Ahead of a Super Bowl-or-bust year, the Buffalo Bills are taking no chances with Josh Allen, so it’s up to the rest of the quarterback room to show signs of life against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers tonight.
However, the Buffalo offense was a no-show last weekend in a 38-0 loss to the Chicago Bears, and my Bills vs Buccaneers predictions see Tampa Bay having the last laugh in this preseason finale.

Bills vs Buccaneers prediction
Bills vs Buccaneers Best bet: Buccaneers moneyline (-110)
If there was one conclusion to reach after watching Mitch Trubisky and Mike White struggle to move the chains last Sunday against the Chicago Bears, it was that the Buffalo Bills need to do whatever it takes to keep Josh Allen healthy this season.
In contrast, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers got a two-touchdown outing from Teddy Bridgewater in a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend — along with more reasons to be excited about Bucky Irving and rookie Emeka Egbuka.
The Bucs are 2-0 in the preseason, and I’m jumping on this price for Todd Bowles’ men to get the job done again here, with a combination of Kyle Trask and Connor Bazelak likely to handle the snaps at QB.
Bazelak completed 14 of his 18 passes against the Steelers, and he showed good chemistry with Tampa Bay’s second-string receivers, connecting with Tez Johnson and Josh Williams. Though Trask was off target in Pittsburgh, he looked sharp in the preseason opener against the Tennessee Titans.
With the Bucs still working through camp competitions at a couple of defensive spots, there’s every reason to expect the hosts to be locked in on that side of the ball, and it’s easier to trust the Tampa Bay unit than a shaky Bills defense that’s given up 72 points so far in the preseason.
