The Baltimore Ravens sit firmly in the AFC playoff hunt, while the Cincinnati Bengals are clinging to their postseason hopes as the two teams meet at Paycor Stadium this afternoon.

My Ravens vs. Bengals predictions and NFL picks expect a high-scoring game going in Baltimore’s favor, thanks to a resurgence from wide receiver Rashod Bateman.

Ravens vs Bengals prediction

Ravens vs Bengals Best bet: Rashod Bateman Over 17.5 receiving yards (-110)

It’s been a tale of two seasons for Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman.

He hauled in nine touchdowns with a high-end 16.6 yards per reception and 15.2 aDoT last year, but has only found the end zone twice with respective 12.1 and 12.9 marks through 11 games this season.

The dip has led to a free fall in Bateman’s receiving yards total, and his Week 15 number is his lowest since the beginning of last season.

His role as the No. 2 wide receiver in the Baltimore offense is etched in stone, though. Bateman has played the second-most snaps at the position in all 11 games he’s suited up for.

Of course, this is also a cakewalk matchup against one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

The Cincinnati Bengals rank 32nd in dropback success rate, 28th in PFF coverage grade, and have allowed the second-highest yards per target. I like Bateman to clear this total for a second consecutive game in Week 15.

Ravens vs Bengals same-game parlay

If things went differently for the Ravens in Week 14, the Bengals would be a significantly larger underdog Sunday.

Baltimore dominated the time of possession (33:44) against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, and the Ravens are still chasing down a postseason berth. Plus, Baltimore is just two games removed from a five-game winning streak.

As noted, there’s no stop in the Cincinnati defense, and even with shaky quarterback play from Lamar Jackson the past four weeks, the Ravens have still scored the 13th-most points per game while ranking 15th in offensive DVOA.

A date with the Bengals is just what the Ravens need, and these two teams played to the Over in four consecutive games before totaling 46 points and falling short of the number in Week 13.

Ravens vs Bengals SGP

  • Ravens -2.5
  • Over 51.5
  • Rashod Bateman Over 18.5 receiving yards

Our big-ticket SGP: The Great Bateman

The Bengals have been shredded by opposing tight ends this season, so I’m anticipating a focus on shoring up against the position.

That should leave extra space and time for Bateman, who garnered a pair of red-zone targets in Week 14.

Ravens vs Bengals SGP

  • Ravens -2.5
  • Over 51.5
  • Rashod Bateman Over 18.5 receiving yards
  • Rashod Bateman anytime touchdown

Ravens vs Bengals game predictions

Ravens vs Bengals moneyline prediction

Baltimore is still realistically battling for a postseason berth, and while Cincy has a chance to play more than the spoiler role, I still expect the Ravens to piece it together and leave Paycor Stadium with a win Sunday afternoon. The Ravens are just two games removed from winning five straight — including three on the road — after all.

Ravens vs Bengals spread prediction

My early lean for Ravens vs. Bengals this week was to take the points with the Bengals as a home underdog, but I still think the Ravens can curb this losing skid and cover the number in Week 15. Baltimore has the talent on both sides of the ball, and Cincinnati sends out a defense with no stop. Plus, this spread is below the key number of 3.

Ravens vs Bengals Over/Under prediction

As noted, this Bengals defense has played soft and allowed both the most yards per play and most points per game this season. The Ravens enter averaging the 13th-most points per game, and before the Under hit between these two teams in Week 13, they played to the Over in each of the prior four meetings.

Ravens vs Bengals odds

  • Spread: Ravens -2.5 | Bengals +2.5
  • Moneyline: Ravens -145 | Bengals +125
  • Over/Under: Over 51.5 | Under 51.5
