Yes, we're going to golf for a bet in a parlay today. It's a feel play I have zero regrets about if it loses. We get creative on this thread. That's what makes it different from everywhere else. I basically broke even yesterday, but I really botched the Cavs game. Actually, 10 min after the game started I realized that was such a mistake bet because they were fatigued and had no motivation. I took them because the Wiz just have been horrible in Cleveland in almost all their matchups, but they were playing a tired Cleveland team last night. Kansas also came in way overconfident and giving too many points and was due for a bad game. I let the home court change my thinking in that too much. If the game was played somewhere else, I never would have taken them, but being in Kansas City and Oregon really not having looked all that great on the road this year (lot of wins but 2-4 point wins vs teams that really aren't very good) I didn't think they'd win. So I messed up those bad. I should have teasered both the opposite way. But I did have a good read on the Clips and Blazers game in my bigger play. Clips needed that game bad and Jazz on the road vs good teams just don't perform well historically in recent years. Blazers were getting T Wolves off a back to back in OT vs the Lakers where they put in everything and lost in devastating fashion and were a sitting duck last night. I expected that line to be 7.5 and was surprised it was at 5.5 the entire night. So I had a great read there, but I forced the Cavs game in a situation where motivation wasn't there and gave it back. Playoffs will be different. Trust me, you get Cavs -300 vs the Wiz in the second round with say the Warriors -380 vs the Clips at home second round in game 1 and that's a monster big 2 team parlay spot. But the timing was not right last night.

Also, I did notice the Blazers had beaten Minnesota 18 of their last 20 at home. I mean that's a pretty big stat. When you get a bunch of factors that line up like that on one side, that's when you know you got a really good bet.

You're getting great odds now because of the standings and Durant. However, if you look at the schedule they're a near lock for number one seed. And the Spurs are a paper tiger. They're a very good team, but they can't really compete with GS over 7 games because I've made a number of observations about them this year. They can't piece together more than 1 stellar performance in a row. Like they win one game in a blowout, and the next 5-6 in a row they might win they do just enough to get by teams that aren't good. They aren't winning by 20 and such vs the bottom feeders every night like they used to in their prime years with the big 3 or that 2014 championship. And it really is because offensively they are so reliant on Leonard they have limited consistency on that end of the floor. They don't have enough juice to beat GS 4 out of 7 games where they'll need to win 2 in a row at some point to win that series. I love the Spurs I root for them to win every year, but I really don't think they can do it. Just not enough talent. The big 3 just doesn't score enough and if you watch them on offense it's a much diff look. I can go more into this later, but really if the Spurs can't beat them that's enough to ride GS BIG. Because the Clippers can't beat them. The Rockets just don't play enough D or match up well. Both those teams have been owned by GS. They can win a couple games, but not 4 of 7 without home court with that style. And the Cavs they're gonna rip in the finals. Cavs caught them off guard last year and the Dubs choked bad in a series they really had. They were the better team, but you had Green out game 5 and it got pushed to 7 and they just got tired and choked bad in game 7. That's not happening this year. That's a 5 game series. It will be very much like the Spurs Heat rematch where the better more motivated team wins pretty easily. And honestly I think GS can win this even without Durant, but he'll be back in time for second round.
