Tennessee can't match the uptick in class Philadelphia brings to Nashville.

The Philadelphia Eagles will look to jump to a 2-0 start as sizable road favorites over the Tennessee Titans ahead of their 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Nissan Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 20.

My early Eagles vs. Titans predictions and NFL picks call for Philly to quiet the Tennessee offense to cover the spread and keep the total Under the number in Week 2.

Early Eagles vs Titans spread pick: Eagles -6.5

Kalshi probability: 56%

The Tennessee Titans face a major uptick in class this week, and in particular, I’m anticipating quarterback Cam Ward to have a long afternoon.

Ward threw for just 4.4 yards per attempt and 5.3 aDoT while connecting on just 59.4% of his passes, and the Titans finished 22nd in EPA per play among the 30 teams in action ahead of Monday Night Football.

While it wasn’t a roaring success for the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1, they faced a division rival and held a 24-16 lead until the 1:01 mark of the fourth quarter despite the offense looking out of sync for stretches.

Still, the Philly defense largely held Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels in check to the tune of a 4.8 YPA and 52.9 completion percentage, which isn’t good news for Ward’s prospects Sunday afternoon.

Simply put, I’m not anticipating Ward and the Tennessee offense putting enough points on the board to keep pace with this early spread below the key number of 7.

Early Eagles vs Titans total pick: Under 39.5

Kalshi probability: 51%

A huge reason the Tennessee offense and Ward are in big trouble is that Philadelphia doesn’t need to blitz to generate pressure. The Eagles pressured Daniels 16 times in Week 1, which further reinforces the nightmare matchup ahead for Ward.

Additionally, as noted, Philadelphia looked disconnected on offense in the season opener. So, I’m not anticipating the Eagles piling up points on the road, either.

They rank 16th in EPA per play and 29th in success rate ahead of Monday Night Football, which highlights their reliance on explosive plays and is not indicative of a well-oiled machine. I also expect Philly to have a solid rushing performance to help keep this total Under the number.
