Shooting at Minnesota church is typical. Shooter brought gun legally. Over half of all mass shootings are stopped by the shooter either killing self or leaving the scene. Less common is for the police or a good guy with a gun to arrive in time to stop the shooter. This is another reason why prevention by gun control works better in reducing gun violence.
