Some people are misguided because most in here were all for supporting corrupt Ukraine, but are heavily against supporting Israel to take out Iran's regime....
This is 'flag jumping'. Went out and got an Ukrainian flag, traded that in for a Venezuelan flag, traded that for a Palestinian flag, then traded that for an Iranian flag.
Most people do not even understand where these places are on the map nor what is happening internally in these places.
They simply jump on the media-fed narrative -- then go grab that flag of the day.

@ABooksNightmare Is the US supposed to sit by and ignore the massacring of 35,000 citizens who were protesting against the way they were treated and for wanting freedom? This argument, as well, cannot stand on its own. There are plenty of other examples where is happening and has happened in the past and the USA did very little, if anything.
But is a fact...they did massacre their own citizens by virtually execution....the fact that it happened, along with the other points I made, is a reason to get rid of the regime...there are other factors as well, but this really moved the point to the forefront and allowed the US to not sit by waiting...

I do not say this often but this is correct. If we were at all concerned about the loss of life from abuses to citizens we would have nuked Africa in its entirety decades ago and SA would not be our best buddies, Pakistan and even India and North Korea, China there are so many countries that harm their citizens and Iran is a small fry nothing with regards to this subject. I am not happy that anyone dies, every single life is important as much as you or me or anyone here but this reasoning to start a war just does not work when you have many other reasons which DO make more sense because the facts prove it so.

Negotiator Steve Witkoff yesterday said “I can tell you that yesterday, on the call with President Trump, the Russians said they have not been sharing,” and added, “That’s what they said. So, we can take them at their word, but they did say that.” He continued, “So, I, you know, that's a better question for the intel people, but let's hope that they're not sharing.”
What a patsy! Shove those hopes, prayers & good thoughts up your wazoo.
So how did Iran surgically strike our outposts when they were unable to have such a high rate of precision in the past?
What a bunch of incompetent pricks.
Meanwhile, Jared and Witkoff, 2 real estate, unqualified goons with a real estate pedophile at the helm running our negotiations with dreams of a beach front resort in Gaza, a Trump hotel in Moscow and the goal of lining their pockets with taxpayer money. This fucker has visited Moscow 7 times & never visited Ukraine during negotiations.
That tells us all we need to know.

So far, seven U.S. service members have been killed as a result of the conflict and multiple have been injured.
The Pentagon has spent $6.5 billion worth of munitions in the first two days of the attack, according to the Daily Mail.
Gas prices have increased to an average of $3.6 per gallon from $2.9 per gallon before the attack happenedjust doing real math here at the wropins expenditures 1 trillion a year, we use 377 million gallons of day in just gasoline so another trillion or so including diesel in addition to what we did pay,
and cost of human lives too high to calculate for the entire year with factors of disease malnutrition and civil unrest in the regional theater
so can someone pull the plug on this before we bankrupt America like the idiot in 1600 Penn Ave has done to so many businesses

I wouldn't call Iran a small fry, it produces massive amounts of oil and controls the straight of hormuz...I wouldn't call that a small fry...
I will, however, say that it seems like Trump is trying to choke China ahead of his meeting with them...First Venezuela and now Iran....you could make a case that this is a very relevant point under the guise of removing the death to America crew...If we truly were to know, there is a list of why this happened, but there also may very well be one particular reason that is greater than them all....

You give him too much credit, Trump isnt calling any shot that he does not watch on social media or someone tells him and he runs with whatever nonsense is put in his brain. So many instances of fake garbage he falls for and calls it truth. Someone needs to control his social media feed and just have it be golf network and Teletubbies that way so many stupid unfounded narratives will stop entering his universe.
China isnt going to be outplayed by the US especially by a lamebrain like Trump who has the absolute clown show of cabinet members. Someone needs to tell Marco that if Trump buys you shoes that are 2 sizes too large that you do NOT have to wear them to get suckup points.
If China wants to work with Russia or Iran or NK they will do so it isnt like we have any leverage over them...tariffs were an illegal laugher, if you threaten them too much they stop buying treasuries and oopsie daisy Trump has to pay even more in interest costs. Leverage on China is something Trump has ZERO of.

This is correct. I have detailed this at length in a few places. You can see it starting with the Panama Canal situation and the influencing of South American countries, besides Venezuela.

This is kind of a counter point that you and others made on this very topic and it blows up in your face. Hormuz oil is FROM who, GOING where? Hormuz is Brent oil from OPEC members going to countries that BUY OPEC oil...isnt the laughable Trump narrative that the US is energy independent and drill baby drill blah blah blah? This entire powder keg proves the point that the US is NOT energy independent and cannot be unless we force all WT production to stay on this continent, stop the entire function of free markets and isolate our supply and demand to our OWN sources. Trump causes Hormuz to hit US citizens in the wallet even though we do not consume BRENT oil, thus Trump has ZERO control over his stupid narrative of energy independence and drill baby drill garbage. It is almost like Trump has no concept of impacts and what happens when you pull a hair brain scheme like letting Israel wack their enemies on your dime, well its hitting the US and hurting your lead in congress so maybe not such a brilliant decision there Donnie.

In wars, truth is often the first casualty. Trump lies constantly. For examples, war ends quickly, Iranians overthrow regime and strait remains open for shipping of oil. Unlike stupid Trump, other presidents wisely avoided Iran war because of the risks of escalation, long war and high oil prices. Trump is known to prefer watching Fox news instead of reading intelligence reports. World leaders are shocked by his ignorance.

Six French soldiers were wounded in a drone strike in the Erbil region of Iraq, said Col. Guillaume Vernet, a spokesperson for the French Defense Staff. Colonel Vernet said the soldiers had been conducting counter-terrorism training alongside Iraqi partners, and were taken to the nearest medical center for treatment.

CNN found that Trump administration has underestimated war impact on strait of Hormuz. Problem is there is no good way to open oil shipping by military force according to Defense priorities foundation. Cheap and easy for Iran to lay mines. Expensive and hard for US to clear mines. There is no lasting military solution because even if strait is opened now, what keeps it open? Better to negotiate a diplomatic solution but war makes that unlikely.

well are they wrong? Did Trump anticipate the Hormuz situation? I would say the answer is an obvious NO so even though you dislike CNN they were correct with their reporting.

Ok so your message served what purpose? CNN got it right and Trump shockingly was unprepared yet again. Trump thinks his big fat mouth and his brand will get the results HE anticipates and he is completely wrong and who gets to pay for this lack of intelligence? The US consumer because again shockingly even though Hormuz is BRENT oil it impacts WT prices...capitalism and profits impact global pricing elasticity who would have thought that?
High oil is GOOD for the US we are making SO MUCH MONEY...let that sink in you Trump fans, you are backing an out of touch moron but hey you knew that already and keep doing so anyway.
