Notre Dame vs Pittsburgh best bet

The Irish score 4.56 points per quality drive, the second-highest rate in the country. The Panthers’ defense ranks No. 120 in the country in that regard. If Notre Dame can get inside Pittsburgh’s 40-yard line just five times, it is reasonable to think that will be enough opportunities for the Irish to clear this team total. And given the Panthers’ pass-heavy offense, Notre Dame should see at least a dozen possessions.

South Carolina vs Texas A&M best bet
Texas A&M -18.5 (-110 at FanDuel)
This feels like a bloodbath. As I have for almost the entire season, I have real questions about this South Carolina offense and how it will find any success against such an elite defense — in a pretty rabid atmosphere.

Wisconsin vs Indiana best bet
Fernando Mendoza Over 237.5 passing yards (-114 at FanDuel)
The Badgers not only have the No. 112 success rate against the pass, but they are also thrown against at the third-highest relative rate in the country. This is a defense begging a Heisman-caliber quarterback to put up a Heisman-worthy stat line.

Michigan vs Northwestern best bet
Northwestern +11.5 (-108 at FanDuel)
Michigan has won six of its last seven games, riding a punishing rushing attack that averages 5.8 yards per carry and a defense that holds opponents to 17.2 ppg. That’s a formula that will win a lot of games, but not necessarily one that leads to blowouts: Michigan has only covered in one of its last five games overall, and it has failed to cover four times this season as a double-digit favorite.

Kansas State vs Oklahoma State best bet

Kansas State is 4-5 right now, with a trip to Utah remaining before hosting Colorado to end the season. It is all but guaranteed that Chris Klieman emphasized to his team during the idle week that they need a win on Saturday to keep their bowl hopes thriving.

Arizona vs Cincinnati best bet
Cincinnati -6 (-115 at FanDuel)
It's a nice buy-low spot for Cincinnati, which is coming off its worst performance of the season, but had a bye week to regroup and faces an Arizona team that is coming off a misleading (and flukey) victory.
