The Saskatchewan Roughriders visit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 4 p.m. ET, for a pivotal game amid a tight West Division playoff race. Saskatchewan opens as the slight betting favorite, and its strength on both sides of the ball shows up in my Roughriders vs. Blue Bombers prediction.

With a slew of the league's top position players hitting the field in Manitoba, there's no shortage of value for Saturday's CFL picks and CFL odds ahead of this exciting matchup.

Who will win Roughriders vs Blue Bombers: Roughriders (-120)

The Roughriders sit one game back of the division-leading Edmonton Elks, have allowed the second-fewest points of any team, and just bested the Blue Bombers 32-26 on Monday.

Both teams possess rushing offenses below league average, and Saskatchewan has the far superior passing game. The Riders have accumulated over 600 more passing yards than the Bombers, and despite Winnipeg allowing the fewest passing yards of any team, QB Trevor Harris torched them for 362 yards through the air not even a week ago.

Furthermore, the Riders have allowed just 843 rushing yards this season and held the Bombers' top offensive threat in running back Brady Oliveira to a season-low 28 rushing yards on Monday.

This matchup is pretty close to a pick 'em, but I feel comfortable leaning on the 2025 Grey Cup MVP and company.

Roughriders vs Blue Bombers total prediction: Under 57.5 (-105)

These teams combined for 58 points on Monday, narrowly cashing the Over. That doesn't mean a repeat performance should be expected.

The Roughriders had played to the Under in four of their previous five games, with the Blue Bombers doing the same in two of their previous three. Winnipeg has scored the third-fewest points in the league this season, and their biggest offensive weapon was completely neutralized by a strong Saskatchewan rush defense.

Bombers QB Zach Collaros has been serviceable this season, with a 103.9 QB rating, and had one of his best showings on Monday versus the Riders. He'd played to a double-digit rating in five of his previous seven starts, and I expect him to come back down to earth.

These teams won't sniff the Over if Collaros struggles to carry this offense and Oliveira is once again rendered ineffective.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Both of these West Division teams are 6-6 ATS this season.
