well first of all apologize for what? reread all of my 2posts in this thread. the only thing i talked about about was how its fake since books have $150k or 100k max's and he wouldnt get the $217k (turns out i was right and others who suggested it as well). also note it is easy to photoshop.
of course this is the 100th thread posted about winning a huge parlay, jackpot, slot machine, etc and the only reliable source to back it up was Lou....(after I made my first post)
again i want to stress to ironpicks that in the future do not wager 1/4th of your bankroll on a 10tm parlay. the picture you posted indicated this very play and how you wagered in the past (page 1 for any interested). you need to start using proper bankroll management especially after obtaining this sizeable bankroll.

esplanade -- if their maximum parlay payout is in the rules, then that's not them giving him a 30% haircut, that's just enforcing their policies. Does it suck that the payout displayed and calculated was 60,000 higher? Absolutely. It is something that BetEd should fix as it could lead to future problems. That being said, why I'm saying BetEd's stock is risen to me is because they are ACTUALLY PAYING OUT $150,000 from all indications. I don't care what freaking book you are -- if you are paying out $150,000 wins, your book is healthy and I doubt you will have problems paying out wins of $5,000 or $10,000 like some books do.

Like I've always said... you know what you're getting into when you choose your bookie. I play with Pinnacle because I play straight and I like low vig... Other people play elsewhere for other reasons, and I don't judge, because as long as it pays, I play. I know many other books that would NEVER honour anywhere near 150k payout... it's nice to see a bookie pay.
Besides, I thought it was well understood that you ACTUALLY READ ALL THE TERMS, AGREEMENTS, RULES, ETC. with your books... but I guess it serves a lesson to those of you who skipped over that part.

You are WRONG. If the guy was aware of the rules he would have known what his maximum payout would be if he hit his parlay. He was NEVER going to get 217K and the rules state this. Perhaps if he was aware of the rules he could have made his parlay an 8 teamer to win the $150k, instead of taking the extra risk by making it a 10 teamer and for $67k that he was NEVER going to get paid.
In saying that, as I said previously, I do think that BetED should credit his acct the remaining balance, or at least some of it, and attach a rollover clause to it so that he can play with money that he rightfully won but will not receive due to their ( and most books ) max payout rules.

I would contact a lawyer in your area and talk to him/her about the best way to collect your money. Don't tell them how much because they'll want a %. Currently, it is very safe in your BetEd account because it was verified by Lou and if BetEd did anything it would hurt their sportsbook rating. Honestly, your money is 100% safe with them.
I'm not sure how much BetEd will pay you in a lump sum as I don't use them but you have to remember you just can't deposit a large amount into you bank account (US banks) without having someone from the FBI showing up at your house. Believe me you don't want that headache or more scruntity down the road on future deposits to your bank account. The Patriot Act gives the US Government lots of power that may not be aware of. I only say this because you didn't realize you overbet your original amount and were denied 60k but it was in accordance with BetEd's rules.

that is the crazy part, not that winning a 10 teamer is! so many people hate because they never won a 8-12 team parlay! most dont even try, they just assume its damn near impossible, but this is not true! some one said that the odds of winning a 10 teamer is like winning the lottery, TRUST the odds of winning a 10 teamer is WAY HIGHER than the lotto! I play lotto every day and never won! but i play a 9-12 teamer every friday. I have won a 12tmr twice, a 10 tmr four times, a 9tmr once! ( and 5-8 tmrs lots of times) all since sep-08! although i never put 500 on it, hell i never put 20 on it! its usually 10dlrs and 15 sometimes! although the funny thing is,as soon as you win you always wished you woulda put more! How many times did you put that kinda money on a 10 teamer? wheather its 500 0r a 100?
