NFL betting heads to the “City by the Bay” for Super Bowl LX with the New England Patriots taking on the Seattle Seahawks.
Getting down your Super Bowl picks is a two-week process, with thousands of markets hitting the board between now and kickoff on February 8.
The biggest Super Bowl picks will come on the spread and total. And depending on which side of those odds you like, you should time your wagers to get the best of the number.
I help you do just that with my NFL picks to “Bet Now” and which ones you should “Bet Later”.
NFL predictions: Super Bowl 60 bet now, bet later picks
- Seahawks (-198) vs Patriots: Bet Now
- Seahawks vs Patriots (Over 46.5): Bet Later

Seattle Seahawks (-198) vs New England Patriots: Bet Now
-198 at BetMGM (USA)
-230 at BET99 (Canada)
The NFC has always had the inside track on the look-ahead lines for Super Bowl LX, and early movement will be toward the NFC champion Seattle Seahawks.
After the New England Patriots’ pop-gun run to the Big Game - in which their offense struggled against quality defenses - they once again find themselves against a top-tier stop unit.
The Patriots have posted just 12 and 13 first downs in their last two postseason games while averaging 3.2 and 3.9 yards per play in those contests. Quarterback Drake Maye has been limited in his production while absorbing 10 total sacks.
Seattle’s defense is tops in the land with a vaunted pass rush that ranked among the best in the NFL in pressure rate, sacks, QB hits, and hurries despite blitzing at one of the lowest rates.
On top of that, the Seahawks offense has been humming in the tournament, torching the 49ers for 41 points and hanging 31 points on the Rams. New England hasn’t faced a team this complete… well, all season.
I expect the spread to run upward, and the moneyline will get more expensive in tow, so I’m betting the Seahawks outright now.

Seattle Seahawks vs New England Patriots (Over 46.5): Bet Later
Over 46.5 at BetMGM (USA)
Over 46.5 at BET99 (Canada)
The look-ahead total for this Big Game pairing was 45.5 points before the NFC Championship. After the Seahawks won a shootout against the Rams, the official opener hit the board as high as 46.5 O/U.
We’re seeing the Under padded at -115, and some shops have dropped the total to 46 immediately after taking action Sunday night. If you like the Over, see how far this number dips before getting down.
There is a lot to dislike about the New England offense after what we’ve seen in the postseason – and that’s driving initial movement. However, the Patriots will have two weeks for offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels to scheme and study, and this trip to San Francisco should present the cleanest track New England has played on after being plagued by cold, wind, and snow all tournament.
As for the Seahawks, they’ve consistently hung big numbers, and this offense doesn’t miss inside the red zone. Seattle is 8-for-11 inside the 20 over the past two games and faces a Patriots defense that has struggled in the RZ this season.
Now, don’t wait too long to come back on the Over. The Super Bowl often sees heavy public play on the Over closer to kickoff, as the casual fan wants to cheer for plenty of points. Anything below the key number of 46 points is advantageous.
