While the Packers have been bad in their own right, the Falcons have been arguably the worst team in the NFL, ranking 29th in total offense and dead-last in passing (to nobody's surprise) with just 129 yards through the air per game through two weeks of the season. Even with Penix starting, going on the road to Lambeau Field to take on a hungry Packers team that ranks fifth in total defense will be a tall task. Talk about being thrown into the fire.

The Falcons just watched Carolina tight end Darren Waller score two touchdowns in their Week 2 belly flop and face another TE with a nose for the end zone in Green Bay. Tucker Kraft scored six TDs in eight games before getting injured for the remainder of the season in 2025. In fact, Kraft struck for 13 touchdowns in his last 26 games going back to 2024. He’s yet to be targeted inside the red zone in 2026 but with the receiving corps missing bodies and Christian Watson playing through pain, Kraft could find himself running more routes (13th among all TE in routes run). Touchdown probabilities have Kraft’s chances at reeling in his first TD of the season between 30% and 41%.

I got this at 2.8x with a fair price of 2.55x. It's the No. 2 TD on the Covers Anytime Value Index, and with Patrick Mahomes looking more pass than handoff in Week 2, this passing game could have a big three quarters of football against the Dolphins. Miami has a bottom-six defense in both EPA/play and success rate, but its dropback success rate and EPA/play rank as the second-worst unit in football. The Chiefs can do whatever they want on Sunday and put up 35+ points. Xavier Worthy has twice as many RZ targets through two games as Rashee Rice and is priced better. He also played more snaps and ran more routes than Rice in Week 2 and leads the team in target share at 20%. It's Worthy over Rice for me in Week 3.

This is undoubtedly one of my best bets for Week 3. We're seeing the biggest spread on the slate, and for good reason; the Fins enter this game with the largest point differential in the AFC (-36) and the fourth-worst red-zone defense in football. Expect Patrick Mahomes and Co. to play with their food and dominate.

I really wanted Quinshon Judkins at 2.25x against the Panthers, who are getting gashed on the ground. However, getting Denzel Boston at this price after two weeks of cashing still feels long, with a fair price around 3.2x. Judkins has not found any room to run through two games, but Boston already has a 21% target share and a whopping 52% of the air-yard share. The only wide receivers with a bigger AYS are Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Justin Jefferson, and Chris Olave — some big hitters. Boston can run the deep route for a score like he did in Week 1 or catch and run for yards like last week. He's beaten the Jaguars and Bucs. Surely, he can beat the Panthers, who gave up 59 points in Week 1 before having to play the worst QB tandem in the history of the sport in Week 2.

This Judkins Over is in play to 46.5 because Carolina has allowed the highest yards per carry (6.31) to opposing running backs while ranking 29th in run defense DVOA through two weeks. The Cleveland rusher also cleared this total in nine of 14 games last season, and he has handled 75% of running back carries with a 66% snap share to start 2026. Judkins’ go-to role positions him to scamper well Over this number in the soft Week 3 matchup.

Elic Ayomanor might be WR2 facing a Giants defense that is on a short week and dealing with cluster injuries at corner. Davante Adams did whatever he wanted on MNF because of the lack of NFL talent at corner. Ayomanor should not be longer than 5.5x. He's playing better than Calvin Ridley and is getting targeted on 20% of his routes while sitting second on the team in air-yard share at 30%. He also has all of the WR red-zone targets at three through two games, with a TD. It's a longer shot here, but certainly +EV. The only thing knocking it is a bad pass offense, but the Eagles and Jets are a lot different than the Giants, who have allowed a red-zone touchdown on all six of their opponents' trips inside the 20.

Grabbing this -5.5 line before Monday Night Football because I’m expecting the Giants to hang with the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2, and New York will be an even larger home favorite over Tennessee by Sunday afternoon. The Titans were only on offense for 23:35 against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, and QB Cam Ward has thrown for just 6.2 yards per attempt through two weeks. Tennessee also hits the highway for the first time in 2026, and the new-look G-Men put on an offensive clinic in their season opener at MetLife Stadium.

TreVeyon Henderson made his season debut for New England in Week 2, garnering 60% of snaps after his backfield mate Rhamondre Stevenson fumbled early on. Henderson finished with 16 carries for 76 yards and while the touches could be better balanced in Week 3, head coach Mike Vrabel didn’t dismiss Henderson’s involvement. With the Jaguars pass rush a problem, the New England run game needs to take heat off Maye and avoid long third downs. Jacksonville isn’t as strong versus the run, including the No. 28 rating in run stop win rate at ESPN. Measuring projections between the Pats two RBs, Henderson holds the most value. His forecasts lean toward 40+ rushing yards with some as high as 57 gains on the ground in Week 3.

Under head coach Liam Coen, we’ve witnessed Trevor Lawrence blossom into a true dual-threat QB. Last season, he rushed for almost 360 yards and nine touchdowns, coming on 23 carries inside the red zone. That was third among all QBs in 2025, behind only Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts. The Patriots didn’t have to worry about slow-mo Rodgers making plays with his legs last weekend, but T-Law is able to break away when pressure comes. New England is blitzing at a high rate, so we could see Lawrence tuck and run if the Pats bring extra bodies inside the 20-yard line. Touchdown probabilities for Lawrence range from 23% to 32% in Week 3, with most at 30%+.

The Bills are 2-0 to the Over this year due to their potent offense. However, their defense is my primary selling point here. Buffalo has been involved in two shootouts this season, a 36-31 win in Week 1 against Houston and a 41-31 victory against the Lions in Week 2 - coughing 368 yards per game as a result. I'm expecting the Chargers to finally put together a game under Mike McDaniel here, with a total that should be closer to 55.5. Punts will be few and far between on Sunday.

With both David Njoku and Charlie Kolar out long-term, Oronde Gadsden is set to pick up some snaps and is coming off a TD in Week 2 that paid 5.75x last week. The price move is still within the buy range, as I have a fair price for a possible No. 2 pass-catcher in this offense as a hefty dog closer to 3x, compared to the 4.1x price tag early in the week. Ladd McConkey is playing through his rib injury, and the rest of the pass-catchers in this offense are invisible. The unit as a whole has been bad. However, there will be plenty of passing opportunities for this Los Angeles offense, as its defense is one of the worst in football, while the Bills' defense has still allowed 62 points in two games.

There are a lot of Jets angles I want here. The Lions have been awful at defending the TE position early in the season, as even the Saints had TDs from Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant in Week 1. The problem is that the Jets have a four-TE rotation, with Kenyon Sadiq at 5.1x being a possibility, but I'm looking elsewhere. Adonai Mitchell (4.1x) had 12 targets last week and leads the Jets in target and air-yard share, but I don't want to get cute when Garrett Wilson is 2.5x or better. It's an indoor game with a high total, and Wilson also ranks high on the Covers Anytime TD Value Index. The Jets could put up points against this toothless defense, and a move from 2.8x last week to 2.7x this week isn't enough for the setting and matchup.

The New York Jets have allowed just 4.0 yards per play, third-best in the NFL, and rank sixth in EPA per defensive play for the season. And while the Detroit Lions have given up an embarrassing 457.5 yards per game on defense, Geno Smith and the New York offense haven't shown any signs that they can even approach that kind of number. I'm backing the Under at totals as low as 47.5 points.

Your TD card can't be littered with long shots, and getting a clear-cut No. 1 running back with the short-yardage role against the worst points-per-game defense at 1.87x is still a great deal. This should come with a fair price of 1.69x, or 59% vs. 53%. Every position has been padding stats against the Colts this year, and running backs are no exception. Only two other teams are giving up more fantasy points to opposing running backs than the Colts, who gave up 41 points last week and got run over by Kenneth Walker, who likely should have had a TD count. In Week 2, they allowed 5.2 yards per rush, and in Week 1, that number was 5.5. It's another indoor game, and David Montgomery should look more like his Week 1 self than his Week 2 output, when he had two TDs on 20 carries.

We have two teams that have hit the Over in three of four games this year, leading me to believe that this number is far too low. The Colts' defense is simply the worst in football so far, giving up a total of eight touchdowns through two weeks. Most of these are due to a struggling red-zone unit, which is coughing up a score 67% of the time. So what's been working for Indy? Undeniably, its offense, which is scoring at an 84% clip once they get inside the 20. While yes, the Colts are going up against one of the better defensive units in football, Houston has still allowed over 350 yards of total offense in the early parts of 2026. What does this all add up to? An Over. Play this up to 55%.

I got this at 2.3x and would play to 2.15x. This is not a game to get cute. It could be a low-scoring AFC North battle, but with Joey Porter just getting back to action and Jamel Dean missing practice, the depth and stamina at corner for the Steelers is not great against the second-best receiver in football. The Steelers have faced the Patriots and Falcons, so their defensive numbers could be inflated, and they have yet to see a legit QB-WR combo. Chase had a two-TD Week 2 and leads all Bengals WRs in red-zone targets. Stay away from Mike Gesicki this week. Don't fall for a big Week 1 like I did last week. Chase put up 161 yards on 16 catches and a TD in the first meeting vs. the Steelers last year.

Pittsburgh takes a series step up in competition and this is no longer the Steelers we could count on under Mike Tomlin. Aaron Rodgers is done and Cincinnati is looking like the best two-way team in the NFL, after handling Houston on the road in Week 3. The Bengals have collected eight sacks in the first two games and I wouldn’t be surprised if Rodgers doesn’t make it through Week 3, given the pounding he took in New England.  Oh, and Joe Burrow is absolutely firing on all cylinders. He’s surgical versus zone coverage and will slice up Patrick Graham’s passive playcalling. I'm taking Cincy ML before this price ticks up to two bucks or higher.

Defensive masterminds Todd Bowles and Brian Flores send extra pass rushers more than most, which has me measuring just how the respective QBs will handle the heat. Baker Mayfield has been solid versus the blitz during this time in Tampa, with an uncanny ability to sneak away from pressure and either make a play with his legs or squeeze in a release pass. Kyler Murray is expected to be under center after having his Vikings debut cut short due to a concussion in Week 1. Murray hasn’t been great against blitzes during this career and had only 11 full-speed snaps (five dropbacks) in Kevin O’Connell’s offense before getting hurt. We’re getting Tampa Bay at a discount. It was originally a 1.5-point home favorite on the look-ahead market and sat at that same spread before the results of Week 2.

We're seeing two mediocre offenses against two top-10 defenses in Week 3. The Vikings have had to play mistake-free football on both sides of the ball - their defense has allowed an average of just 12.5 points per game as a result. It's also one of the best red-zone defenses this year, allowing a touchdown on just 12% of trips inside the 20. With positive regression looming for the Bucs' defense against Murray and Co. I'm projecting this total to close closer to 40.5.

The Ravens’ receiving corps is banged up with injuries to Zay Flowers and Ja'Kobi Lane, upping TE Mark Andrews spot in the pass-catching pecking order. The veteran tight end is heavily involved, playing in more than 70% of snaps and running the 12th most routes among all TEs. He’s reeled in 10 of 13 targets for just under 100 yards in two games. Andrews has been targeted only once inside the red zone yet faces a Dallas defense not only having issues with the run but also rival tight ends. The Cowboys have allowed 11 receptions to the position, two of which were for touchdowns. Touchdown probabilities park Andrews chances at finding the end zone between 30% and 56%, with most models around 40%.

A dual-threat QB like Lamar Jackson can roll through that Dallas defense like a carnival float. The Cowboys can’t contain fleet-footed quarterbacks, having allowed a league-high 126 rushing yards to the likes of Jaxson Dart and Jayden Daniels – the latter of which only played the first half (69 rushing yards). Jackson’s rushing efforts have been modest through two games, amassing 40 and 34 yards in the opening two games. However, he told reporters he’s still a big part of the running playbook heading into Week 3. Lamar’s forecasts differ, ranging from 31.5 to 51 rushing yards in Week 3. My number comes out to 44 rushing yards but leans to the higher ceiling given the matchup.

Vegas' new defensive coordinator Rob Leonard is creating tremendous pressure with his front four (No. 1 pressure rate despite blitzing on only 22% of snaps), collecting eight sacks and 10 QB hits. The Raiders now set their sights on second-year QB Tyler Shough. His PFF profile doesn’t paint a pretty picture under pressure. As a rookie, Shough was night and day when kept clean vs. under duress, rating 27th among qualifying QBs. The 2026 season produces a similar split, rating No. 5 when clean but 18th under pressure. It just so happens an already stressed New Orleans offensive line will be without starting LT Kelvin Banks for a while due to an ankle injury in Week 2. The Saints pass protection has already allowed eight sacks and ranks 28th in pass block win rate.

The Saints rank as the 8th-most pass-heavy team in the league (context-neutralized) this year with a 60.8% pass rate.. The projections expect this game to have the highest number of plays run among all games this week at 132.4 plays, based on the traits of each team and game dynamics.. The New Orleans Saints have called the 3rd-most plays in the league since the start of last season, totaling a staggering 60.4 plays per game.. The passing attacks of both teams (including both volume and efficiency) ought to benefit from the calm "weather" conditions (i.e. zero wind) inside this dome, while ground volume may suffer.. The Raiders linebackers grade out as the 3rd-worst unit in the NFL since the start of last season in pass coverage.

Los Angeles quarterback Matthew Stafford not only faces one of the stingiest secondaries in the league but could do so without some of his top options. Wide receivers Puka Nacua and Jordan Whittington are questionable along with ailments to tight ends Colby Parkinson and Terrance Ferguson. Denver is a tough team to pass against, even when you’re receiving corps is healthy. The Broncos rate Top 12 in many advanced pass defense metrics, including opponent success rate per dropback. Stafford may not have to do much downfield if Denver can’t slow down the Rams’ rushing game. The Broncos have been bullied on the ground in the first two contest and we could see Stafford handing off at a higher rate. His Week 3 projections don’t go beyond 250 yards with my number sit short of 240 passing yards from Stafford on Sunday night.

Rams running back Blake Corum continues to gain the trust of McVay and his snap shares have been ticking up since the end of last season. He’s almost drew a split with Williams in Week 2, playing 45% of snaps versus New York. Despite that uptick, Corum has yet to see a red zone carry. That could change in Week 3. Williams remains the top option but with RB3 Ronnie Rivers (who’s received two RZ carries) now on IR, the choices inside the 20-yard line are limited. Corum scored six touchdowns in 2025 with five coming in the final six games of the schedule when his carries increased. His touchdown probabilities for SNF sit between 27% and 37% in Week 3.

The Eagles are a 4.5-point favorite in this week's game, likely creating a rushing game script.. Accounting for their underlying play style and matchup dynamics, the predictive model expects the Eagles to pass on 51.0% of their plays: the 2nd-lowest frequency among all teams this week.. The projections expect Jalen Hurts to attempt 31.0 passes in this week's game, on average: the 5th-fewest among all QBs.

The Chicago Bears may pass less in this week's game (and call more rushes) given that they be rolling out backup QB Case Keenum.. This week's spread indicates a throwing game script for the Bears, who are -4.5-point underdogs.. Since the start of last season, the poor Philadelphia Eagles run defense has been gouged for a monstrous 4.14 adjusted yards-per-carry (YPC) to the opposition's run game: the 24th-highest rate in football.. The Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackles rank as the 2nd-best group of DTs in football since the start of last season in regard to defending the run.

For every matchup in an NFL season, our NFL computer produces selections for a variety of different betting angles. Our computer picks are based on a proprietary algorithm that values each team in the current week to produce moneyline, spread, and point total selections.

The table above, below the game picks, tracks our NFL computer's results over the last 100 games, outlining the record and profit for selections, based on $100 unit size. We track the profit based on both opening and closing lines for every matchup.

How to Use NFL Computer Picks

The easiest way to utilize our computer picks is to simply follow our selections for every matchup, what you'd call ailing the computer." But there are other ways to utilize our NFL computer picks, as well.

You can use our NFL computer as a jumping-off point to do more research into specific lines, cross-referencing with expert picks, which can be found above the selections for some matchups, recent NFL betting trends, and more.

As well, you can gauge the confidence of the matchup. The larger the projected score, the more confident the computer is in a specific pick.

Or, if you want to implement a system, betting only on underdogs, for example, you can look for matchups in which our computer likes the underdog to inform which picks you're going to hone in on for a given week.

We have these computer picks for every sport you're looking to wager on, as well:

Moneyline

NFL moneyline picks are the simplest way to get in on the NFL action. All you have to do is simply bet on which team you think will win the game.

For moneyline picks, the favorite is represented with a minus sign (-) in front of the odds, while the underdog has a plus (+). However, you don't get the same profit for picking an underdog compared to a favorite. If the favored team is -120, a $100 bet on them would pay out $80 in profit and $180 total, if they win the game. The underdog winning at +150 would pay out a $150 profit, $250 total.

We have a complete breakdown of how to read NFL moneyline odds for these NFL computer picks.

Spread

While moneyline picks are the simplest, picking NFL games against the spread is probably the most common wager for regular NFL bettors.

To bet an NFL spread, you wager on whether a team will win by a certain number of points or more or if they'll lose by fewer points than the spread. For example, if the spread is -6.5 for the New England Patriots, you would win the bet if they win the game by 7 points or more. Or if a team is +6.5, you're betting on if they'll win outright or lose by fewer than 6.5 points.

There is a correlation between moneyline odds and the spread, as books set these lines based on the same information.

You can read more about NFL spreads here.

Totals (Over/Under)

If you aren’t entirely sold on which NFL team will win or cover in an NFL game, you can still use our NFL computer picks to bet on the point total.

As opposed to taking a side, in total or Over/Under betting, you wager on whether both NFL teams will combine for a final score of more than (Over) or less than (Under) the total number of points set by oddsmakers.

The computer picks, and your handicapping of totals is more about how you think both teams will score points, not which team has the edge to win.
