flutie, I won every ml play in college basketball last week and there were about 25-30 of them. Spurs shoot 36% today. Parker doesn't score. Green 2/13 and Ginobili 2/9. Just inexplicably horrendous shooting, and they had open looks. I said this yesterday. NBA is brutal. Teams don't care. And that's why my wagers in terms of NBA are smaller. GS is the only respectable team in the NBA. These other teams have no consistency. Spurs will probably shoot 60% next game.
It's fine though because we got a moneymaker game in Kansas tomorrow and I'm far more confident in that than the bet today. It will be a very big wager in what I think is a perfect spot. When I put 15k on something instead of 5, it's for a reason. So if we get hosed in some of these smaller plays, it's fine.
Some of you guys have no life. If you don't like this thread, fine. Why are you posting? Are you angry with your life or something? I mean it's inexplicable you go out of your way and waste your time posting just to rip someone. Do something more productive with your life.

I know people will get riled up over the big Kansas bet. They hadn't lost at home in 5 years until last week. I don't think they're losing back to back at home. Especially to WV who beat them down in WV a couple weeks ago so this is also a revenge spot. WV relies too much on the press and has inconsistent shooting. Kansas is the better team. With that being said, these teams are closer together than last year as I believe Kansas has dropped off a bit and WV is a little better. Still, I don't think that will matter here.
The 3 team NBA parlay is based on history. Charlotte owns Philly at home. Miami owns Orlando at home. And Brooklyn is just awful and I don't see them having offensive success vs Memphis with that roster. Much diff though than yesterday's games where I made a mistake. Brooklyn really has no talent. NY has some talent, but just doesn't play well together. Big diff.
Syracuse is a bad shooting team and I think Louisville is a horrid matchup for them. With that being said, any time I take Louisville on the road they tend to dog it so I made this less. But matchup wise this looks bad for Syracuse. Still, Syracuse and that zone could give Louisville issues. But Louisville has much better 3 point shooting this year. Louisville wins this game easy at home or on a neutral floor - we'll see how big of an adv home court is for Syracuse.

Also want to touch on Toronto. How is this team 9 games over .500 and 20 games over every year? Every time I bet them they lose. I mean I can't tell you how many times I've parlayed them (in the past not as much this year) like -7 or -8 at home vs mediocre to bad teams like Detroit or Indiana and they lose seemingly 80% of the time in these spots. Even Orlando has beaten them regularly. Maybe they just beat up on teams like Milwaukee, Brooklyn, Philly and go 11-1 or whatever vs those teams every year and they are a few games over .500 vs the rest of the league. You blow a 15 point home lead to Det in the third in a game you have to win? And they were up 7 with like 3 min left. At that point, Det has to score on almost every possession and you have to miss on every possession to screw that up. Just amazing to me. Sa and Tor both should have won.
Wiscy was just an awful play admittedly. I guess I thought with NW's top scorer out they weren't winning. I mean my god they lost at home to Illinois last week . . . which is a HORRIFIC loss and I just couldn't see them rebounding after that. Wiscy has proven to be vastly overrated and very limited offensively though and found a way to lose.
Fact of the matter is none of those teams were reliable enough in those spots and it was just a bad bet. I'm going to stay out of the NBA for the most part with maybe a couple bets a week.

In college basketball, always wait till the buzzer. Last year, I had Purdue in the first round. Lose a 14 point lead to an inferior team in Arkansas Little Rock. Previous year I had Baylor first around. Lose a 12 point lead in the final 2:30. I had Texas AM vs Northern Iowa also last year. Down 10 with 30 seconds left and come back to win. Teams choke so much in CB. Teams can't handle the press, don't make free throws, etc.
Kansas is pure garbage. If they're a 1 seed it's a joke. They aren't even close to the team they were last year. They used to dominate teams at home. This year? 1 loss, 2 2 point wins, and an ot win off a huge choke job.

Good news today guys. I'm not betting on the NBA! Honest to god. I can't hit an NBA game to save my life right now. Gotta love GS getting waxed by 20 to Denver last night.

I really like this play today. Some other games I looked at teasing in a separate smaller play. Considered WF, VT, and Boise . . . but I have been terrible with the smaller plays so I'm just going to stick to one larger play today.

Bankroll at $88,200 after a houses of horrors night. Really wasn't as bad as the results. Only lost 3 games. Unfortunately, they were all in separate bets. Most games I won in blowouts. Houston really screwed me over by not showing up. And SC with a terrible performance against a not very good Arkansas team.

+$21,900 yesterday. Bankroll at $140,100.
Was out drinking last night and woke up and didn't even look at the slate today. I would have parlayed Wisconsin with Creighton had I seen it before. The odds look like they would pay about even money and I have bad feeling it's going to be a winner. Just a spot where Wiscy is due to play a decent game at home vs a Maryland team that is pretty meh. And Georgetown is terrible on the road. Don't see them winning today.
Like the Creighton game a fair amount. I'd have to parlay them with another team since the Wiscy game is in play currently. Really no other college games out there. Could do hockey with the Penguins. I'll have to mull that over.
