We have a huge slate of Premier League games this Saturday capped by Wolves and Everton meeting in the late kick-off at Molineux.
Just one position separates the two teams who are 16th and 17th in the Premier League respectively. However, one team is in far better form, which is why our Wolves vs Everton predictions have Everton continuing their resurgence under David Moyes and claiming the three points here.

My analysis
There are six Premier League games on Saturday, but the final game, Wolves vs. Everton, feels like the ‘must-watch’ matchup.
Everton are 16th in the table, just one spot above Wolves but that does a disservice to the huge gulf between them. Wolves are a full 10 points below Everton, and only five points above Ipswich and Leicester, both in the relegation zone. Realistically, three of Wolves and this past year’s three promoted teams will go down. Wolves might be clear by five points but they can certainly get dragged back in if Ipswich or Leicester go on a run of wins.
The Toffees are as close to Wolves, who are 10 points and one spot below them, as they are Fulham who are 10 points higher than them, and ninth in the table, which shows just how quickly Everton’s fortunes can swing if they keep getting results. They have already improved hugely this season, bringing back former manager David Moyes in place of Sean Dyche. Moyes is a proven Premier League manager and an Everton favorite but nobody could have predicted how well he’d get them playing. In eight league games since returning he’s picked up four wins, three draws and just one defeat, that’s incredible given the team had just three wins in the 20 games before his return.
What makes it even more impressive is that the team has had big some injuries, depriving Moyes of leaders like Seamus Coleman, and attacking talents like Iliman Ndiaye and Dwight McNeil, who was arguably their best player until his injury in mid-December. What Moyes has done so well is to build on Dyche’s defensive strength. They’re still hard to beat, just as all Moyes’ teams have been, but they’re quick in transition and dangerous on the counter. He’s managed to get the best out of players like Beto, who were struggling previously, and has added confidence into the team, something that’s reflected in the fanbase, who are getting behind their team more than ever.
Given how well Everton are playing, it’s a bad time for Wolves to meet them. We’ve seen improvement in Wolves across the season but they come into this missing a number of players. None more so than the suspended Matheus Cunha. The Brazilian was getting interest from some of the biggest teams in the Premier League and Wolves simply can’t replace his attacking threat with the same quality. He’s already racked up 13 goals and four assists and their attack simply isn’t as dangerous without him.
With Moyes’ men seven games unbeaten in the Premier League and finding a Wolves team without their talisman, this feels like a game they shouldn’t lose. Getting odds of +190 feels very generous given their recent form, defensive strength, and the injury to Cunha, so back the Toffees this Saturday.
Wolves vs Everton same-game parlay (SGP)
The Portuguese struggled to adapt at the club under Sean Dyche but has been reborn with David Moyes at the helm. He’s only really featuring due to injuries to Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Iliman Ndiaye, and Armando Broja, but he’s grabbed his chance. He’s scored five goals in his past five Premier League games and not only is he scoring, but he’s actually playing well too, seemingly fitting well into Moyes’ system. He’s the dangerman again against a Wolves’ defense who can’t keep a clean sheet.
The final leg of this Same-Game Parlay is for Joao Gomes to get booked. The Brazilian has been a consistent part of the Wolves midfield this year but is never far away from trouble. In 25 games he’s picked up seven yellow cards and a red card and commits a high 2.2 fouls per game. His past six games have seen him get three yellows and a red and in a high-pressure game, that his team desperately needs to win, we could once again see his name taken by the referee.
