Tarik Skubal remains exactly what the Los Angeles Dodgers hoped for. The lefty owns a 1.82 FIP over his last five appearances, allowing just 1.69 BB/9 and 0.28 HR/9. Skubal has also held opponents to a 5.7% barrel rate.
Skubal also has a 47.7% ground-ball rate during that span, and he'll face a Cincinnati Reds lineup tonight that has an atrocious 64 wRC+ in the last week.
As for Nick Lodolo, his poor 2026 campaign continues. The southpaw owns a 5.73 FIP over his previous two appearances, giving up 1.69 HR/9 and an alarming 53.6% hard-hit rate.
The Dodgers happen to be raking. They've posted a 125 wRC+ in the last six games with an impressive .225 ISO.

I'm liking the Over, mostly because of the L.A. side of the matchup. At just 7.5, this number doesn't require much from Cincinnati if the Dodgers can do most of the damage.
The Reds bullpen is in horrendous form, posting a 6.17 FIP over the last week while surrendering 2.17 HR/9. They've also struggled to limit free passes, creating plenty of opportunities for crooked innings once this game gets into the later frames.
Skubal has allowed two earned runs in each of his previous two outings, so asking Cincinnati to contribute a couple tonight isn't unreasonable.
L.A. can carry the scoring load, and the Reds may only need to chip in for this Over to cash.

With the combination of lift and quality contact trending in the right direction, Betts has a legitimate chance to leave the yard tonight.
