Blue Jays vs Astros best bet: George Springer Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI (+100)
Veteran Toronto Blue Jays slugger George Springer is in the middle of a 10-game hitting streak, during which he owns a scorching .984 OPS, and he has always raked at Daikin Park, posting an .812 OPS in the ballpark he called home for seven seasons.
Houston Astros right-hander Hunter Brown has an excellent fastball but weaker offspeed and breaking stuff, and Springer is exactly the type to exploit it, hitting .429 against curveballs.
He’s a limited 4-for-10 with a homer against Brown as well, but the real edge is his red-hot form and his comfort in this park.
I’d play this until -120.

Grabbing Springer Over 0.5 total bases doubles down on his success from my best bet with a slightly safer leg, and I’ll add the Blue Jays moneyline at plus money.
The swing leg is Jameson Taillon Under 2.5 earned runs in his Blue Jays debut. The deadline pickup needs to keep the Astros in check, but if he does, this plus-money parlay pays off nicely.

Blue Jays vs Astros home run pick: Jesus Sanchez (+750)
I’m taking Jesus Sanchez because he’s one of the Blue Jays’ best fastball hitters, which gives him high upside against Brown's excellent four-seamer (+6 run value) and sinker (+3 run value). Springer projects for hits against Brown, but I’m less sure about the power, so I’m turning to Sanchez for the long ball.
Sanchez swings for the fences and shouldn’t be overwhelmed by good velocity, slugging .448 against four-seamers and .360 against sinkers.
He has camouflaged his pop this year with just seven homers, but he leads the Blue Jays with a .453 xSLG, a sign there’s more power under the hood than the results show. There’s real risk here, so don’t empty the bankroll, but a quarter-unit value play is the way to go.
