They did that to take advantage of his skills as a runner and because of his lack of accuracy as a passer. So if they get better receivers are they going to change the offense once again?

Sorry for the late response i have the damn flu. The chiefs game was by far the worst game of tebow’s career and i am starting to doubt my belief a little in tebow. I think tebow might be caving under the pressure. He looked scared and unsure of himself against the chiefs. It looks like his team doesn’t believe in him, his coaches don’t believe in him and now tebow looks like he doesn’t believe in himself. It’s not like Tebow has Urban Meyer and Josh McDaniels teaching him on the sideline with Percy Harvin, Aaron Hernandez, Riley Cooper, Jeff Demps, and Chris Rainey out there on the field with him as his offensive weapons. He has high school coach John Fox and the buccaneers of the 70s as his offensive weapons. John Fox has NO idea what he is doing. They don’t even run a college offense or a pro style offense, it looks like too me like a predictable high school offense with amateur offensive weapons. I think tebow has quit on himself and has quit on everyone around him. I think the pressure of having to carry the entire pathetic team and franchise on his back has killed his confidence.

Sparky, you can rest. All us tebow "haters" can rest. This guy has proven clearly he is not a nfl Qb. He either needs a better system or has to drastically improve. Could happen, but he looks downright shitty right now. Finally he isn't bailed out by the miracle breaks and we all see what happens. I know it's tough tebow lovers cause you were so far ahead just a few weeks ago. Props to Degenerate cause he isn't blind and can clearly see Tebow is downright awful! Has Tebow and Denver even won one game convincingly? Gawd it is plain ugly with miracles happening.

Sparky, it was just a matter of time. Either Tebow would get better or the breaks would fall off. Well the breaks are gone and so is the tebow magic. Can't have your D keeping you in every game or scoring points for you (the minnie game). The best part was seeing him fumble the ball on the "only" good drive of the game. Simply pathetic! But hey, we have been saying this from the beginning. Good luck Tebow vs and great D in the steelers!!!

I lost a little respect for him as a person as well with the praying before the last drive. As a christian I'm getting really tired of this crap throughout the game! Leave it to the beginning and end. When it looks like you are praying for a TD drive is looks pretty sad and as if god could give two craps about who wins anyway.

Well...there is no way he's going to get a better system since Fox changed everything to fit Tebow's skillset.

After next week...this thread will officially die and it should head over to the archives thread.

Well at least I see you finally admit hes not a great football!!How can you possibly look at it objectively and think they are gonna kick the Steelers azz??How are they score points?I would be shocked if they scored more than 10-14 pts

The Steelers have a hell of a pass defense. Too bad they're facing a team without a quarterback.

Even though Tebow as pathetic as he is and this disgusting O's performance, I can still see Denver possibly keeping this close. More so just Pitt being awful right now. It's easily possible to be a 17-10, 21-13, 14-10 type of game. Couple big ben mistakes and who knows! This game has all the makings for a tebow miracle. Pitt O is awful right now and with a turnover here or there and Denver playing well on D again Tebow may make a final winning drive after putting up his incredible 75 total yards in the first three Q's.

What do you mean "again"? Haven't you heard? They're in the bottom 10 statistically. They aren't good.

I know! Weren't they downright awful against KC losing 7-3, or the jets winning 17-13, or Kc in KC 17-10, or wait, they were horrid against the bears when they won 13-10. I think the worst performance was against SD in SD when they won 16-13. Or maybe against Minni when they gave up all those yards yet still had a pick 6 and game winning INT. Or they did give up 24 to and oak team but get overlooked for the 3-4 picks they had. That Miami game was awful too when they gave up 15 on the road to the dolphins! Or how about when Det scored 45 on them and 3 td's were from the saviour?

Sparky dude, you're right they are shit! Totally not the reason Denver won those games! It was all Tebow as I recall!

Screw Andrew Luck. I want to see Newton continue to play and, hopefully next season, face the team that drafted and is starting...RG3.

Dissing Andrew Luck, I should start a thread right now how you think RG3 is/will be better than ANDREW LUCK

That dude played AWESOME last night and has the whole package(but TT good looks)

Look here I love me some RG3 but he is a major stereotype hurdle to overcome which if the right team drafts him(RIGHT team) he can have a very successful career in the NFL(thank Mom and Daddy for that, military upbringing) but dissing the next great JOHN ELWAY. WTF???

I didn't say that. But I'm more excited to see if RG3 than Luck. RG3 could be a failure or do what Newton has done so far. Only time will tell.

I do love Luck, though. He'll run people over if he wants to.

Both are beasts and I can't wait to see where RG3 lands. RG3 is an oustanding guy in his own right. After his heisman victory, he went down to where the Twin Towers stood and prayed for all those who lost their lives. He's an all around great guy like Tebow is. But I expect him to actually make it in the NFL. But like I said. Time will tell.

I love watching Rodgers, Brady and Brees. But there are times where I rather watch Newton and his style over those guys.

What’s weird is people actually praise fox as if he is something special? How did he change anything? All he did was tell the defense what you are going to do every down. Run 10 times, then throw, run 10 times, then throw, run 10 times, then throw, run 10 times, then throw. Then when the game is on the line… here tebow… since you’re in such a rhythm passing. They know you’re going to pass now, save us and throw, when you haven’t all day, with a minute left in the game and drive us 80 yards down the field with the most pathetic receiving core and your confidence shot. Is that what you mean by fox changing everything to help tebow. Man fox is a genius. If you guys would just say, tebow sucks, john fox is an idiot, the scheme is amateur, the offensive weapons suck, then there would be no response from me but no you pick on tebow as if he is surrounded by talent. The truth is the entire offense and coaching staff sucked Sunday, not just tebow and still he made a pass to put them in a position to win. To make things worse when tebow does make a throw to get them in a position to win, the receiver drops it! You guys were praying and it worked because willis dropped a wide open pass that would have put them in a position to score and win the game that day. 2nd and 10 Tebow’s pass is dropped deep right to Willis with 30 seconds left that would made it 1st down on the chiefs 29 yard line. I guess it was tebow fault he dropped the pass. Right sparky? Here's the pass willis dropped. I don't know if this is going to work but i will give it a shot

I have been watching and following sports for a while and I can’t recall an NFL player that’s almost a rookie that’s been more unfairly hated than Tim Tebow.

Nonstop people bitch and moan about how much he sucks and has no business playing in the NFL.  Consider Tebow has had SIX games this season with a passer rating over 90 while he led his team to a division title while Sam Bradford didn’t have a single game with a passer rating over 90 (and only one over 80) while going 1-9 as a starter.

And no, I’m not saying Tebow is better than Bradford.  Just that Tebow statistically had a better season while leading his team to a division title and gets nothing but nonstop abuse while no one even mentions the first overall pick Sam Bradford having a statistically worse season while winning just one game as a starter.

And no, I’m not saying Tebow is better than Bradford.  Just that Tebow statistically had a better season while leading his team to a division title and gets nothing but nonstop abuse while no one even mentions the first overall pick Sam Bradford having a statistically worse season while winning just one game as a starter.
