Denver pushes all in to add Jonathan Taylor from Indianapolis.

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is a marquee name in trade negotiations ahead of the NFL trade deadline Tuesday, November 10 at 4 p.m. ET.

While the Seattle Seahawks currently have the highest implied probability to acquire Taylor, my favorite NFL picks and trade in the Jonathan Taylor next team odds market are the Denver Broncos.

  • Key Takeaways:
  • Broncos in win-now mode and need a backfield boost
  • Draft pick capital and future financial commitment for Taylor prices out the majority of interested teams
  • Denver is actively engaged in trade negotiations to acquire Taylor sooner than later

Why are the Colts trading Jonathan Taylor?

The Indianapolis Colts are listening to trade calls on star running back Jonathan Taylor because a full franchise rebuild is underway with interim general manager Ed Dodds calling the shots.

Taylor’s prime years don’t line up with the competitive timeline of the Colts. And the front office needs to recoup premium draft capital after trading away their 2027 first-round pick last year.

Jonathan Taylor next team odds analysis

Seahawks Seahawks | 'Yes' 34¢

The Seattle Seahawks have No. 1 running back Zach Charbonnet back in the lineup for their game against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football, so I’m surprised Seattle is trading at the highest probability.

This is a huge fade for me until seeing Charbonnet in action. If he hits the ground running, the Seahawks will likely look to bolster their roster at another position ahead of the NFL trade deadline.

Of course, the Seahawks just acquired offensive lineman Quenton Nelson from the Colts, and trade negotiations for Taylor stalled because of financial hurdles.

Vikings Vikings | 'Yes' 16¢

I’m surprised the Minnesota Vikings are linked to Taylor.

The Minnesota offense has been limited to just 16.8 points across the past six games while ranking 31st in EPA per play. Running backs Aaron Jones Sr. and Jordan Mason aren’t doing the ground game any favors, either.

While Taylor could provide a more balanced offensive attack for the Vikings, I expect the Minnesota brass will view the draft capital required and future financial commitment to be too rich.

Giants Giants | 'Yes' 14¢

The New York Giants are wary of the asking price to acquire Taylor, and I’m anticipating him being traded sooner than later.

New York will explore other options to improve their skill-position depth, and the Giants have already traded away their fourth-, fifth-, and seventh-round picks in 2027, leaving them very thin on draft capital.
