Matrixx only has 88k in wagers not counting juice going

The Kelly Method can work in sports but it's a much better method to use in horseracing. And it also has it's limitations especially as your bankroll shrinks after a string of losses. Definitely not a foolproof method.

i didnt realize how many of you posters risk the majority of your bankrolls in one day.  You see the 10 to 20 percent thing was trying to confirm matrixxs bullshit, but i can see now most of you all bet more then 20 percent of your bankroll in one day, so i guess in theory matrixx could be doing the same thing today.

I don't risk any where near 100% of my BR on any given day. I wouldn't rule out the possibility, but the possibility of that happening is not very good.

However, I don't believe that I am at a point to where I can calculate my EV on any given play, and therefore I don't recognize the Kelly method as being proper for me at this time. I think by flat betting all plays I believe to be 53%+ will put me ahead farther in the long run than varying my bet amounts according to what I think.

Just the way you worded your initial statement was as if that was the only way to do it.

However, perfecting Kelly would lead to an infinite amount of money. It really is flawless.

And a thing that really pisses me off about these forums--not just this thread-- is that a thread will be made about a certain topic and a bunch of assholes come in and completely change the original topic. You threw out the 10% claim to make a point about Matrix's fictional bankroll. Then it gets twisted into betting methods, etc. We can debate betting strategies til the cows come home but your original post about the ludicrous bankroll of Matrix can't be debated.

If this thread was about Matrixx's fictional bankroll, cd329 should have left his useless brain in the main forums and left out the second paragraph in his original post

Yes somebody finally understands my first post.  I wish that i didnt put the other stuff in, but just like you said, i was just trying to make the point stronger.  But they all wanted to make this a money management thread.  Hell i even said early on that i dont use money management.  In fact tonight i got very lucky, had tulsa lost i would have been 2-1 on the night and stuck money like a jackass.

Maybe its the age of alot of the posters here that just dont get some things, but it is a true good feeling when you make a post and others get it, like you did.

sorry Kush, i dont bash in the main forums.  and your right had i knwon so many people put their whole bankrolls into play on any given day, then i would have left that part off.  I really would have never believed that many people bet like that.

He didn't say it was his idea. And he used that claim to show you how crazy Matrix's bankroll would have to be to make outlandish wagers.

Then you have a lot to learn. Don't carry on like you know everything and embarrasing yourself. You are failing in multiple threads at once.

Maybe its time for you to go back to the main forums and discuss the important issues, like teachers having sex with students and posting locks.

once again you just arent reading all the posts.  I stated right off the bat that all the money management ideas werent mine. I only thru in the 10-20 percent thing in my first post to backup my post about matrixx and had i known there was tjis many nutcases risking their entire bankrolls in one day, i would have left it off. Now with that said, since you seem to want to act like you know it all, why not post your money management plays everyday for 3 or 6 months?  My guess is you cant because you wouldnt want to show how us how stupid it is to risk a big portion of your bankroll everyday.  So come on gambling guru show us how wrong all those money management articles are.

I don't post plays on public forums. I posted plays on a part of Covers that no longer exists, and I had a winning record. Many people here read them, and some even saw i had over 100 units in play in one night in the golf (for >25 units profit).

I don't have to prove jackshit to anybody. I know how well I do, the only other person that is aware of my profit is my girlfriend. Faceless people on an internet forum are not high on the list of people who I have to impress
