Members of the Minnesota National Guard handed out coffee, hot chocolate, donuts and hand warmers to protesters and others [but not trump's Gestapo] congregated outside the Whipple Federal Building in frigid Minneapolis temperatures Sunday.
A guardsman on the scene told CNN affiliate WCCO that the hospitality was their “demonstration of safety and security and that they’re here to help.”
The guardsmen were wearing reflective yellow vests, which the Guard has said is “to help distinguish them from [trump's GESTAPO].”
