Social gaming operator Splash Sports is getting into prediction markets.
Key Takeaways
- Splash Sports will offer its 2 million users access to prediction markets later this summer.
- Polymarket is sponsoring a $21-million NFL survivor pool.
- The trading platform will be integrated through a separate tab on Splash’s app.
The company announced a partnership Thursday that will integrate Polymarket’s federally registered trading platform to create Splash Market, which is expected to launch in July or August.
The new trading product will be a standalone tab in the Splash app and give 2 million active users access to prediction markets.
"Polymarket helped bring prediction markets to the mainstream with their mobile-first product during the 2024 election, becoming the prediction market of record globally," said TJ Ross, cofounder and co-CEO of Splash Sports. "We're doing the same for the survivor format. For decades, the biggest contest in this category required a flight to Las Vegas, a hotel, and a paid proxy. Now, anyone with a phone in 35+ states (plus Canada) can play in the largest survivor contest in history."
Splash plans to use the partnership to expand its survivor contests nationwide, including a $21-million guaranteed NFL competition sponsored by Polymarket this season. This will compete directly with the $20-million guaranteed Circa Survivor, run by the popular sportsbook and casino-hotel.

Social experiment
Splash Sports is currently operating in more than 30 U.S. states and Canada. Polymarket's products are available nationwide through a federally regulated framework, though certain markets may face state-specific restrictions.
Splash acquired RunYourPool and FootballOfficePool in late 2021 to offer NFL, NBA, MLB, and other peer-to-peer, real-money contests. Splash’s products include daily fantasy, pick’em and tier games, and commissioner-led competitions for big events, like March Madness, the World Cup, and the Masters. Some survivor contests are sponsored by celebrities and influencers.
"The next phase of sports engagement will be defined by the gamification of live events," said Shayne Coplan, Founder and CEO of Polymarket. "Splash has built one of the largest skill-based social sports communities in the United States, and I’ve personally been a user of their legacy brand for many years. We believe that partnering with them for the biggest survivor contest in history is the perfect way to bring prediction markets to NFL fans at scale."
Burgeoning platform
Polymarket continues to expand its reach into the sports world. It also powers products for other fantasy operators, including PrizePicks and Betr, the latter of which announced a deal with the exchange in March.
Polymarket also introduced sports event contracts on popular leagues and events, including the NFL, NBA, and World Cup, when it returned to the U.S. in late 2025 after exiting in 2022 due to regulatory issues. Polymarket also has agreements and marketing partnerships with organizations that include the NHL, MLB, and UFC.
