Matthew Stafford was most definitely sharper than a spoon last night.

It was still an under until Prater kicks his 3rd long distance field goal down 10 with 30 seconds to play. Kingsbury knew he couldn't win the game so he decided to cash his over bet instead. I've been victimized by fixed matches quite a bit lately. Need to find the other side of the fix.

Every NFL commissioner, all the owners, all the refs and their wives, the top 5,000 employees in Vegas and their families, and a handful of players from each team have all conspired to fix games. Good thing not one of them has ever had a moment of integrity and spoken about it

The guy knew the answer off the top of his head, and while his answer was spoken in legalese (i.e. above my comprehension level) it basically came down to the NFL operating as a single entity for the purpose of football, as well as other activities off the field to derive additional income, which wouldn't fall under the category of sports.
He gave me a few examples, which all made perfect sense.
Providing this factual common sense answer to the conspiracy buffs will do little to change their view.
