Not sure what you're watching. If you call touching the ball possession every single play would be dual possession.

keep in mind that the idiot announcers are putting these refs under a micrscope and calling them out at every opportunity, eprhaps because they can't provide any analysis abouyt football and this is something easy to talk about.  these refs are bad but the regular refs are complete shit also, it's just that the announcers talk about how fast the game is and how jhard the job is when the regular refs are in.

it's a tough call by the nfl.  if i had a bunch of shitty employees who asked me for a raise, i wouldn't be quick to say yes just becuase their replcemewnts might be worse.

And BTW - I think I actually lost some money on that play!

I was buying and selling in game bets all game - and Im pretty sure I had a negative swing on that play.

    Just for full disclosure.

Everyone saying it was an INT.

Please tell me if there was ever a time that Jennings had the ball when Tate didnt.

the factor is....what is simultaneous, or shared or mutual possesion?

Van and I have obviously said, the Packers had more of the ball.....but Tate definitely had Simultaneous and shared possession, which goes to offense

Actually it wasn't simultaneous because Jennings had full possession while Tate only had one hand. No clear possession by Tate but clearly Jennings had the ball into his chest before Tate got 2 hands on the ball... should have had int packers got screwed!

Having your arm across the ball that soemone else has against their chest is not possession.  Jennings had it against his chest. Period. Interception. The othe ref knew it.  No simultaneous possesssion applies because Tate never had possession.  Nevremind the blatant offensive pass interefernce by Tate to even get near the ball. Gruden is right.  Packers got jobbed.

it's a tough call by the nfl. if i had a bunch of shitty employees who asked me for a raise, i wouldn't be quick to say yes just becuase their replcemewnts might be worse.

had he not tried to be a hero by going for the interception then we wouldn't be here.

Bad call indeed, but knocking the ball away is learned in the 5th grade.

Now come on Vanzack, you are smarter than this. You know it was not simultaneous possession. You know the defense caught the ball and put it to his CHEST, then the offensive dude just was touching the ball. Van, you are better than this.

Ive been a diehard Seahawk fan since they joined the leage in 76 and i have to admit that call was a little sketchy, Tate did have his hand  on the ball BUT if the REAL REFS were there no way Seattle wins, BUT ILL TAKE IT...

This is crazy they said since the one ref signaled touchdown first that goes as the call on the field and replay can only determine if it was caught not who caught it.  Guess that will be looked at by the rules commity

Fingertips on the ball last time I checked is not possession so Jennings had it 1st against his chest then Tate got his other fingertips on the ball... watch close and you see Tates right arm isn't touching the ball at 1st

Look - the ref situation is funny.

Its funny that eveyone all of a sudden thinks the old refs are great, its funny that the announcers of any game immediately blame the refs, and its funny just how crazy tonights game was.

What are the real refs asking for anyway?  It must include something crazy.  I dont think this is over a 2 dollar an hour raise.
