Love you Van but I think you missed this, Possession means you have the ball, Tate had very little if any until they went to the ground and he pretended to have some

When you look at it from the 1 replay, it looks like simultaneous possession.

how can you say it's not simultaneous?.....like I said, yeah, Packers D had more of it, but it was at the same time

jenning didn't even try and pull away from tate because he had no idea the ref would call it a td.  only after tate started fighting for the ball did jennings pull it away.  crazy.

I will watch it again on DVR in slow.

But I still think it was simultaneous.

I agree the defender had MORE of the ball - but I do not think the defender had it FIRST and then Tate took it from him.

In fact - just saw it again - tates hand was inside of the ball - so essentially there were 3 hands on the ball at the same time and remained there.  I think by rule - that is simultaneous.

whats more disgraceful is how Seattle treating it like they won this game. they should be humble the refs gave them one.

did you just not hear the definition of simultaneous possession as given on the broadcast? it obviously wasn't by that explanation

He had one hand on it until they started fighting. At least we'll have the real refs back a lot sooner now that the showcase game will be talked about all week for all the wrong reasons.

Watch Tates hand.  It is between the chest of Jennings and the ball.  When possession is made - I think there are 3 hands on the ball.

And I think that is simultaneous possession.

Not taking a hard stand on this one - just some initial observations.....

there was terrible calls leading to that pass interference for 32 yards which should have been on sidney rice you had a packers interception which was negated because the quarterback got tackled

JUST SAW IT AGAIN AND I AM EVEN MORE CONVINCED.

Dont care what Gruden and the others say.  I am looking at their hands, and there is NO TIME THAT JENNINGS HAD IT WITHOUT TATE HAVING IT.

Maybe 1 in 20 agree with VAN

I did not bet the game and that was NOT SP that was clear

2 hands on by jennings vs 1 hand on, then 1 second later 2 hands on by Tate and 1 of those on the outside of the ball.

Yep........he had one hand inside & the other over the top.

 Hey, I won...........if I was on the other side I'd be arguing it too.

No.  No it wasnt.  I have it on DVR.  The ball was intercepted and then Tate wrapped his arms around the dudes body and the ball.
