The Los Angeles Dodgers are just one win away from punching their ticket to the World Series for a second consecutive fall, and they'll host the Milwaukee Brewers at Chavez Ravine tonight.

Milwaukee hasn’t had an answer for the Los Angeles pitching staff, and my Brewers vs. Dodgers predictions expect the defending champs to be celebrating a convincing sweep following Game 4.

Find out more in my MLB picks for Friday, October 17.

First pitch is set for 8:38 p.m. ET from Dodger Stadium, with the game airing on TBS.

Brewers vs Dodgers Game 4 predictions

Who will win Brewers vs Dodgers Game 4

The Dodgers have superstar Shohei Ohtani starting, while the Brewers are expected to lean on veteran lefty Jose Quintana for big innings Friday.

There’s been no comparison between the two lineups through three games, and this pitching matchup projects for more of the same in the NLCS.

Brewers vs Dodgers best bet: Dodgers -1.5 run line (+110)

Let’s face it.

It took an all-world outing from Milwaukee Brewers rookie Jacob Misiorowski in bulk relief to keep Game 3 close, and I’m not expecting lefty Jose Quintana and the Milwaukee bullpen to have the same success tonight.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have received elite pitching through the first three games of the series, and righty Shohei Ohtani has been nothing short of spectacular since returning to the mound in June and stretching down over the summer.

Ohtani finished the regular season with a 2.87 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and 2.45 xFIP across 47 innings, and he was even better at home with respective 1.71,  0.71, and 2.17 marks.

Of course, he also fanned nine across six frames in winning fashion against a much tougher Philadelphia Phillies lineup in the NLDS.

Even better, the Milwaukee lineup will largely be facing Ohtani for the first time, with Andrew Vaughn, Danny Jansen, and Jake Bauers combining for 10 career plate appearances against the righty.

The Dodgers' lineup has also been a consistent presence this postseason with a second-ranked wOBA and fourth-ranked ISO, while Milwaukee checks in with seventh overall marks in both.

Of course, Los Angeles also finished the regular season with a third-ranked wOBA and second-ranked ISO against southpaws, and respective second and first overall ranks at Dodger Stadium.

L.A. will convincingly book its trip to the World Series tonight.

Brewers vs Dodgers Game 4 same-game parlay (SGP)

As good as the Los Angeles rotation has been, Milwaukee is sporting a .137 BABIP despite a respectable 43.3% hard-hit rate.

Those two extremes are brutal to sustain. If there’s a splash of statistical correction in the Brewers' favor, the loaded Dodgers lineup will do the heavy lifting for this Over.

Los Angeles star Mookie Betts has had his fair share of tough luck in the NLCS, too. While he’s teed off for a solid 44.4% hard-hit rate, the three-time World Series champion has gone just 1-for-11 at the dish with a .111 BABIP.

I’m expecting the slump to end tonight for Betts. He went 10-for-26 with three extra base hits and a .429 wOBA across six games to start the playoffs, after all.

Brewers vs Dodgers SGP (+400)

  • Dodgers -1.5 (+110)
  • Over 8 (-105)
  • Mookie Betts Over 1.5 total bases (-103)

Brewers vs Dodgers home run pick for Game 4

Sticking with Betts, he posted a monster .238 ISO with 29 home runs against lefties from 2022 through last year, so dropping to a .164 mark with just seven round trippers during the 2025 regular season is another call for positive regression to answer tonight.

Brewers vs Dodgers Game 4 odds

  • Moneyline: Milwaukee +165 | Los Angeles -200
  • Run line: Milwaukee +1.5 (-130) | Los Angeles +110
  • Over/Under: Over 7.5 (-120) | Under 7.5 (+100)
