After a draining overtime battle yesterday, the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers could both use a day off — instead, they’re squaring off for a rematch tonight.

Toronto rallied for a nail-biting win last night behind 31 points from Scottie Barnes, and my 76ers vs. Raptors predictions expect Barnes to be a spark plug again here for Darko Rajakovic’s squad.

76ers vs Raptors best bet: Scottie Barnes Over 18.5 points (-120)

The Scottie Barnes All-Star campaign may not have won over the global NBA fan community — he was 14th among Eastern Conference players in the last round of voting results — but it would be a shock if he doesn’t end up making the cut.

Barnes is averaging 19.4 PPG this season to go with elite defense and steady playmaking, and I’m banking on another special performance here.

There are also signs that he’s taking things up a notch in 2026, with a 21.5 PPG mark so far in January, headlined by a 10-for-19 shooting effort last night in 43 minutes of action.

Scottie has gone past this number in five of his past nine outings, and this prop still has value tonight even if Brandon Ingram returns from a thumb issue.

Perhaps most encouragingly, Barnes has cut back on his 3-point attempts — he’s only shooting 34% from downtown this year — and that’s helped his efficiency. He’s shot 50% or better from the field in five of his past seven outings.

The road to this Over gets a little tougher if Joel Embiid and Paul George return for the Philadelphia 76ers here, but I still see Scottie doing the heavy lifting again for a Toronto Raptors offense that desperately needs his paint scoring.

76ers vs Raptors same-game parlay

Tyrese Maxey did most of his damage as a scorer last night, torching the Raptors for 38 points. But he could amp up his playmaking here (6.8 APG), especially if the 76ers have a full-strength starting five on the court tonight.

He’s even posted a double-digit assists tally twice in the past two weeks.

With the potential for more mouths to feed in the Philadelphia offense, I’ll take the Under on VJ Edgecombe’s 3-pointers.

He’s fallen short of this number in three straight games, and he’s only making his triples at a 35% clip so far in January.

76ers vs Raptors SGP

  • Scottie Barnes Over 18.5 points
  • Tyrese Maxey Over 6.5 assists
  • VJ Edgecombe Under 2.5 3-pointers

Our "from downtown" SGP: More assists for Mamu

Sandro Mamukelashvili had a quiet outing last night, but I see him bouncing back with more impressive numbers here.

He’s dished 2+ dimes in four of his last five games, including eight assists against the Hawks earlier this month, and he has more freedom to make plays when he’s part of the Toronto bench unit.

76ers vs Raptors SGP

  • Scottie Barnes Over 18.5 points
  • Tyrese Maxey Over 6.5 assists
  • VJ Edgecombe Under 2.5 3-pointers
  • Sandro Mamukelashvili Over 1.5 assists

76ers vs Raptors odds

  • Spread: 76ers -3.5 | Raptors +3.5
  • Moneyline: 76ers -158 | Raptors +134
  • Over/Under: Over 220.5 | Under 220.5
