    It's a target in america.

16 mass shootings in 12 days throughout America.

More children die of gun violence than car accidents or cancer combined. Gun violence is the number 1 killer of  children in America.

A large percent of their gun deaths are suicides.

Everyone knew that shutting down everything was going to have a severe impact on children and progressives didn’t care.

Trump and DeSantis were right again.

And they aren't seriously outdated facts either.  It's obvious in which states the problems lie.

    Those stats are very telling

And they aren't seriously outdated facts either.  It's obvious in which states the problems lie.

You can look up the counties where the problems are. They’re all far left hell holes dominated by democrats for decades. That’s just a fact. I’m sorry that it’s uncomfortable for you people to accept.

A 8 year-old third-grader from NH was shot in the neck and killed while on vacation in SC by a man taking random shots at cars passing by his home.

A South Carolina coroner reported that the boy was shot in the neck and died. His father was shot in the leg and survived.

Police said Charles Montgomery Allen , 40, is accused of randomly shooting at cars driving by his house Monday on Old River Road in Florence, South Carolina. Three cars were hit.

So is this Allen guy mental or just fucking stupid?

NY just passed a major package of gun safety bills...

    * Raise age to buy semiautomatic rifle to 21, & require permit for all buyers

    * Microstamping on shell casings to make tracking easier

    * Strengthen red flag law

    * Ban civilians from buying body armor

Nearly 90 percent of suspects arrested on gun charges in 2020 were back on the streets as of December 12, 2020 , which the NYPD says has fueled a historic spike in shootings that have left more than 1,756 dead or wounded.

About 3,345 of the 3793 arrested between Jan 1 to Nov 30 for firearms crimes — 88 percent — were let go, according to department data. Just 450 remain in jail, the NYPD said.

Some of the suspects posted bail, but judges were required to release others under new reform laws that prohibit them from setting monetary bail on some gun-possession cases. The crime became ineligible for bail in most circumstances under the Jan. 1 law changes, which mandate judges to release collared suspects, with no money down, on hundreds of charges considered “non-violent.”

The NYPD has repeatedly blamed 2020's stunning 96-percent surge in shootings on the loosened bail laws and early release of prisoners due to COVID concerns.

Philly this year has dismissed half of the illegal gun possession charges, those who could NOT possess a firearm.

Doesn't matter what law you pass if already decided not to enforce the laws on the books. Criminals go free, law abiding get the shaft, the Democrat way.

Gifford law center reveals undeniable correlation between strong gun laws and low gun death rates.  For examples, death rates (per 100,000 residents) of strongest gun law states.   California 8.5.  New Jersey 5.  Connecticut 6.  Hawaii 3.4.  Illinois 14.1.

Weakest gun law states.  Arkansas 22.6.  Wyoming 25.9.  Idaho 17.6.  Missouri 23.9.  Mississippi 28.6.

But strong laws can't fully protect a state if neighbors haven't done their part.  Gun trafficking from states with weak laws have undermined protections in states with strong laws.  Unless every state supports gun safety, US will continue to have one of the highest gun death rates in the world.

The Brady Campaign Against Gun Violence ironically makes this clear with its ratings for states based on gun laws. “Gun freedom” states that score poorly, like New Hampshire, Vermont, Idaho, and Oregon, have some of the lowest homicide rates. Conversely, “gun-control-loving” states that received high scores, like Maryland and Illinois, experience some of the nation’s highest homicide rates.

Republicans argue gun laws are useless because criminals won't follow them.  But that way of thinking calls into question all laws.  Actually, a lie to claim gun laws won't change anything.  For examples, higher age for buying guns could have made a difference in Uvalde, Buffalo, Santa Fe, Parkland, Newtown and Columbine.  Most mass murderers have no criminal record.  Of course, no gun law alone can stop gun epidemic.  But together, they can make a serious impact that save lives.

The risk of motor vehicle crashes is higher among teens aged 16–19 than among any other age group. In fact, per mile driven, teen drivers in this age group are nearly three times as likely as drivers aged 20 or older to be in a fatal crash.

Progressives aren’t trying to raise the driving age to 20 because they haven’t been told to care about that.

Remember when that 18 year old bought a car in the morning and drove through a classroom later that day killing everyone inside?    Neither do I

Then again, Ted Cruz would blame the door

Comparing teenage car accidents to pre-meditated mass murders of innocent children with assault rifles.

Gun deaths in 2021 in the US - 20,700

Abortion deaths in 2021 in the US - 660,000 to 886,000

Liberal logic - take away guns

also liberal logic - make abortion deaths more accessible so there's more.

Comparing gun deaths and murders to abortion is even more nonsensical than comparisons between teenage car accidents and mass shootings. an_light

if you cannot identify the difference between a mother making a difficult decision to get an abortion procedure to address an unborn fetus because of health problems and concerns and innocent children being targeted and killed at school with an assault rifle, you need a mental evaluation.

This nonsensical post of yours isn't making a reasonable case for your perspective. an_light

"liberals" are also not trying to make abortion more accessible. Instead, Democrats are attempting to preserve abortion rights that were already in place for 5+ decades with the decision outlined in Roe v. Wade. Clearly, you do not understand this.

This nonsensical post of yours isn't making a reasonable case for your perspective.  "liberals" are also not trying to make abortion more accessible. Instead, Democrats are attempting to preserve abortion rights that were already in place for 5+ decades with the decision outlined in Roe v. Wade. Clearly, you do not understand this.

Well, if the mother and father can not raise a child, how'd they get pregnant in the first place? Are they irresponsible, just like some gun owners? There's plenty of contraception for protection.

I didn't compare them, you're trying to. I'm just stating stats. I'm comparing the hypocrisy of trying to take away guns because the tool can kill, and having easier access to abortions which leads to more deaths. Seems like democrats should be trying to make both more difficult to access of the tools needed, right?  Since they are trying to protect life.

Progressives aren’t trying to raise the driving age to 20 because they haven’t been told to care about that. Comparing teenage car accidents to pre-meditated mass murders of innocent children with assault rifles.  Conservative Logic.   Gun deaths in 2021 in the US - 20,700 Abortion deaths in 2021 in the US - 660,000 to 886,000   Liberal logic - take away guns also liberal logic - make abortion deaths more accessible so there's more. Comparing gun deaths and murders to abortion is even more nonsensical than comparisons between teenage car accidents and mass shootings.  if you cannot identify the difference between a mother making a difficult decision to get an abortion procedure to address an unborn fetus because of health problems and concerns and innocent children being targeted and killed at school with an assault rifle, you need a mental evaluation.
