Like a Good Neighbor, Missouri’s Sportsbooks are There

Missouri’s recently launched online sportsbooks are set to get a ton of business from residents of the Show-Me State, but don’t overlook the action they’ll get from neighboring states as well.

As I’ve written about before, Kansas’ online sportsbooks were drawing bettors from Missouri for years. Now, with online sports betting live in Missouri, those bettors can stay home and wager. Missourians even have access to something that Kansans don’t, which are the higher limits offered by Circa.

Furthermore, to the east of Missouri lies Illinois. The Land of Lincoln recently put a per-bet tax in place, and operators are passing those added costs on to consumers using transaction fees and higher wagering minimums. It's possible Illinois sports bettors start traveling across the border into Missouri to make bets.

There's also Oklahoma to the southwest of Missouri, where there is no legalized sports betting. Then there's Arkansas to the south, which has legalized sports betting but none of the operators that have gone live in Missouri.

In short, Missouri’s sportsbooks could pick up a fair amount of business from bettors in neighboring states.

Circa CEO Speaks on Missouri Sports Betting Launch

I just hung up with Circa CEO Derek Stevens after speaking with him for about 20 minutes about the launch of their online sportsbook in Missouri. A big FYI he wanted me to relay is that the Circa Missouri app is the WHITE one in the app store, not the blue one. The former is Circa's new-and-improved sportsbook, which it only recently began rolling out to bettors. So, if you're in Missouri and want to use Circa's app, it's the white one.

Circa, if you recall, won one of the two "untethered" licenses for mobile sports wagering in the Show-Me State. It was a bit of a shock, as Circa was up against DraftKings (which got the other untethered license) and FanDuel (which still found a partner to access the market) for the permit.

But now Circa is up and running with its low-hold, high-volume model of sports betting in Missouri. Stevens told me their first bet was a relatively small one on the Blues to win tonight in regulation. However, the Circa CEO added that they've seen quite a few four-figure wagers made, which is the sort of action Stevens and Co. are known for. In fact, it was that willingness to book bigger bets that helped Circa differentiate itself from DraftKings and FanDuel and earn an untethered license.

Our Picks and Best Bets For Tonight's St. Louis Blues Game

In his Ducks vs Blues picks, Todd Cordell highlights Jordan Kyrou as the top player to target on Monday night. Cordell notes that Kyrou has historically dominated Anaheim, recording points in seven of the last nine meetings and producing multiple points in three of the last four. With the Ducks playing the second half of a road back-to-back and missing starting goaltender Lukas Dostal, Cordell expects Kyrou to stay productive.

Jordan Kyrou Over 0.5 points (-115)

Cordell’s best bet is Jordan Kyrou Over 0.5 points (-115). Although Kyrou is off to a slower-than-usual season, he’s now skating alongside Robert Thomas at 5-on-5 and on the top power play — a combination that consistently boosts his scoring rates. The matchup further tilts in his favor, as Anaheim’s defensive metrics are poor and the likely goaltending tandem of Petr Mrazek (.876 SV%) and Ville Husso (.820 SV%) has struggled.

Cordell also offers a same-game parlay built around Anaheim’s unreliable penalty kill and St. Louis’ offensive upside:

Ducks vs Blues SGP (Todd Cordell):

  • Jordan Kyrou Over 0.5 points
  • Cam Fowler Over 0.5 assists
  • Pavel Buchnevich Over 1.5 shots on goal

Overall, Cordell’s Ducks vs Blues Predictions lean heavily toward St. Louis’ top playmakers — especially Kyrou — exploiting a fatigued Ducks team in a highly favorable matchup.

Sunday Night Football in Week 14 marks a milestone for the Show-Me State: the first Kansas City Chiefs game ever played with legal online sports betting available in Missouri. After years of anticipation, fans can finally wager on their hometown team from within state lines — and the debut comes with a primetime matchup as the Chiefs host the Houston Texans at Arrowhead.

Oddsmakers have Kansas City as a small favorite across the board, reflecting both respect for Patrick Mahomes at home and Houston’s rise as a legitimate AFC threat. Totals around 41–42 hint at a tighter, more controlled game rather than a high-scoring shootout.

For Missouri bettors, this matchup is the perfect entry point:

  • A competitive spread (+3.5 / -3.5)
  • Multiple trustworthy moneyline options
  • Favorable pricing across DraftKings, BetMGM, FanDuel, and Fanatics

On the field, the Texans bring an explosive, fearless offensive identity capable of stressing defenses vertically, but Kansas City counters with one of the league’s strongest defensive units and a home atmosphere built for primetime. The Chiefs haven’t always looked like their usual offensive juggernaut, but Arrowhead under the lights — combined with Mahomes’ late-season urgency — sets the stage for a strong showing.

With legal wagering now live, Missouri fans get to pair the state’s most powerful sports brand with the excitement of real, regulated betting for the first time. Chiefs vs. Texans isn’t just a matchup — it’s the official kickoff of Missouri’s legal sports betting era for Chiefs Kingdom.

St. Louis Blues vs. Anaheim Ducks Preview And Odds

With Missouri sports betting officially live, eight online sportsbooks are offering welcome promos to first-time bettors. And the state gets an ideal opening-night spotlight: Anaheim Ducks vs. St. Louis Blues at Enterprise Center.

The Blues enter the matchup on a two-game win streak after beating Ottawa 4–3 and Utah 1–0 over the weekend. Their defensive structure has tightened up, highlighted by successful late-game stops and a strong penalty kill. With sharp performances from both Jordan Binnington and Joel Hofer, the Blues look to carry that momentum into their bid for a third straight win, something they haven’t done since early October.

The Ducks, meanwhile, come in struggling. After a hot 11–3–1 start, they’ve cooled off with a 4–6–0 stretch and allowed 14 goals across their last three losses. Injuries in net are adding pressure: Lukas Dostal is out, Petr Mrazek left Sunday’s game hurt, and former Blues goalie Ville Husso may shoulder the load tonight.

As the puck drops on both the NHL action and Missouri’s new sports betting era, the Blues look energized while the Ducks search for stability — setting up an intriguing first night for bettors in the Show-Me State.

Caesars Sportsbook delivers $150 bonus for winning bets in Missouri

The Caesars Sportsbook Missouri promo code COVERSMO provides new users with an excellent opportunity to earn substantial bonus bets on their first wager. After registering with the required promo code and making a minimum $5 deposit, bettors must place their first cash wager of $5 or more on any market with odds of -500 or longer within 30 days of registration. If that initial bet wins, Caesars awards $150 in bonus bets, distributed as six separate $25 bonus bet credits.

Consider targeting tonight's Blues vs. Ducks matchup or tomorrow's Missouri Tigers vs. Notre Dame game with your qualifying wager. If you bet $5 on the Blues to win at -150 odds and they secure victory, you would receive your original $5 stake plus winnings, along with the $150 bonus bet package. However, if your initial wager loses, you receive no bonus bets but only lose your original $5 stake. The bonus bets must be used within 30 days of being credited and will expire if unused.

Key terms include restrictions on certain bet types for the qualifying wager. Ineligible wagers include those placed using Reward Credits, Profit Boosts, Bonus Bets, Super Boosts, Round Robins, and Early Cash Out bets. Additionally, using a profit boost on your first cash wager disqualifies you from receiving the bonus bets even if your bet wins.

How to claim your Caesars Missouri welcome offer

Claiming this welcome offer requires following a straightforward registration and betting process. First, create a new Caesars Sportsbook account using promo code COVERSMO while physically located in Missouri. Provide the required personal information, including your date of birth, email address, and residential address, to complete the registration process.

  1. Register for a new account using promo code COVERSMO
  2. Make a minimum $10 initial deposit to fund your account
  3. Place a qualifying $5 wager on any eligible sports market
  4. Receive $150 in bonus bets if your first wager wins
  5. Use bonus bets within 30 days before they expire

Remember that winnings from bonus bets can be withdrawn once wagers settle, though the bonus bet amount itself is not included in any payouts. For more detailed information about this operator's features and offerings, read our comprehensive Caesars Sportsbook Review.

Caesars Crossed The Parlay Rubicon In Missouri

According to Caesars, the first bet placed using its mobile app in Missouri was a $5, five-leg NHL moneyline parlay that needs, among other things, Missouri's own St. Louis Blues to beat the Anaheim Ducks tonight. If that happens, and then the Flyers, Devils, Jets, and Utah Mammoth also win, the wager will pay that bettor $66.86.

What You Need to Know (and Have)

Before Missouri sports bettors start stringing together 12-leg same-game parlays and whatnot, they’re going to have to check some boxes first.

First things first: you have to be 21. That’s the legal minimum age for sports wagering in Missouri.

Secondly, signing up for an online sportsbook account means you will need to provide some information about yourself, such as your Social Security number. So have some ID handy, because sportsbook operators need to verify that you are who you say you are.

You're also going to need to fund your account. This means using a credit or debit card or online money transfer. And shop around! Missouri’s sportsbook operators are offering a variety of sign-up bonuses, so see which ones work best for you.

Show Me... Some Money Left on the Table

Yes, Missourians are now free to sign up with state-authorized sportsbooks and begin wagering. But… on what?

The Missouri sports betting rules allow for a wide variety of wagering markets. The only things off-limits under Missouri law will be betting on youth or high school events, and college player props for games involving Show-Me State schools.

Unfortunately, the timing of Missouri's sports betting launch (which was pushed to the last possible moment by the Secretary of State's office), means bettors missed the bulk of another weekly football slate.

There is a Monday Night Football matchup this evening featuring the New York Giants and New England Patriots, but Missouri bettors would have probably enjoyed a wager or two on the Kansas City-Dallas game on Thanksgiving. The final regular season game for Mizzou football was on Saturday as well.

Nevertheless! There is a bunch of NBA basketball tonight, and a home game for the NHL's St. Louis Blues. So it's not all bad. It just could have been... better.

Show-Me State Sports Betting Goes Live

Good morning! Missouri officially launched legalized sports betting today, the 39th state in the U.S. to do so. Today’s launch comes more than a year after Missouri voters approved a ballot measure authorizing in-person and online sports betting, and eight mobile operators are poised to go live and accept action. They are:

  1. DraftKings
  2. FanDuel
  3. BetMGM
  4. Caesars
  5. bet365
  6. Fanatics
  7. Circa
  8. theScore Bet

Underdog was supposed to be in that bunch, but decided to abandon a Missouri sports betting license and instead stick to offering DFS and prediction markets in the Show-Me State. It could be a busy day, so we'll provide regular updates here on how regulated sports betting is rolling out in Missouri.
