Early Rams vs Eagles spread pick: Rams outright
The Los Angeles Rams were as low as -2.5 in Lincoln Financial Field after an ugly collapse at Denver on Sunday night. This spread has jumped up to -3.5 at Kalshi after the Philadelphia Eagles were spanked in Chicago.
While this is a second straight road game for L.A. – at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) – I don’t want to discount the Rams too much, considering they played the Broncos on a short week in the thin air of Mile High.
Now, the Eagles are on a quick turnaround after getting schemed inside-out by Chicago on Monday.
Vic Fangio needs to figure his stop unit out in time to slow down Matthew Stafford and a Los Angeles attack expected to have WR1 Puka Nacua back. Offensively, Philly is just as lost. It sits 28th in success rate per play and 27th in first downs per game.
Philadelphia is a rare favorite on Sunday and that could be for a reason. Looking back, the Eagles have been home dogs only nine times since 2020 but are 1-8 SU in those outings.
I don’t want to dance around the half-point hooks, so my early lean is Rams to win outright.

Early Rams vs Eagles total pick: Under 44.5
The Rams buckled against the Broncos in Week 3 with the help of turnovers. Los Angeles’ defense only allowed 257 yards on 4.3 yards per play, rating out ninth in success rate allowed last week.
If we take away the weirdo result from Week 1's global trip to Australia, the Rams are No. 4 in EPA allowed and opponent success rate the past two outings.
Philadelphia scored 33 points against L.A. at home in Week 3 last season, but Sean Mannion’s new 2026 offense is struggling.
The once-mighty offensive line gave up two sacks and countless pressures on MNF and accounted for numerous penalties that put the Eagles in poor down and distance.
The inexperienced Mannion isn’t making the necessary adjustments at half, leaving Philadelphia to average less than a TD in the final 30 minutes while ranking 28th in EPA per play in second halves so far.
The extended forecast for Philadelphia calls for a chance of rain Sunday afternoon, which could make things messier for these offenses. I’m leaning Under 44.5 points early in the week.
