HR picks for June 14
Aaron Judge (+275 at DraftKings)
Aaron Judge has essentially locked up the AL MVP Award already, and it’s not even the All-Star break.
The slugger is shining in all ways, hitting .390 with 26 home runs and 60 RBI. The veteran has five long balls in his last five contests and just took Garrett Crochet deep in Friday’s loss to the Boston Red Sox.
The Yanks face their AL East rivals once again tonight, and Judge is 1-for-2 with a homer against Red Sox starter Hunter Dobbins, who has allowed six home runs in 10 appearances.
While Judge does swing it well against lefties, he’s done most of his home run damage against righties. In fact, 17 of his bombs have come vs. right-handed hurlers. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Judge stays hot tonight against Boston.
Seiya Suzuki (+360 at DraftKings)
Seiya Suzuki is a stud in the heart of the Chicago Cubs’ lineup. The Japanese star has 17 home runs and 57 RBI while batting .269. Suzuki clubbed 20+ homers in back-to-back seasons, too.
The 30-year-old has three bombs in June, and they’ve all come in the last seven games. Suzuki is in the middle of a five-game hitting streak as well. He’s never faced Pittsburgh Pirates righty Mike Burrows, but Suzuki has clubbed nine homers off right-handed pitchers.
Also, Suzuki has four bombs against the Bucs already in 2025. Expect Suzuki to keep it rolling and potentially put a baseball in the bleachers.
Jackson Chourio (+700 at DraftKings)
Jackson Chourio showed serious promise in his rookie season in 2024, going deep 21 times while hitting .275. Chourio is already up to 12 homers this season and remains on track to surpass last year’s total.
The 21-year-old has two bombs in his last four appearances and has reached safely in five consecutive games.
The Brew Crew will take on the St. Louis Cardinals today, and they will send Andre Pallante to the mound. He’s struggled immensely, posting a 4.75 ERA and surrendering 11 long balls in only 13 starts.
Chourio is 1-for-1 lifetime against Pallante with four walks. While Chourio’s average is a lot better against lefties, he’s smacked eight homers off righties. He’s a potential candidate to leave the yard this afternoon.
