Game 5 of the WNBA Finals goes tonight, and Gabby Williams will help deliver a clutch win for the Valkyries (53% on the moneyline) over the Dream.

Aside from Atlanta's offensive eruption in Game 3, offense has been scarce, and my Dream vs. Valkyries prediction expects more of the same for this 8 p.m. ET tip at Chase Center on Oct. 26.

My WNBA picks also eye the Over on Gabby Williams' scoring prop for Game 5 of the WNBA Finals.

 TOP PICK
Dream vs Valkyries prediction: Under 151.5

The Under has hit in three of four games in this series, and I’ll trade this line down to 148.5.

Despite Game 3’s 168-point scoring binge, the series has averaged 143.3 points per game, well below this 151.5-point line.

Each team has held the other to sub-38% shooting and forced at least 13.5 turnovers. The Atlanta Dream own a smothering 87.4 defensive rating, and the Golden State Valkyries sit at an impressive 98.4.

WNBA Finals games have slowed to a grind, with the Dream and Valkyries averaging just 77.4 possessions per game.

Fewer possessions, contested looks, and inefficient shooting will lead to another low-scoring game.

Covers COVERS INTEL: The Valkyries got a defensive spark in Game 4 by shifting Tiffany Hayes and Kaila Charles into the starting lineup for the first time this series. Hayes finished with a defensive rating of 92.4, her best in the Finals.

Dream vs Valkyries combo

Gabby Williams averaged 16.1 points per regular-season home game, and just 12.5 on the road. She’s averaging 20.8 ppg through 10 postseason appearances, going for 20+ five times.

In seven total meetings with the Dream this season, she’s cleared this line twice in four home games and failed to reach it in any of her trips to Atlanta. If the Valkyries want to win on Monday, they’ll need Williams to lead the way. And I expect her to do exactly that.

Golden State sports a +5.2-point differential at home in the playoffs compared to a -4.8 road differential. That’s a 10-point swing, and the raucous crowd at “Ballhalla” will be roaring as the V’s look to wrestle back momentum and retake the series lead.

The Valkyries to take Game 5 at home before the series shifts back to Atlanta.

Dream vs Valkyries combo

  • Under 151.5
  • Gabby Williams Over 19.5 points
  • Valkyries -1.5

Dream vs Valkyries player prop: Angel Reese Over 15.5 points

Angel Reese averaged 21.7 points on 56.4% shooting in Games 1-3, but she finished with only eight points on 2-for-12 shooting in Game 4. The scoring output represented her lowest postseason mark and was one of only six games in 2026 in which she scored fewer than 10.

Reese has bounced back quickly after suboptimal showings, as she did early in the Finals. The superstar scored 14 points in the first half of Game 1 before going scoreless in the second half.

She responded with a monstrous 30-point effort in Game 2, and I expect her to attack Game 5 with the same aggression. Reese isn’t one to shy away from a big moment, and a big night on offense could mean a series lead with Game 6 back at home.

I’ll trade this one up to 55%.
