Lions touchdown pick: Amon-Ra St. Brown
Detroit WR Amon-Ra St. Brown's anytime touchdown prop has value up to 57%. St. Brown is an absolute nightmare to cover because he lines up all over the field.
The two-time All-Pro does most of his damage out of the slot, where Carolina's lowest-graded starting cornerback, Tre'von Moehrig, plays.
He is facing a Panthers secondary missing its two starting outside cornerbacks.
More importantly, St. Brown already has five receiving touchdowns this season and has caught at least 10 touchdown passes in the three seasons prior.
Panthers touchdown pick: Chuba Hubbard
Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard's anytime touchdown prop is playable up to 58%. I don't have much respect for Detroit's defensive front, and Hubbard should be one of the biggest pieces of Carolina's offense.
He's also more than just a runner. Hubbard has scored three touchdowns this season, one rushing and two receiving, giving him multiple paths to the end zone.
More importantly, he's back to being Carolina's clear lead back after splitting work with Rico Dowdle last season. The last time Hubbard held that role for a full season, he scored 11 total touchdowns, including at least one in nine of his 15 games. That kind of workload makes this price attractive.
First touchdown scorer pick: Tetairoa McMillan
I like the payout on Carolina WR Tetairoa McMillan's first touchdown prop because of his size advantage over Detroit's outside cornerbacks. McMillan is 6-foot-5, 212 pounds, while Roger McCreary and D.J. Reed are both under six feet and 200 pounds.
McMillan is Bryce Young's No. 1 target, and Carolina has enough other weapons in Hubbard, WR Jalen Coker, and TE Darren Waller to keep Detroit from selling out to stop him.
The reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year hasn't scored yet this season, but the matchup gives him a legitimate red-zone advantage. At this price, I'd sprinkle on McMillan scoring first up to 13%.
Long-shot touchdown pick: Tommy Tremble
I'd trade Panthers TE Tommy Tremble's anytime touchdown prop up to 20%. Believe it or not, Tremble plays most of the snaps because he is the best blocking tight end in Carolina.
Even though Panthers TE Darren Waller is a much better receiver, he only has two more targets than Tremble.
That matters against a Detroit defense missing starting safeties Kerby Joseph and Brian Branch. Lions MLB Jack Campbell also owns a bottom-10% pass-coverage grade at his position, according to PFF.
Tremble's blocking reputation is what makes this interesting near the goal line. Detroit has to respect him as an extra blocker, which creates the perfect opportunity for Carolina to sell the run before Tremble sneaks into the flat on play-action for a touchdown.
Lions vs Panthers touchdown combo
Both offenses have clear touchdown funnels, and I'm backing their most reliable scoring options. Hubbard is back in a lead-back role for Carolina and has scored three times this season, including twice as a receiver. That gives him multiple paths to the end zone against a Detroit front I don't respect.
St. Brown is Detroit's most dependable scoring weapon. The Lions can move him around the formation against a depleted Panthers secondary, and he's already caught five touchdowns this season. If both teams finish drives through their primary playmakers, these two should be in the middle of it.
