There's a busy slate of five games on the WNBA schedule starting at 2 p.m. ET this afternoon, giving us plenty of options when we consider our WNBA moneyline picks.
I'm expecting the Minnesota Lynx and Los Angeles Aces to take care of business, but I see the Washington Mystics as a great value as an underdog against the Indiana Fever. Keep reading to see all my free WNBA picks for Sunday, Sept. 20.

Expert WNBA moneyline picks: Sept. 20
Minnesota Lynx vs Connecticut pick: Lynx
The Minnesota Lynx come into Sunday's matchup on a three-game losing streak, but there are few matchups more one-sided than the one between the league's top team and the Connecticut Sun.
The Lynx lead the league in points per game (86.1), point differential (9.4), and effective field goal percentage (54.2%). The Sun are dead last in scoring (78.5 ppg), effective field goal percentage (46.3%), and even foul rate (24.8%).
Ignore Minnesota's recent struggles: this is almost a guaranteed win for the Lynx, and if you're betting this game, they're the pick at up to 96%.
New York Liberty vs Toronto Tempo pick: Liberty
As in our first matchup, there are some surface reasons to think the Toronto Tempo have value, as they've split their matchups with the New York Liberty this season, but Toronto has lost 17 of its last 18 games overall, while the Liberty are finally playing as well as we've expected them to perform all year, going 5-2 in their last seven games.
Toronto struggles on defense, allowing a league-high 113.3 points per 100 possessions. That will make it even harder for the Tempo to spring an upset against a New York team that ranks fifth in offensive rating (111.0).
This isn't quite as one-sided as our first matchup, but I'm still taking the Liberty to win at up to 91%.
Washington Mystics vs Indiana Fever pick: Mystics
The Indiana Fever have generally outlasted opponents with their scoring prowess, but the Washington Mystics have managed to split their season series with the Fever so far in 2026.
These teams have played a pair of two-point games, with Washington's efficient defense — the Mystics rank second in defensive rating (103.5) — fighting against the Fever's blistering offense that scores 97.1 ppg.
Washington is coming off a 30-point win and should have Sonia Citron back in the lineup for today's matchup. Indiana deserves to be a favorite, but I love backing the Mystics as an underdog up to 40%.
Portland Fire vs Los Angeles Sparks pick: Sparks
The Los Angeles Sparks have had their way with the Portland Fire so far this season, winning both of their earlier matchups. The Sparks have also been playing surprisingly well as of late, going 3-2 straight up and 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall.
Meanwhile, the Fire have lost six of their last seven, and while they remain a solid option for spread bettors, they're coming up short of wins. Portland gets itself in trouble by committing 22.0 fouls per game (second-most in the WNBA) and allowing opponents to comfortably run their offenses, as they give up a league-high 22.9 assists per game.
The Sparks are the pick at home, and I'm backing them at up to 55%.
Seattle Storm vs Las Vegas Aces pick: Aces
As long as A'ja Wilson is on the floor, the Las Vegas Aces are a threat to win the WNBA title this year. That puts them in an entirely different league than the Seattle Storm, who have lost six of their last seven and are a brutal 2-19 on the road this season.
The Aces have the second-most efficient offense in the WNBA (112.6 offensive rating), while Seattle is 14th in effective field goal percentage (48.3%). The Storm simply don't have the offensive firepower to keep up with Las Vegas, which has beaten Seattle by double digits in each of their 2026 meetings.
I'm taking the Aces to win here at up to 93%.
Today's WNBA moneyline combo
While I've played it safe with my combos over the last couple of days, I'm happy to take a bit more of a risk today. While the Lynx should have no trouble winning, and the Sparks are a deserving (if slight) favorite, the Mystics are an underdog.
Still, Washington has shown they have value against Indiana, and if we're getting 6.0x or more, this is an outstanding combo for the Sunday slate.
