Golden State enters a Phoenix rematch with a fresh core, while Geoff Clark targets the spread and two props built around shooting regression, perimeter defense, and a major rebounding edge.

Tonight's Suns vs. Warriors prediction centers on Golden State as a 2.5-point home favorite with a 227.5 total at Chase Center at 10 p.m. ET.

The Warriors have covered five straight games, and my picks target the spread plus two player-prop matchups with clear regression and rebounding angles.

Check out our latest NBA picks for Monday, Nov. 2.

 TOP PICK
Suns vs Warriors prediction: Warriors -2.5

Give me the Golden State Warriors -2.5, up to -4.5.

Golden State is on the second night of a back-to-back, but Steph Curry and Draymond Green rested Sunday, which should keep the team's core fresh.

The Warriors also covered as 9.5-point road underdogs in a 131-122 loss to the Phoenix Suns on October 24, and the final score undersold their performance. Despite missing Curry, Green, and shooting guard Brandin Podziemski, Golden State still won three of the game's four factors.

According to CleaningTheGlass.com, Podziemski owns a team-best +28.3 on/off net rating. His ball-handling lets Curry work more off the ball, while Phoenix is still searching for someone to consistently organize its offense.

That's a meaningful advantage.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Golden State has a massive strength-on-weakness edge on the boards. The Warriors lead the NBA in offensive rebounding rate, while the Suns have the worst defensive rebounding rate and are giving up the most second-chance points per game.

Suns vs Warriors combo

I'm using Golden State's moneyline instead of laying the points because I want to increase the win probability and make the team leg as clean as possible.

From there, I'm looking for the Warriors to win without needing Devin Booker to carry Phoenix offensively, while Warriors rookie forward Yaxel Lendeborg keeps making himself useful even with Curry and Podziemski back in the lineup.

The pieces fit together nicely. Golden State can control the game, Booker can come back down to earth after torching the Warriors in their first meeting, and Lendeborg can do his damage on the glass instead of needing another huge scoring night.

As always, all of my NBA combos are quarter-unit plays.

Suns vs Warriors combo

  • Golden State moneyline
  • Devin Booker Under 24.5 points
  • Yaxel Lendeborg 8+ rebounds

Suns vs Warriors player props

Suns player prop: Devin Booker Under 24.5 points

The Under on Devin Booker's 24.5-point prop is playable up to 58%.

He scored a game-high 43 points against the Warriors last month, but Booker hasn't scored more than 23 points in his other three games this season. Plus, Booker shot an ungodly 68.0% from the field in that game, a rate that's unlikely to be sustainable Monday.

Golden State's defensive anchor, Green, also missed the first meeting with Phoenix, as did Curry and Podziemski. My takeaway is that the Warriors' better perimeter defenders, led by Green, can focus on Booker while Curry and Podziemski handle the offensive duties.

Warriors player prop: Yaxel Lendeborg 8+ rebounds

This kid, Yaxel Lendeborg, is playing his a** off, and his 8+ rebounds prop is playable up to 53%.

Lendeborg grabbed at least nine rebounds in his first three games, and he leads Golden State's starting five in rebounding rate. On Sunday, Lendeborg grabbed just four rebounds in a 124-112 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

However, the Warriors ran the offense through Lendeborg, and he scored a game-high 37 points. Curry's and Podziemski's returns should reduce his shot volume, but I'm counting on Lendeborg affecting the game in other ways, such as rebounding.
