Senators vs Golden Knights Prediction, Picks & Same-Game Parlay for Tonight’s NHL Game

The Senators' line of Tim Stutzle, Drake Batherson, and David Perron will keep the Golden Knights defense on its toes, scoring at least three goals in Sin City tonight.

The Ottawa Senators head to Sin City to take on the Vegas Golden Knights in a tape-measuring matchup at T-Mobile Arena on Wednesday, November 26.

My top Senators vs. Golden Knights predictions and NHL picks are calling for Ottawa to push all in offensively tonight.

Senators vs Golden Knights prediction

Senators vs Golden Knights Best bet: Senators team total Over 2.5 (-115)

The Ottawa Senators have scored three or more goals in five of their past eight games and average a 10th-ranked 3.14 per game for the season. I’m also encouraged that Ottawa has been an above-average team at 5-on-5 with 2.67 goals per 60 minutes, and the Sens also sport an 11th-ranked 22.5 power-play percentage.

Add Ottawa driving 5-on-5 possession with a 10th-ranked Corsi For percentage while also ranking 10th in expected goals percentage, and there’s no question the Senators are playing sound and structured hockey.

The only problem tonight is that the Vegas Golden Knights are similarly situated and have allowed a middling 2.91 goals per game. However, that number has jumped to 3.30 across their past 10 games, and opponents have scored three or more seven times.

Additionally, the Golden Knights have question marks in net with likely starter Akira Schmid allowing 3+ goals in seven of his 13 starts and sporting a run-of-the-mill .902 save percentage.

Schmid’s save percentage drops to .886 when opponents register 24 or more shots.

Senators vs Golden Knights same-game parlay

Ottawa has allowed the fewest expected goals per 60 minutes at 5-on-5, and No. 1 goalie Linus Ullmark has turned in a .915 SV% and 1.98 GAA across his past five games. When Ullmark stands tall behind the stingy Sens, goals are tough to come by for opponents.

So, with Vegas and its highlighted defensive and goaltending concerns reeling along a 3-3-4 stretch, Ottawa can pull off the road upset.

Turning to the final leg of this same-game parlay, Sens winger David Perron is projected to skate in a top role with Tim Stutzle and Drake Batherson on the top line and No. 1 power-play unit.

Stutzle and Batherson rank first and second on the club in points and have combined to be on the ice for a rock-solid 5.37 goals per 60 minutes.
