These Sky vs. Fever games have lost their edge, but don't tell that to Caitlin Clark. Our WNBA expert sizes up Indiana's star guard and likes Clark to crash the glass against a smaller Chicago backcourt.

A battle between the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky used to be must-see TV in the WNBA, but with Angel Reese in Atlanta and Chicago falling to the bottom of the standings, Indiana is a hefty 10-point home favorite for this Commissioner’s Cup matchup.

While this pairing lacks its usual drama, there’s plenty to go around with Caitlin Clark on the court. Her prickly demeanor has the media throwing gas on the smallest of fires.

My Sky vs. Fever predictions cut through all that crap and deliver a double dose of Clark WNBA picks for June 11.

Sky vs Fever prediction

Sky vs Fever best bet: Caitlin Clark Over 4.5 rebounds (+120)

Caitlin Clark is logging her usual minutes after a bad back trimmed floor time last month.

Her rebounding soared in those recent outings, snatching seven boards in each of the first two games in June before grabbing only three rebounds versus Washington on Monday.

That’s providing extra pop on the Over 4.5 boards versus the Chicago Sky

Chicago is missing size and toughness in the backcourt and marches out a guard rotation that tops out at 5-foot-10.

The Sky are the worst rebounding team, and the 6-foot Clark is projected for 5.6 rebounds, which should have the Over asking around -160.

Covers COVERS INTEL: The Sky sit dead last in rebound rate and allow foes to record almost 40 rebounds per game. Funny enough, it’s opposing guards doing most of the damage on the glass, responsible for 26 of those boards.

Sky vs Fever same-game parlay

Gainbridge Fieldhouse is a sight for sore eyes. The Indiana Fever will be playing just their second home game since May 28, and this meeting with the Sky is a perfect spot to get right after a 2-3 SU mark in that span.

Chicago might be the only team in the WNBA with more locker room drama than Indiana, as players are openly criticizing coach Marsh during the team’s current 1-7 SU slide.

The revamped Sky roster isn’t gelling well with players in and out, and the team’s net rating has slipped to -12.6 in the past eight games.

Sky vs Fever SGP

  • Fever moneyline
  • Caitlin Clark Over 4.5 rebounds
  • Caitlin Clark Under 2.5 threes

Caitlin Clark pick: Under 2.5 threes (-105)

The Sky don’t do many things right on defense, but they do patrol the perimeter.

Chicago owns the third-lowest opponent 3-point percentage, allowing only 6.8 triples per game.

Head coach Tyler Marsh anchors his defense in tough on-ball pressure and doesn’t use drop coverage on screen action, instead utilizing hard hedges to force ball handers into the paint.

Clark’s 3-point shooting hasn’t been great overall, yet her prop markets carry that "Clark cushion" due to the public appeal of the superstar guard.

She’s made three or more triples in just three of her 10 contests so far, with those results coming against Washington (twice) and Golden State — two of the weakest 3-point defenses in the league.

Player projections call for 2.2 makes from downtown from Clark, which has me betting the Under 2.5 at the smaller ask of -105. Given that forecast, the Under should be priced closer to -170.
