This may be Ottawa's best chance to get their first win of the season, but a troublesome Calgary offense will squander those hopes at McMahon Stadium.

The 0-12 Ottawa Redblacks head west to visit the 5-8 Calgary Stampeders on Saturday, Sept. 19.

These teams have combined to lose nine of their last 10 games, and with Ottawa still looking to get in the win column in 2026, it's time to dive into my Redblacks vs. Stampeders predictions.

Despite this matchup featuring the two last-place teams in their respective divisions, Calgary enters as a hefty -395 favorite, and my CFL picks suggest the Stampeders are worthy chalk in the latest CFL odds.

Who will win Redblacks vs. Stampeders: Stampeders (-395)

Despite the Calgary Stampeders losing four of five and falling to the bottom of the West, they remain the second-highest-scoring team in the league, and they are still third in rushing yards per game.

Meanwhile, the Ottawa Redblacks rank last in nearly every major defensive category, including points, total yards, passing yards, and rushing yards surrendered.

Ottawa remains winless halfway through September and enters as a 7.5-point underdog, and I’ll comfortably back the Stampeders up to -420.

Redblacks vs. Stampeders total prediction: Over 62.5 (-110)

Death, taxes, and wildly high CFL totals. This one doesn't deter me.

Calgary has played to the full game Over in back-to-back games and seven of its last 10, while Ottawa has cashed the Over in two of its last three.

The Redblacks have also allowed 33+ points in seven of their last eight contests, while the Stampeders have allowed 30+ in four of their last five.

Calgary has surrendered 81 points over its last two games, including a season-high 53 against the Edmonton Elks last week.

I'd comfortably play this to -130.

Covers COVERS INTEL: These two teams are a combined 16-9-0 O/U this season, but just 9-16-0 ATS.

Redblacks vs. Stampeders same-game parlay

The Redblacks have lost by multiple scores and failed to cover some lofty spreads in five of their last six games, losing by an average of 18.1 points during that span.

If the Stampeders’ offensive tendencies are on full display at McMahon Stadium and the Redblacks find the end zone a few times, a shootout resulting in Ottawa’s 13th loss of the season is the most likely outcome.
