The NFL returns overseas as the New York Giants face off against the Carolina Panthers early Sunday morning.

The Giants have lost four straight games and are favorites for the first time since Week 2 of last season. Meanwhile, the Panthers are coming off their first win since Week 3. My Giants vs. Panthers predictions believe we will see a lot of bad offense in another game in Europe.

Find out why I am projecting very little scoring in my NFL picks for November 10, and make sure to check out our Giants vs. Panthers props and Malik Nabers spotlight picks!

Kickoff is set for 9:30 a.m. ET from Allianz Arena in Munich, with the game airing on the NFL Network.

Giants vs Panthers prediction

My best bet
Under 40.5 (-110 at BetMGM)

My analysis

There have been three games played previously in Germany and they have not been pretty. There were 37 total points between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks in 2022, 35 total points between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins last year, and 16 total points between the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots last season.

However, besides just the Germany factor, there are several reasons to believe in the Under here on Sunday morning. The New York Giants have the worst scoring offense in the NFL, averaging only 15.4 points per game. Even when they have played some of the worst defenses in terms of points allowed per game, they have not lit up the scoreboard.

The Giants only scored 15 points against the Dallas Cowboys and seven points against the Cincinnati Bengals, who rank 31st and 26th respectively in points allowed. So just because this Carolina Panthers defense is bad does not mean we are suddenly going to see a surge of points from the Giants. The Panthers held the Saints to 22 points last week and only allowed 22 points to the Las Vegas Raiders back in Week 3.

On the other end, the Giants do have a strong defense. They rank 15th in points allowed at 22.4 per contest. They are especially good against the pass, where they only allow 191.6 yards per game (ninth in the NFL) and have recorded 35 sacks (most in the NFL). They are going to get after Bryce Young, who has been sacked nine times in his four starts this season.

While both teams have bad rushing defenses, neither offense is great at running the ball. With so few mismatches to take advantage of on offense for either team, I just do not see a lot of scoring opportunities. Add in the travel factor and seeing great offenses struggle in Germany games in the past, I absolutely love this Under.

Giants vs Panthers same-game parlay

Under 40.5

Malik Nabers Under 6.5 receptions

Theo Johnson Under 25.5 receiving yards

To go along with our best bet, I am going to take a player Under and that is going to be stud rookie receiver Malik Nabers to go Under 6.5 receptions. The Panthers have only allowed three receivers to have seven or more catches this season. They also are 9th in the NFL in pass attempts allowed, so there will not be a ton of opportunities for Nabers here.

Finally, I will add in another Under in the passing game for the Giants. This time I am looking at the tight end Theo Johnson. He has gone Over this total in four of his last five games, but this game will be lower scoring and slower-paced than those. Just don’t see a lot of opportunity here.
