Baeza vs Sato Betting Preview
Miguel “Caramel Thunder” Baeza is coming off a second-round knockout over UFC veteran Matt Brown in May. The 28-year-old is now 9-0 in his career, including 2-0 since entering the UFC.
Baeza is a dangerous striker with explosive knockout power, as seven of his nine career wins have come by KO/TKO.
Sato is fresh off an impressive 48-second TKO win over UFC newcomer Jason Witt in June. That victory allowed him to bounce back from a submission loss to Belal Muhammed last September and improved his record to 2-1 at the UFC level.
The 30-year-old has spent much of his MMA career with Japanese promotions like Pancrase and is 7-2 in his previous nine fights—with all seven victories coming by knockout. Like Baeza, Sato prefers to stand up and rely on his high-volume striking and heavy hands.

Baeza vs Sato UFC Prediction and Betting Pick
PREDICTION: Sato to win +152 - This should be a terrific fight between a pair of fighters with dynamite in their hands. Although Baeza is fresh off a victory over a fairly big name in Brown, the 39-year-old Brown is on the decline of his career and still almost picked up a first-round knockout when Baeza began the fight tentatively.
If Baeza comes out flat again he could be on the back foot against a pressure fighter like Sato, who likes to bang and string together combos. Sato definitely has a puncher's chance in this one, which gives him great value at +152 against a relatively inexperienced fighter like Baeza.
