My England vs Spain top pick: Spain (41% probability)
I would play this up to 53%.
Spain may be the away team, but it makes total sense that they are the clear favorites to win their UEFA Nations League (League A) Round 1 fixture at Wembley on Saturday.
It has been only two months since La Roja were crowned world champions with their 1-0 extra-time victory over Argentina in the World Cup final. During the five-and-a-half-week tournament in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, Spain proved beyond all reasonable doubt that they are currently the world's top team.
Spain manager Luis de la Fuente and his players go into this game on an extraordinary run of 38 games without defeat in 90 minutes (W28-D10-L0). This unbeaten run is the all-time record in international football and underlines just how peerless they have been.
There is little evidence that England will be good enough to end Spain's stunning streak of form. Thomas Tuchel's team went out of the World Cup to Argentina at the semifinal stage, Spain have won six of the last nine head-to-head meetings (W6-D1-L2), and England have far more injuries to contend with (see below).
Taking all factors into account, the implied probability of 41% on a Spain victory underplays the visitors' chances of securing a win.

One thing England proved at the World Cup is that they are good at scoring goals.
They did so three times vs. Mexico (3-2 win) in the Round of 16, twice vs. Norway (2-1 win) in the quarterfinals, once against Argentina (2-1 loss) in the semifinals, and six times vs. France (6-4) in the wildly entertaining, if unimportant, third-place match.
Those same scorelines underline the defensive problems Tuchel's team have. Keeping clean sheets is not their thing.
I expect Spain to win, but the home team should be strong enough in attack to score at least once.
