    Have any of you guys seen zeitgeist ?

    They actually have some pretty compelling evidence about the type of engine that came out of the pentagon.  Also the size of the damage to the building was much less than a 757 wingspan and they even have un burnt chairs and desks right next to the damaged area.

    One other thing, what hutch said about no experts or structural engineers etc. supporting the idea that the towers couldn't have fallen as officially stated is complete bullshit. There are numerous experts on both sides of that debate.

    What else did you "learn" from this genius?

    What always bothered me was how quickly they had photos, names, back stories, dossiers, all kinds of info about each of the hijackers within a day of the attack. Thought it strange.

    I think a conspiracy theory is bullshit....just my opinion...
    Now I have to get back up in the attic, and finish lining my roof with tinfoil.  Tired of wearing my tinfoil hat in the house.  but I still wear my tinfoil shoes, even in bed....

    Evidence of thermite being involved?  Where is it?

    WTC security withdrawls before impact, but hundreds of firemen and other folks enter the building and sacrifice their lives.  Makes a ton of sense.

    And if you think thermite was used, please post evidence of that.

    didnt read the entire thread, didnt want to risk getting an aneurysm reading all the CT BS.

    im a civil engineer,  the day after 9/11, in structures class, our professor told us an anecdote from the 80's.  basically the CE community realized that skyscrapers would not be able to withstand an airplane collision. they were designed to face a great number of forces, airplanes not being one, so skyscrapers were then built with basically an interior corridor that would protect from a airplane strike.

    to those claiming there were explosions in the lower floors.  i wasnt there but i would bet a large sum of money that there were explosions.  you know what caused them?? no, not TNT or gov't planted devices, but the F*CKING thousands of gallons of fuel that were on the plane!!!!! i really dont see why its a hard concept to understand.  when the plane hit the tower, i would assume the fuselage leaked, gravity dictates the gas falls down.  now you have all this gas collecting somewhere on the floors below and all you need is an ignition source and boom, explosion.

    finally, to those that say the fuel doesnt burn hot enough to melt steel.... you dont need to completely melt the steel for it to fail, its not like it goes from perfectly normal, than all of a sudden hits a certain temperature and disintegrates.  when the steel is heated, it loses compressive strength, the hotter it gets, the more strength it loses.  just think of eating taffy on a summer day.  when you first get it, it may be fairly rigid.  leave it out in the sun for a while, and it becomes fairly squishy.

    im a civil engineer,  the day after 9/11, in structures class, our professor told us an anecdote from the 80's.  basically the CE community realized that skyscrapers would not be able to withstand an airplane collision. they were designed to face a great number of forces, airplanes not being one, so skyscrapers were then built with basically an interior corridor that would protect from a airplane strike.

    to those claiming there were explosions in the lower floors.  i wasnt there but i would bet a large sum of money that there were explosions.  you know what caused them?? no, not TNT or gov't planted devices, but the F*CKING thousands of gallons of fuel that were on the plane!!!!! i really dont see why its a hard concept to understand.  when the plane hit the tower, i would assume the fuselage leaked, gravity dictates the gas falls down.  now you have all this gas collecting somewhere on the floors below and all you need is an ignition source and boom, explosion.

    finally, to those that say the fuel doesnt burn hot enough to melt steel.... you dont need to completely melt the steel for it to fail, its not like it goes from perfectly normal, than all of a sudden hits a certain temperature and disintegrates.  when the steel is heated, it loses compressive strength, the hotter it gets, the more strength it loses.  just think of eating taffy on a summer day.  when you first get it, it may be fairly rigid.  leave it out in the sun for a while, and it becomes fairly squishy.

    They actually have some pretty compelling evidence about the type of engine that came out of the pentagon.

    And feel free to post the "compelling evidence" in regards to the type of engine that came out of the pentagon.

    Notice how all the conspiracy people who have posted in this thread haven't posted one shred of evidence.  LMAO.

    All they say is WTC #7.  Or "pretty compelling evidence" (without posting it, BTW), or "some things didn't add up for me" (without saying what specifically didn't add up).  And saying there were experts who disagreed that the planes brought the buildings down (but posting no links to those expert opinions).

    4 things, the section where the plane hit the pentagon was originally designed to be a library so all the walls and floors were basically made twice as strong to withstand the projected loads.  when the plane hit, its not like there would be an exact imprint of the silhouette of the plane, the wings are flexible, it is possible they tore off on impact and didnt remain rigidly attached to the main cabin.

    so i guess the rescue workers who pulled dead bodies off the plane are full of crap too? and must be working with the gov't on the conspiracy theory, right?

    you claim the gov't is soooo sophisticated to pull off by far the greatest scheme in the history of mankind but somehow someone decided to get a 757, but change the engine on it????? that doesnt make sense.

    the edge of the damage to the building could certainly be far away from the fire that ensued. a 757 wingspan is 124', thats 62 feet from the center of the plane and were the fuel/fire is, not exactly out of the realm of possibilities (sarcasm)

    By the way, they identified all but one of the bodies of the people who died at the pentagon.  I suppose all the medical staff.....the coroner....emergency personnel.....technicians.....they were in on it as well.

    Evidence that the thermite argument is B.S.

    I would like to nominate :  HutchEmAll  - for "Most dedicated specific thread contributor of the month".  Seriously !

    Too bad Covers.com doesn't actually award members for this.

    If anyone was "on the fence", about the 9/11 tragedy and possible "inside job plausibility"...Hutch seems to have provided 'nuff for you to STFU.

    IMHO !

    God bless those lost and God bless their sympathizers !

    Should be tensile strength.  Otherwise, spot on.  Other explanations for the "explosions" compressed air excaping as the floors subsequently pancaked down.

    You pretty much know the deal when you ask for specifics and people disappear into the woodwork.  I'm all for a good discussion, but whatever happened to the facts?

    OakleyDoak-

    This same thread was created last year and was interesting so I decided to do some research.  It was fascinating so I just ended up reading a ton of material on it.  If you read the criticisms of "Loose Change," you find out that there is about a 100 legitimate forensic questions that never are even answered by those frauds.  How could the US government pay off the 100's or 1000's of engineers and technicians who all say the same thing.....that it was terrorism?

    Still waiting for the experts (with any reputation) to provide evidence that this was an inside job.

    Yeah that looked like a real educated answer.....Jet fuel found a way to escape the initial blast and waited for another source to ignite. Somehow it even made it's way to the basement.

    What I would like to know is .....

    How can the most secure building on the planet [ the pentagon ] NOT have a clear picture of a PLANE hitting the building?....Please tell me that it is confidential.

    How could a pilot that could barely fly a 2 seater ....maneuver a huge passenger plane perfectly into a building about a foot off the ground when the law of gravity makes it impossible to do so without hitting the ground first at the velocity and angle shown?

    How did such a big plane make such a tiny hole?

    I read where there was about a 90 min. time span between when the U.S. became aware of planes being hi-jacked and the pentagon being hit......Where were the fighter jets and who was in charge of them?.....Oh yeah...Dick Cheney

    It was sure lucky that Larry Silverstein  got an insurance policy against terrorist attacks about 2 weeks earlier.

       $7,000,000,000

    "Pull It"  IS a demolition term also.

      Fire caused building 7 to come down like that.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I'm not saying it was an inside job.....Just looking for reasonable answers.
