 You realize you can just increase your wager amount if it's a sure fire winner like this, right?  Also you're insinuating that it would have been the same wager at +money.  What if the Phillies had won?  They were far and away the toughest opponent for the Dodgers.  Once they bypassed them, it's all systems go hence my very large wager.

I'll leave you with this advice: Search for winners, not value.  Winning is all that matters.

I got 20 dimes on the Dodgers to win the W.S.  Got them from my girlfriend's coin jar. Was thinking about putting down 40 cause it's for sure for sure.

Either AL team can beat the Dodgers which will definitely have the worst pen in Series. The Dodgers were lucky to win last year against an inferior Yankees team.  

I'll be rooting for the Dodgers.

HarDix out here lookin' smarter with each passing day.

Yeah, I was lookin at the final four and saw Toronto (hasn't won anything in 30 yrs) / Milw (never won) / Seattle (never won), and the Dodgers.

I told a co-worker yesterday (before that shitty game started) that if Toronto beat Seattle, then I think Toronto would have a chance to beat the Dodgers IF it was a slugfest. I got the Dodgers for the sweep last night for $200 bones, because you know, I don't even have $5000 to wager....lol.

Schneider really shit the bed last night with that Little fuck up. As a poster on reddit said, at the end of the night, when the bar lights come on, do you want to go home with the 5 or the 2? You take the fucking 5. Win or lose, Hoffman should have been in to face the Seattle power hitters and not Little. Schneider post game said he trusts all his guys.....well which is it? Trust? Or the analytics you guys have been using for years now? Every fucking Jays fan who has watched this team since the All Star break was swearing at the TV when Little came in because we all knew what was going to happen. And if WE knew, then what the fuck is wrong with Schneider??? Rant Over.

I'll sit back and wait to see who wins Game 1 of the World Series and go from there. BOL, everyone.

 Haha thanks brother, nailing down the winner and going big is a strategy most overlook even though it's so glaringly obvious.  Most are scared to make the big wager because of fear of loss.

 If you're young, I suggest saying "to hell" with bankroll management, and instead bet big.  This is the only way to get yourself a nest egg, and if you lose (which would suck, obviously) you at least have time on your side to build up and try again.  The key though is doing extensive research and only going "big" when you KNOW the wager is a winner.  (Like I did here)

"Knowing" and the outcome happening are 2 different things. If it was that easy, everyone would be millionaires over and over. I'm not young, so I'm not going big. I make enough each month to make the cost of living more bearable.

If the Dodgers win game one, then history is on their side with a higher than 65% series win %.

But don't tell us this is a sure thing when some of us have been doing this for more than 20 years. There's a reason the house always wins in the long run.
