culture, sport, and more. I have to decide when to enter or exit positions, assessing the market price based on current information and my own personal research.
What I like about the Polymarket promo code
Exclusive promo code
Enter our exclusive Polymarket bonus code 'COVERS' during registration to access the current COVERS welcome offer. The promo code applies to Polymarket’s current new-user promotion and is separate from access to the U.S. app.
Low barrier to entry
I only need to deposit $10 to unlock the full $20 trading bonus, which keeps my upfront risk low. For a first-time user who wants to test the app without overcommitting, the promo makes it much easier to justify.
Simple U.S. funding
Polymarket US lets me fund my account through the app with a debit card or bank transfer (ACH), so claiming the offer feels more familiar than a crypto-first onboarding flow. That simplicity lowers the friction for casual users who just want to get started quickly.
Flexible trading mechanics
I’m not locked into a position until the market settles. Polymarket US lets me buy or sell at any point before settlement, giving me greater control to lock in gains, cut losses, or react to new information.
What I don't like about the Polymarket promo code
The Polymarket promo code does have some drawbacks:
Mobile-only redemption
The Polymarket sign-up bonus is framed as a mobile-only promo, so desktop users can hit friction immediately. I don’t love having to switch devices just to activate a welcome offer.
Modest bonus ceiling
The total upside is capped at $20 in trading bonus funds. That’s fine for casual users and first-timers, but it’s not a huge boost to my bankroll if I’m looking for a more aggressive welcome offer.
Depositing may confuse newbies
Polymarket US supports familiar funding methods such as debit cards and bank transfers (ACH), but first-time prediction-market users may still need a moment to understand when deposited funds are available to trade and when they have fully cleared for withdrawal. Polymarket US provides deposit guidance in its Help Center if you need more detail on the funding process.
Mobile signup friction
The current Polymarket welcome offer is designed around the mobile signup flow, so desktop users may need to switch to a mobile device to claim it. The COVERS promo code applies to the new-user promotion, but it does not provide special access to or bypass any Polymarket waitlist.
Polymarket platform review
Polymarket promotes itself as 'the world’s largest prediction market,' and when I see the sheer amount of opportunities, it's truly staggering. U.S. users access a separate federally regulated Polymarket US exchange where they can trade event contracts tied to sports, politics, economics, culture, news, and other real-world outcomes. The basic concept is straightforward: market participants buy and sell contracts whose prices change as supply, demand, and new information affect expectations.
Polymarket is designed for individuals who wish to trade on real-world events. Its user base includes traders, analysts, and people who closely follow sports, politics, economics, global affairs, and cultural events. I love that trending topics are converted into tradable contracts, making them accessible to anyone interested in following how market expectations change around current events. The Polymarket promo code 'COVERS' provides access to the current COVERS new-user promotion.

"Polymarket is actually pretty good, especially because they give you bonus cash to start betting with. You can use that bonus to place bets, grow it if you make good predictions, and then withdraw the money, which is a big plus. The platform is easy to use and feels legit. That said, it can be really stressful, especially when a bet is about to lose, and you’re watching your money disappear. It’s exciting, but definitely not for people who get stressed or anxious really easily. Overall, it’s a good opportunity, but it’s emotionally intense."
- Alex, App Store user
"Very good app!!! I like the breakdown of the individual categories and the graphs are a very nice touch!!!"
- Paul Miele, Trustpilot user
18+ Only. Restrictions and eligibility requirements apply. Not available in all jurisdictions. Trading is risky. 100% loss can occur. See https://polymarket.com/tos for more information. The Polymarket US App serves as an independent software provider and affiliate of Polymarket US and Polymarket Clearing, the CFTC-regulated exchange and clearing organization.
Polymarket key features
Polymarket is brimming with neat features. Here are some of my personal favorites:
Yes/No Events Contracts
Every market is based on a simple yes-or-no question, making it easy to trade regardless of your experience level.
Real-Time Pricing
Prices fluctuate based on supply and demand, reflecting real-time market activity as traders react to news and events.
Maker and Taker Fee Structure
Polymarket US applies a trading-fee schedule across the exchange. Fees vary with the contract price and whether an order adds or removes liquidity. Taker fees are highest around the $0.50 price point, while qualifying maker orders can receive rebates when they execute.
Liquidity Rewards Program
Polymarket US can reward qualifying resting limit orders through its Liquidity Incentive Program. Eligible orders may contribute toward liquidity rewards whether they ultimately fill or not, with reward pools and program parameters varying by market.
Polymarket Dashboard
Customize your Dashboard to track key markets you're monitoring.
Polymarket social media integration
Polymarket is the official prediction market partner of X (formerly Twitter). The partnership combines Polymarket prediction data with information from X, including relevant posts and Grok-powered context around market moves. That makes the integration more useful for following the news and information driving a market, rather than serving as a separate Polymarket US promo or referral feature.

Polymarket app review
For U.S. users, Polymarket’s regulated trading experience is available through the Polymarket US mobile app on iOS and Android. Polymarket.com is a separate international product, so I would not treat the website and U.S. app as interchangeable trading platforms.
Using the U.S. app was straightforward and quick during my testing. I can enable push notifications, check price changes, manage positions, and move between markets from my phone. For eligible U.S. users, the mobile app is the relevant Polymarket trading experience.
🍎 Polymarket iOS app
The Polymarket app has a 4.6/5 rating based on more than 53,000 ratings. The Polymarket app requires iOS 18.0 or later. Polymarket is forthcoming about the specific data used to track you, including identifiers and usage data.

🤖 Polymarket Android app
The Polymarket Android app currently has a 3.7/5 rating on the Google Play Store, based on about 9,300 user reviews, with more than 1 million downloads. Google Play lists its most recent update as Aug. 10, 2026. I'll continue to monitor this closely as the Polymarket mobile app receives upgrades.
📱 Polymarket app design
Polymarket features a clean, fast, and purpose-built design optimized entirely for trading. By stripping away standard sportsbook clutter, the platform offers a streamlined "Yes/No" contract interface that is immediately intuitive for users. One standout feature that I really like is its real-time pricing and liquidity display, which makes shifts in market sentiment instantly visible and actionable. I took full advantage of this when placing my 2027 NFL winner trade.
I found the navigation frictionless, allowing me to access trending markets, categories, and open positions in just a few taps.
The U.S. app also supports real-time entry and exit from positions as markets move, making it easier to react to new information without waiting for an event to resolve.
📈 Polymarket app improvements
I've noticed Polymarket consistently rolls out app updates aimed at improving the trading experience. Recent releases have arrived frequently, which is useful on a platform where market discovery, order placement, notifications, and real-time price movement all matter.
The Blockratize Inc. Polymarket iOS app is currently listed at 712 MB, with Version 2.7.8 listed as the latest release as of Aug. 20, 2026. App size, version numbers, ratings, and review counts can change frequently as Polymarket releases new updates.
This commitment to constant improvement has made Polymarket one of the best apps, like Kalshi. You can also read our guide, which highlights apps like Polymarket, to see how other prediction market apps compare in 2026.
What markets can you trade with the Polymarket code?
Polymarket offers me markets on a wide range of real-world events. It extends beyond sports to encompass trending news, politics, cryptocurrency, geopolitics, technology, culture, global events, and more.
I appreciate that sports event trading is available for all major sports and leagues, including basketball (NBA and NCAA March Madness), football (NFL, NCAAF), hockey (NHL), F1, tennis, soccer (including English Premier League, La Liga, MLS, and Champions League), and golf. There are plenty of niche and international sports available, with consistent additions of new betting markets.
I noticed Polymarket has also moved into esports through a recent partnership with tournament organizer BLAST, which integrates its markets directly into broadcasts via prediction-focused segments, live desk references, stream branding, and on-site fan activations.
Polymarket is the official Prediction market exchange partner of the MLB. Starting this 2026 season, Polymarket has exclusive access to MLB product, including official league data from Sportradar. Polymarket will also work to restrict MLB betting markets that pose integrity risks, such as player pitch counts.

Polymarket is now the Bundesliga's official prediction market partner in the U.S., meaning users will be able to trade on Bundesliga markets starting in August.
Polymarket NFL prediction markets
Polymarket stands out as one of the best NFL prediction market sites. NFL markets give me a cleaner way to compare public sentiment across futures, division races, awards, and team outcomes without scrolling through a sportsbook lobby. I’d use my bonus here if I wanted to test the app on markets I already follow closely:

Polymarket trading markets
Outside of sports, politics is amongst the markets with the most handle, especially in the lead-up to U.S. presidential races. Other options include:
Culture (celebrities, music, movies, awards shows like the Oscars, review ratings, TV, video games)
Example: What will be the highest-grossing movie of 2026?
Crypto (Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin, hourly values, Ethereum)
Example: Will Bitcoin be above $120,000 on a certain date?
Climate (weather, temperature, climate change, natural disasters)
Economics (interest rates, inflation, employment, consumer spending, energy)
Example: Will there be a U.S. recession in 2026? What will be the Fed decision in September?
Companies (Elon Musk, CEOs, layoffs, product launches)
Business Financials (NASDAQ, currency, treasuries)
Tech & Science (AI, space, energy, academic papers)
Example: What will be the largest company at the end of the month?
Health (disease spread, COVID)
World (foreign economies, international politics)
Polymarket live event trading
Prices on Polymarket fluctuate constantly because traders set them and adjust accordingly. As soon as new information becomes available, traders react to the news, whether by buying or selling more positions or by adjusting contracts to reflect the shift. This creates a live market where users don't have to wait until the event is officially resolved to profit. They can enter a position early and exit if the price moves in their favor.
Polymarket player props
Polymarket recently launched sports player props, offering markets where users can trade on individual player performances in NBA prediction markets, rather than overall game results. Player props may include any yards, points, touchdowns, strikeouts, goals, or other stat-based achievements specific to each sport. As with all Polymarket contracts, player props are Yes/No markets where prices indicate the market's probability for each outcome.
Strategies for profitable trading on Polymarket
When I trade on Polymarket, I try to stick to a strategy instead of chasing every market that catches my eye. These are the habits I use to make more informed decisions and manage my risk.
Analyze data
Before I take a position, I spend a few minutes reading the latest news and checking reliable sources. I've found my best trades come from markets I already understand, not the ones that simply look interesting at first glance.
Diversify your trades
I avoid putting my entire balance into a single market. Instead, I spread my trades across different categories so one incorrect prediction doesn't ruin my entire session.
Manage my exposure
I start with smaller positions until I'm comfortable with how a market behaves. If a trade moves against me, I'd rather limit my losses early than hope the market suddenly turns in my favor.
Monitor liquidity
Before placing a trade, I check how active the market is. I prefer markets with plenty of buyers and sellers because they're usually easier to enter and exit at a fair price.
Stay disciplined and avoid emotional decisions
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is not to let emotion drive my decisions. I don't chase losses or get carried away after a winning trade. Instead, I stick to my plan, trust my research, and try to stay disciplined even when markets become volatile.
Polymarket Combos
Combos are where Polymarket starts to feel more advanced. I think of them as a multi-leg prediction, but they're not quite like a sportsbook parlay because the mechanics are different. Every leg still needs to go your way, so there's still an inherent risk.
Update — Aug. 19, 2026: Polymarket U.S. is beta testing combo trades ahead of the 2026 football season. The feature allows traders to combine multiple sports outcomes into one position, bringing a parlay-style experience to Polymarket’s prediction market platform.
I see Polymarket Combos as a product with a lot of upside, but the current experience feels more confusing than it should. My coworker put it bluntly: “Combos are an awful experience. No hyperbole, top 5-10 worst betting product experience for me the last 18 years.” I think that reaction is important, not because the product is doomed, but because it shows how much friction exists today for even experienced bettors.
At the same time, I’m optimistic about the opportunity. The volume is already there on-site, which tells me users are interested despite the complexity. With better education, clearer content, and calculator tools that explain pricing, payout, probability, and risk, Polymarket Combos could become a much more trusted and engaging product. If someone with nearly two decades of betting experience can question how “scammy” these feel at first glance, then newer users will almost certainly need more guidance.
You can actually see the odds changing in real-time for my Polymarket Combo in the screenshot below:

Key features and opportunities:
- Allows users to combine multiple market outcomes into one position.
- Creates more strategic, higher-upside ways to express a view.
- Current UX can feel confusing or intimidating, especially around pricing and payouts.
- Strong need for educational content, examples, and step-by-step explainers.
- Calculator tools could help users understand implied probability, expected return, and risk.
- Better transparency could make Combos feel more credible, approachable, and trustworthy.
What are Polymarket Perps?
Polymarket Perps are part of Polymarket’s separate international product, not Polymarket US. They are available through Polymarket.com, which operates independently from the CFTC-regulated Polymarket US exchange discussed throughout this promo page. The Polymarket US promo code COVERS and the U.S. welcome offer do not apply to Perps.
Polymarket Perps are worth separating from standard yes-or-no event contracts because they feel closer to an active trading product than a prediction market position tied to one defined outcome. Perps let eligible international users take long or short positions on market price movements, with Polymarket currently advertising leverage of up to 20x.
That makes them interesting, but also substantially more advanced. I would not treat Polymarket Perps the same way I treat a championship futures market, an election market, or a one-off sports outcome. With a standard event contract, I’m trading a position tied to a defined event and settlement criteria. With Perps, the focus is continuous price movement, timing entries and exits, and managing the additional risks that come with leveraged trading.
For me, the key things to know are:
- They are an international Polymarket product: Perps are offered through the separate Polymarket.com platform and should not be confused with the regulated Polymarket US app or its event-contract promotions.
- They are more advanced than standard Polymarket markets: Perps are better suited to users who already understand active trading, long and short positions, leverage, and risk management.
- They fit Polymarket’s international crypto-native product: This is where the international Polymarket platform feels more like an active trading platform than a straightforward event-contract exchange.
- They require more risk awareness: Polymarket currently advertises leverage of up to 20x on Perps, so losses can develop quickly. I would not treat them like a casual promo-code play.
- Perps use a separate referral-code flow: Polymarket currently asks eligible users to enter a referral code to activate Perps, while users without one can join a waitlist. Those Perps codes are separate from the Polymarket US promo code COVERS and from Polymarket US username-based referral codes.
My take: Polymarket Perps may appeal to experienced international traders who want more advanced exposure to price movements, but they should not be presented as the next step for someone using the Polymarket US welcome offer. For eligible U.S. users, the relevant product on this page remains the separate Polymarket US exchange and its standard event contracts.
Does Polymarket have a referral program?
Yes. Polymarket US has a Refer-A-Friend Incentive Program for existing users. Participants share their unique referral code, which is their Polymarket US username. If a new user creates an account using that code and makes a qualifying deposit of at least $10, both the referring user and the referred user can receive a $25 incentive credit. Each participant is currently limited to 14 friend referrals.
Polymarket also operates a separate referral program for its international Polymarket.com product. That program uses personal referral links rather than the username-based referral codes used by Polymarket US. Referrers must reach $10,000 in lifetime trading volume before they can begin earning referral rewards, after which they can earn 10% of net fees generated by direct referrals and 5% of net fees generated by indirect referrals. These terms do not apply to the separate Polymarket US Refer-A-Friend program described above.
Does Polymarket give you $10?
No. The $10 figure is the qualifying deposit for the current Polymarket US Refer-A-Friend program, not the referral reward. Under the current program, the referring user and eligible new user can each receive a $25 incentive credit after the referral requirements are met.
Polymarket US uses a participant’s username as the referral code for its Refer-A-Friend program. This is separate from the COVERS promo code used for Polymarket’s current new-user welcome offer. For comparison, our Kalshi referral code guide explains how another prediction-market referral program works.
What is the Polymarket Referral Code?
Polymarket US does have referral codes, but they are separate from the current welcome promo code. Under the Refer-A-Friend Incentive Program, an existing user’s Polymarket US username serves as their unique referral code. An eligible new user can enter that username when creating an account and make a qualifying deposit of at least $10, after which both participants can receive a $25 incentive credit. The code COVERS is the separate Polymarket promo code for the current new-user welcome offer.
Do Polymarket promo codes from Reddit work?
Community code check, Aug. 20, 2026: Covers reviewed recent Polymarket promo and referral codes being shared on Reddit and other community pages. We found posts still advertising older $50 welcome offers, personal referral usernames, and other supposed promo codes, but we could not verify another community-shared code through current official Polymarket US materials as a valid welcome-promo code.
It is important to distinguish these offers. Polymarket US referral codes are existing users’ usernames and belong to the separate Refer-A-Friend program. Some community posts also share referral codes for Polymarket Perps, which is part of Polymarket’s separate international product and uses codes to activate Perps access. Neither should be confused with the current Polymarket US welcome promo code COVERS.
Polymarket rewards and rebates: maker, taker, and liquidity programs
The welcome bonus is the front door, but existing Polymarket US users have other ways to earn value after the sign-up promotion. The main programs to understand are maker rebates, taker rebates, liquidity incentives, and the Refer-A-Friend program.
These rewards work differently from the one-time welcome bonus. Some are tied to how an order is placed, while others depend on trading volume or providing liquidity. They are generally more relevant to active users than someone making their first few trades.
Here’s how the current Polymarket US rewards work:
- Maker rebates: Traders who place an order that rests on the order book and is later matched can receive a maker rebate when the trade fills. The amount depends on the contract price and number of contracts. For example, Polymarket’s current fee schedule shows that the maker side of a 100-contract trade at $0.50 receives a rebate of about $0.31.
- Taker rebates: High-volume traders can earn back a percentage of their taker fees based on their taker volume during the previous calendar month. Current Polymarket US tiers are 10% for $250,000 to $999,999 in monthly taker volume, 25% for $1 million to $9,999,999, and 50% for $10 million or more. Rebates are paid weekly. As a simple example, a trader in the 10% tier who generates $100 in eligible taker fees would receive a $10 rebate.
- Liquidity rewards: Polymarket US also operates a Liquidity Incentive Program that rewards qualifying resting limit orders. Orders are scored based partly on their size and how close they are to the best available price, and each program’s reward pool is distributed proportionally based on those scores. A qualifying resting order can contribute toward liquidity rewards even if it does not ultimately fill. Reward pools and eligibility parameters vary by market and can change.
- Refer-A-Friend rewards: Existing Polymarket US users can also share their username as a referral code. Under the current Refer-A-Friend Incentive Program, an eligible new user who signs up with that code and makes a qualifying deposit of at least $10 can trigger a $25 incentive credit for both the new user and the referrer. Each participant is currently limited to 14 friend referrals.
What about Polymarket holding rewards? Polymarket documents a Holding Rewards program for its international product, but holding rewards are not currently listed among the Polymarket US incentive programs. For that reason, I do not count holding rewards as an available Polymarket US reward here.
For most casual users, maker, taker, and liquidity incentives should not be the main reason to sign up. Maker rebates and liquidity rewards become more relevant when you understand limit orders and the order book, while the taker rebate thresholds are designed for substantially higher-volume traders.
Here's a snapshot of what the Rewards tab looks like at the moment, with esports featured:

Polymarket trading odds and fees
Polymarket shows odds through market prices that are determined by activity among traders rather than fixed by the platform like traditional sportsbook odds.
Each standard event contract has two sides, ‘Yes’ and ‘No,’ and traders submit orders at the prices they are willing to buy or sell. Contract prices can range from $0.01 to $0.99 and move as supply, demand, and new information affect the market.
I can use the order book to compare the prices buyers are bidding with the prices sellers are asking. A contract price is commonly read as the market’s implied probability of an outcome, but liquidity and the spread between available bids and asks can affect the price at which I can actually enter or exit a position.
When a standard market resolves, winning contracts settle at $1 each and losing contracts settle at $0. Some markets can have alternative settlement terms, so I always check the individual market rules before trading. Unlike a sportsbook, Polymarket’s prices come from exchange activity rather than house-set fixed odds, although Polymarket US does charge trading fees.
Polymarket US’s current fee schedule has applied exchange-wide since July 1, 2026. Taker fees and maker rebates are calculated based on the number of contracts and the contract price, with the largest fee impact around the $0.50 price point. For example, the current schedule shows a $1.50 taker fee for 100 contracts traded at $0.50, while the maker side receives a rebate of about $0.31. Fees and rebates become smaller as prices move closer to $0.01 or $0.99, and qualifying high-volume takers may also receive additional rebates.
Polymarket customer service
Polymarket US customer support can be reached through the in-app chat or by email at support@polymarket.us. I recently contacted Polymarket support to clarify a promotion and received a detailed response within 10 minutes. That was my experience, although response times can vary depending on the issue and support volume.
The in-app chat is the most convenient option if I am already signed in and need help with my Polymarket US account. For questions that are easier to explain by email, Polymarket US also lists support@polymarket.us as its general support address.
Polymarket US does not currently list a general customer-support phone number in its official support documentation. I would use the in-app chat or official Polymarket US support email rather than relying on community channels for account-specific questions.

Polymarket Help Center
The Help Center is valuable because Polymarket US still has more moving parts than a normal sportsbook. I didn’t find the app impossible, but account verification, deposits, withdrawals, trading mechanics, market rules, fees, and incentive programs are all areas where new users may want additional guidance. For account-specific help, Polymarket US directs users to its in-app chat or support@polymarket.us.
Here's what the Polymarket Help Center looks like on desktop:

Polymarket payment methods
Polymarket US lets me fund my account with familiar U.S. payment methods rather than requiring a crypto wallet. Its current retail documentation lists debit card, bank transfer (ACH), and wire transfer as the primary ways to fund an account. Polymarket’s U.S. payment infrastructure also supports Apple Pay in eligible app flows.
Debit card and ACH deposits may be made available as buying power while they are still processing, which means I may be able to trade before the underlying deposit has fully cleared. However, those funds generally need to finish clearing before they can be withdrawn. Polymarket US currently says debit-card and ACH deposits typically take 3–4 business days to fully clear, while wire transfers typically take one business day.
For card funding, Polymarket US supports debit cards rather than the crypto-first MoonPay flow used by the separate international product. Users should make sure any payment method they use is held in their own name. If you want more general information about card payments, Covers also has guides to Visa and Mastercard payment options.

*Apple Pay is supported by Polymarket US payment infrastructure, but availability can depend on the app funding flow and account.
Polymarket US deposit clearing and withdrawals
One detail I keep in mind is that seeing funds in my buying power does not necessarily mean the underlying deposit has fully cleared. Polymarket US can make debit-card and ACH deposits available for trading while they are still processing, but funds in flight cannot be withdrawn until the deposit clears.
Withdrawals generally return to the same payment method used for the original deposit rather than being redirected to a new account or crypto wallet. If I use more than one funding source, Polymarket US applies first-in, first-out (FIFO) rules, meaning withdrawals are allocated back to funding sources in the order the deposits were made.
How does Polymarket compare to traditional sports betting?
Prediction markets are similar to financial exchanges, where users trade contracts whose prices fluctuate based on the public's perception of an event's likelihood. Sports betting is a wager placed against odds set by a sportsbook. Once the bet is locked in, both the stake and odds are fixed, and you’re betting directly against the house.
In the U.S., this is considered gambling and regulated by each state. However, prediction markets are subject to federal oversight because they are regulated as exchanges rather than gambling. You'll find many similarities between Polymarket and a traditional sportsbook, along with a bunch of 'big-picture' betting opportunities. Residents in the Golden State, for example, can trade California prediction markets on sports, despite there being no legal sports betting.
Polymarket trading limits and liquidity
Polymarket doesn’t have a maximum limit for contracts. You can technically trade as much as you want, as the platform is designed to match buyers and sellers at any price.
The real limit comes with liquidity, which refers to the number of people willing to buy or sell at a given price. In a busy market, you can usually place larger trades without moving the price too much. But in a less active market with fewer offers, even a small trade can significantly change the odds. That’s why it’s important to check the order book first.
