Expert March Madness Elite Eight ATS picks for Sunday
No. 6 Tennessee vs No. 1 Michigan:
Michigan -7.5 (-110)
This is a nightmare matchup for the Tennessee Volunteers, so consider the fairytale NCAA Tournament run over.
Rick Barnes’ squad thrives on the offensive glass, posting a nation-leading 44.4% offensive rebounding rate. They’ve punked their three opponents in the Big Dance, winning the rebounding battle 105-70.
The Michigan Wolverines are uniquely poised to nullify this threat, as they have the best backcourt in the nation of Yazel Lendeborg, Morez Johnson, and Aday Mara. They have a ton of size and an elite 56.5% rebounding percentage, and they’re the much better team on both sides of the ball.

No. 2 UConn vs No. 1 Duke:
UConn +5 (-110)
The Duke Blue Devils have looked entirely underwhelming for four of the six halves they’ve played in this tournament. They just failed to cover the spread against one tough Big East opponent (-6.5 vs. St. John’s), and now face a similar situation vs. the UConn Huskies.
Neither Patrick Ngongba nor Caleb Foster (combined +15.45 BPR) is fully healthy, leaving the Blue Devils vulnerable.
Dan Hurley’s magic is out of this world. His teams are 21-5-1 ATS in their last 27 postseason tournament games. They have routinely thrived against elite competition, going 9-0 ATS in the Sweet 16 and beyond.
